We were without power 9 days in feb 2026. I borrowed a generator from a friend and vowed I would get my own to be prepared for the next. After lots of research I decided on this one due to price, performance and reccomendations from several other owners. I love everything about it but the dipstick is a little awkward to replace for someone with a big hand but I can live with that, otherwise a great product!

After simple assembly; tires, lift bar, and attaching the battery, it started right up. I recommend High Octane gas (93 or above). Ensure you read the instructions, step by step. Oil is provided. It is very heavy. However, the trailer arms make it so much easier to move. :-). My first Westinghouse generator. I am completing a whole home load test (1800 square feet) it should do fine. Remote starter is very convenient, and starts the generator from a good distance.

Very good quality, very happy using it to run my house. In the case of an emergency and the reliability of Westin house far passes, other generators by far, thank you for creating such a great product. really great generator very happy that this is what we got

I purchased the WGen14500TFc about a month ago. We've had probably 5 outages in a few weeks so it was great to test it out. This thing is a beast. Connects easily, starts easily, and doesn't surge a bit when I put a heavy load on it. Great so far!

Just purchased, so I hope once our electrical work and hookup to gas is smooth. I will feel more at ease when we have power outages in our area, which seem to be more frequent and longer durations when it happens.

Having recently lost power twice at my home, I wanted to purchase a generator that had the capacity to run my entire home, mainly my air conditioning. I just powered my home (using propane) and everything worked perfectly. I was also concerned with voltage fluctuations depending on the draw and wanted something that was electronic safe. I am hoping as with all generators that I have never to use it, but feel grateful to have the ability to handle the required load of my home.

Happy with this product. After installing a soft start unit on our HVAC we can run our entire home on natural gas. I'm on oxygen 24/7 and this gives me great peace of mind. In our small town we loose power often. Initially after running there was a little gas dripping but stopped after running 10 minutes.

Did a ton of research and thrilled to get this up and running. Small shipping issue but Westinghouse support stepped right in and made everything right from day1. Upgrading from a wgen9500 for addiitonal power and intend to use as whole home backup.

Brand new out of the box, fuel leak from the “petrol pump”. Call to customer support same day and was told to send pictures and video. This was all on September 8th. Thinking Westinghouse would respond as promptly as someone answered the call, we have been nothing but disappointed. 4 days later still no response. I called again just now (Saturday) and was going to have to leave a message with a nice, honest lady. She said some customers complain they are still waiting for a response months later. I've replied to their email and get an auto response and new case number. I tried the customer service VIP email (forwarding the previous case number email) and received the same auto response with yet another case number. So, I'm three case numbers in, 4 days with no helpful response, and a 300lb paper weight in my garage. Guess we'll load this onto our truck, if we can, and return it to Sam's for a full refund. If they'd just respond and offer to send me a new part I might be willing to play mechanic and see if I can fix it. But alas, no response and I'll have to spend another $30 for the part and I just don't think it's fair I have to do that. Do better, Westinghouse!
