SIMPLE ASSEMBLY. REMOTE FEATURE IS IDEAL

After simple assembly; tires, lift bar, and attaching the battery, it started right up. I recommend High Octane gas (93 or above). Ensure you read the instructions, step by step. Oil is provided. It is very heavy. However, the trailer arms make it so much easier to move. :-). My first Westinghouse generator. I am completing a whole home load test (1800 square feet) it should do fine. Remote starter is very convenient, and starts the generator from a good distance.

Westinghouse WGen14500TFc is the best in its class

*The Positive: Power and Performance: 13,500 peak watts, 10,500 running watts (propane), are powerful enough to run my entire 3300 sq ft home(built in 2023), including central A/C units and multiple appliances simultaneously. -Ease of Use & Setup: The setup process is described as straightforward, and features like the electric start, remote start key fob, and push-button operation are highly appreciated for convenience, especially during bad weather. Total time: 45 minutes. -Fuel Versatility: The tri-fuel (gasoline, propane, and natural gas) options are major highlights, offering flexibility and reliability when one fuel source might be scarce. Mine runs ONLY on propane: 3 sets of 100L tanks- my choice. -Quality Build: well-built, rugged, and durable, with solid construction designed to last. -Low THD: This specific model offers low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) (<5%), making it safe for sensitive electronics like laptops and cell phones. *Some Critical Issues: -Noise Level: It's loud when running(depending on where you locate it), which is a concern for nighttime operation or proximity to neighbors. I used the Generator Exhaust Extension Silencer Kit(Amazon) with Insulated Through-Wall Mounting Plate, and solved the noise and CO problem. -Weight/Mobility: The units are heavy (around 348 lbs), so while they have wheels and handles for portability, moving them requires effort. -Minor Component Issues: a sensitive CO sensor that causes the unit to shut off, quick-connect fittings, and other accessories are available to buy if needed. *Overall, after 1 year of use in Florida, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, considering the generator a great value for the money and a reliable investment for home power backup during hurricane season outages.

Very satisfied...great addition

I bought the unit in anticipation of an extended power outage related to a forecast ice storm. Although the storm was less severe than anticipated and we never lost power, I'm thankful that I made the purchase, as this had been on my list for quite a while. I tested the unit recently and everything works great. Very happy with the product so far and this will reduce anxiety for any future extended power outages.

Happy with Westinghouse Generators!

I'm in the process of break-in, but the generator started right up on propane. Does seem to have a rattle when under a load. We will see how it works out. I have 3 other Westinghouse generators, a iGen 4000Dfc and two iGen 2550c Inverter generators. I have had zero issues, which is why I chose the Westinghouse brand. Hopefully it stays true to for. Ordered the Dual Fuel WGen 14500 and was upgraded to the Tri-fuel, thanks Westinghouse...

I bought this about a month ago and I'm glad I did. The power goes out here quite often and I can't wait to start using it. I had a switch box installed so I should be able to power my entire house when disaster strikes.I can also power my shop as needed as well.

Arrived on schedule

So far everything is as advertised. Ask me again in a year after it has been through all 4 seasons. I do wonder why so many generators for outdoor use and storage have electric starts and no pull start. Keeping a battery charged during a Northern winter requires special attention.

Freezing in Tennessee

Living in rural Tennessee with an all-electric home, we went through a power outage for over 2 weeks in very cold temperatures. It was an experience we hope to never experience again. That is why we purchased this generator. Fortunately, we have not used this generator as of yet. However, we are confident that we will be able to enjoy the enmities in which we normally have with the help of the Westinghouse Generator.

Whole home capable

Just bought the generator. So far I am well pleased. The set up was not difficult, but I will say the illustrations on the set up sheet could be more detailed. As expected, the unit is heavy. Could be more easily maneuvered with 4 wheels or having the two wheels located for better balance but we can manage it and should have no problem meeting our power needs. After the electrician finishes setting up the transfer switch we will be good to go.

Great so far haven't used it other than break in

We have not used this yet. We had an ice storm in January & our old Generator is to small for our new location. We upgraded to WGen14500 TFC and are planning on using Gasoline. Our electrician added a switch and a plug to the new home and we are ready to go for the next power outage. We hope this will last as long as our old 4000 watt Generac that is still running and works great. We had Natural gas at our old home and now we are all electric so we needed to get a larger generator. It was on a pallet when it was Delivered by FedEx and it took us borrowing our neighbors to small floor jack and some extra wood to get it out of the wood packing and the extra pallet. If you are buying this please be aware of the unpacking if you don't have access to floor jacks or a hoist. My husband put the tires on last once they got the wood out from under the generator because they were in the way. Once the generator was clear of all packing wood and on the supports of the wood we had he then added the tires and they slowly lowered the generator to the floor. I was worried I would not be able to move it but I had no issues at all I am 5'2 with the 2 handles and wheels. I should have taken pictures it was well packed. My husband has run it for 5 hours under little to no load per the instructions. For break in. Now we can move it outside and flip a few breaker and we are up and running the heat if needed.
