We bought this a couple of months ago to be ready for the winter. Last year a lot of people lost power, and this year we will be ready. It has great features and it's portable which we really wanted. We haven't had to use the generator yet, but we are excited about our purchase. We have already recommended one to all of our friends.

I just bought this. It was very well packed. Setup was easy and uncomplicated. Added oil & fuel and it started right up. I tested all of the outlets. They all operated except the 120/240V AC 30 amp outlet. The 30 amp circuit breaker switch immediately above it is broken. I will contact Customer Service to see about repairing it.

Very pleased with my purchase of the Westinghouse Model Wgen9500DF Generator! Starts right up and runs great on either gas or propane with plenty of power for important appliances, furnace, AC units along with TV, radio to keep up to date on information if needed! Has 50Amp plug for the high amp use too. Start or stop with remote from even inside the house. I recommend this unit!

Although I purchased it on July 1st 2021 I did not pick it up until July 21st 2021. They did not have it in the store and had to order it. It's sat in a box for over a year until the hurricane was probably coming this way. That's when I realized that did carburetor was not working. I've tried everything I was instructed to do and I still cannot get it to work off gasoline so that's why I am asking to have a new carburetor sent to me. It will only work off propane thank God Ian did not come this way because I could not have afforded that much propane

Overall this is a great unit. I also own a Generac GP15000E. All things being equal, I think the Generac is better built and will most likely have a longer life. However, this unit has dual fuel capability, smart switch technology, remote start, and a battery charger. All are the reasons, I went with this unit, and I'm not disappointed.

I bought this generator for home use when the power goes out. I replaced an extended life generator from another brand that finally died during the power outage we just had here in AL. I shopped for several days to find an extended life dual fuel generator with a pressurized oil lubrication system and filter. I could not locate one and finally decided to purchase this generator for its features, less than 5% THD, and run time. Nowhere in the description for this generator, nor in any of the photos, does it indicate that this generator has pressurized oil lubrication. When it arrived yesterday we were amazed and absolutely thrilled that it has this feature. If this is emphasized in the advertisements and description Westinghouse would probably sell a lot more of these generators. We prepped it and then started it inside a metal storage building. Yes we know that we should have been outside. We were surprised and impressed that it was so quiet that we could actually talk to each other beside the generator in a metal building. We were impressed that the muffler was so large. Really happy with our purchase.

The registration WEB page asked me to give a review. I went to Bolton, Ontario to pickup my generator. I returned to Quebec without any problem. The WGen20000 is very heavy, with 580 pounds. The packaging is well done to protect it from scratches and debris on the road. It seems to be of good construction and placed on a very resistant steel frame with a good coat of resistant paint. In a month or two, I will be ready to make a review, when i will start the generator. I bought a Generac 200 Amp, Automatic Transfer Switch to use all the power from this 28000 Watt in peak power. I just ordered a Remote Monitor ATS Amf Generator Controller to monitor electric outage from Hydro-Quebec. It was more easy to install for whole house and more practical when I'm away. With this new controller, i will install all the sensors i need, to monitor this air cooled gas engine. I will see the engine temperature on each cylinder, the oil pressure, oil temperature, Engine revolution (RPM), Battery voltage, Alternator amperage, Hour meter for each electric outage, Oil change monitoring and some other engine failures ​

When I was looking for a powerful generator that could take care of our needs after a hurricane, I turned to our electrician who recommended the WG 9500DF. He was right. The 9500DF is easy to operate and delivers power big time. We couldn't be happier with this product.

I have the baby brother WGen9500DF and loved it to provide power to my house but moved into a larger home and it was not quite large enough to handle the load. I decided to get this monster to do the job. I have yet to connect it to my house but love all of the features and some new ones my old generator didnt have. Power outages happen especially in Texas but I won't have a problem keeping the heat or AC on!

I bought this and I'm so happy I did because it's capable of running my whole house plus with no problems during these California outages we no longer have to worry about food being spoiled in the house not being able to run as normal Westinghouse was the highest rated that's why I waited for these to come back in stock.
