The reviews I read prior to my purchase were all positive but I was still pleasantly surprised on how rugged it is. I'm still in the break-in period but the voltage is steady when applying loads and it runs good. I'm confident it will run the house when needed.

I bought this after hurricane Helene to replace a 20+ year old Coleman 6250. I wanted one big enough to run my whole house, well and central air conditioner so I wouldn't have to switch stuff on and off which is fine for a dot or two but when you're without power for weeks that gets old quickly. Hope this one last like my Coleman has and it's nice that this Westinghouse has a 3 year warranty.

After some severe weather where we lost power all day it was time to purchase a generator. Wanted the natural gas option as I'm lucky enough to have a line ran outside off my deck. Package showed up on time in great condition. Set up is simple and this generator comes with every thing you need , even the natural gas line! For the price and ease of use I would definitely recommend. Little heavy(to be expected for its size) has wheels to roll and 2 adults would have no problem lifting this into a truck if needed to move from one site to the next. Im OK with it as I don't plan to move it much once it's in place just needed a big enough generator to power the house in case we have an outage again.

We had a very long power failure this fall. Had not great due to electric heating and gas fire place. No lights other than Coleman propane lantern. Decided to purchase a large portable generator. Unit arrived in great condition, battery was charged, filled with oil and gas. Pushed the start and it turned over, stopped, turned over, stopped. So then I opened the fuel valve. It started immediately. Started to plug stuff in, including an large elective impact, didn't even load it up. Getting a switch installed then power the house breaker box. No more cold dark winter nights.

I bought this beast to run my commercial floor grinding and epoxy business. The first 4 months it ran well. After that it would start up and whenever I put a load on the generator it would cut off. It's a pain to keep restarting the generator every 10 to 15 minutes because it keeps cutting off. Thank you Westinghouse for making my life harder than it really is. I can run 2 generac generators nonstop with no issues.

Bought this a few weeks ago to build metal horse fencing for a pen and paddocks on 22 acres. The remote start is an excellent feature. We had a great deal of fencing and fuel economy was very good. We have no trouble using the generator to power the fridge and the rest of our home whilst completing our build and waiting for the electricity. Completely recommend.

I purchased the WGEN 12000DF a week ago and have set it up and run it. Everything went great with the setup and running. The only issue I have is the lift bar is too short for the frame opening. This does not interfere with using the generator and I will check with Westinghouse as to a resolution to this. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and will recommend it to others.

I have used this generator twice and it performed flawlessly! It runs everything in my house not all at the same time but I can switch between breakers and run whatever I want. I also hooked it up to my propane tank so that I don't have to worry about lugging 5 gallon gas cans around.

Live on the gulf coast and am glad I have a generator to keep the house up and running during hurricane season if needed. It's way too hot down her to be with power and AC for too long. Love the fact that we can use our natural gas line and don't have to go hunting for gasoline.

We have three kids under 7 in Southeast Texas. Ever since the big freeze in 2021 we have had many extended outages from events like storms, derechoes, and hurricanes. We got by with a small generator but after soft start issues and multiple days over 100 degrees, we needed to upgrade to a more powerful generator and could not spend alot or justify a permanent backup generator. This 20kW SHOULD do what we need it to--power the big A/Cs and a majority of the house. We'll see as now I am waiting on an electrician to upgrade the receptacle from 30 amp to 50 amp. One thing to note is that this was delivered and left on a pallet. Getting the wheels on was not as bad as I thought but getting it off the pallet was a challenge. I do not own any pulley or lifting systems, so that kinda sucked. I am hoping this bad boy can handle keeping us functional. We just got back up and running after Hurricane Beryl--5 days no power. This Westinghouse 20kW was delivered AFTER we got power back...3 starts for not communicating how it would be delivered, missing washers for the wheels, and not having a chance for a trial. (Leaving this review gets me a Westinghouse 15ft powerstrip)
