We needed a larger portable generator for our home, I wanted to make sure it would be large enough to support most of our house including our AC. This unit is very heavy assembly was easy but moving it around while assembling you should probably have at least two adults. It started up on the first try after adding the gas and oils. It looks like a well made unit.

Having recently lost power twice at my home, I wanted to purchase a generator that had the capacity to run my entire home, mainly my air conditioning. I just powered my home (using propane) and everything worked perfectly. I was also concerned with voltage fluctuations depending on the draw and wanted something that was electronic safe. I am hoping as with all generators that I have never to use it, but feel grateful to have the ability to handle the required load of my home.

I just got it today. Assembly was very easy, just put the bar on and 2 tires. It took a few minutes to fill with oil. Very hard to see the oil on the dip stick. I am going to hook it up to natural gas, but for the test run I used propane. Connecting the propane line (it was supplied) very easy. It started right up. I really like the remote start/stop. I drained the air from 26 gallon compressor and used it for the test. The generator didn’t even stumble. I’m excited to put it to the real test next time the power goes out.

This is a very reliable, capable, and reliable whole-house portable generator that I purchased in Florida for Hurricane season. It is much more affordable that the permanent stand-by solutions offered by other companies, and I can take it with me when I move.

Can’t put a price on comfort and security knowing that we can restore power in a storm. The product starts right up and handles the load of my home. We are running A/C, septic and well pumps along with standard 110 outlets. We just turn off or turn up A/C to run the range or dryer.

Just got delivered awesome generator very well built and sturdy started up came with tools to put together a child could put this together the panel is very well laid out I’m actually very satisfied this thing reeks of power oh yea

Bought July '26 but yet to start it up. Very soon though. This beast will power my house with an interlock setup during frequent poewer outages. Tri Fuel and has a lot of options. I'm confident with my research that this is the ticket.

Unable to pair the remote for remote start, but functionally, the unit did what I bought it to do. Had a 30 hour power outage in my area a month after purchasing. Even though I hadn’t wired my house yet for backup power, I was able to run my refrigerator, freezer, and internet using extension cords. Glad I purchased it!

Did a ton of research and thrilled to get this up and running. Small shipping issue but Westinghouse support stepped right in and made everything right from day1. Upgrading from a wgen9500 for addiitonal power and intend to use as whole home backup.

Just took the unit out of the box and it won't start. Fully charged the battery with the trickle charger. Engine still won't turn over. Plus, it has no manual start option, so I'm dead in the water. Hope this storm doesn't cause the power to go out.
