Minor assembly went easily, added oil, connected the propane line, and started after about 2 seconds of cranking. Ran smooth, and quieter than expected. Was afraid for the worse when it arrived, as the packaging was destroyed by the shipper, but amazingly all the parts were there, and the wrap around frame protected the generator well. It arrived on end instead of on its base, but other than a couple minor scratches, it was undamaged. Great design, and well built! Really like the push button start, as well as the multi-function status meter on the front panel. It’s intended usage will be a back-up for the inevitable hurricanes here in Florida, so the bonus remote start key fob will allow me to cycle it as needed to conserve fuel, without having to trudge out in the weather to strop and start it. Really slick! It was specifically purchased due to its dual fuel capability, and unless it is an absolute emergency, it will never see gasoline. Have a 100lb tank of propane all ready to go, and know from experience that abstaining from gasoline will prolong engine life, not to mention never having to worry about propane going ‘bad’ if not used! Another plus for the product! 5 stars well deserved!

Purchased the WGen Dual Fuel 12KW/9.5KW generator on Tuesday and it was delivered free the following Monday. Assembly was easy even for a 60 y/o woman despite this 200+ lb beast. Filled oil. Hooked up propane regulator. Connected battery, turned on & started it up. One press of the start button & it automatically tried to start 3 times before firing up. Powered the main breaker & tested all the 120V outlets...all drawing power. Tesyed the remote key fob several times & she shuts off & restarts like a champ.. Will have an electrician install a transfer switch & interlock before it gets cold so I can have peace of mind this cold dark winter.

Did a lot of research, W/house gens had a lot of positive reviews and features. It is a heavy beast but was packaged very well and unpacked easily. Followed the quick start sheet and danged if it didn't start right up on propane. Used 2 space heaters and they didn't even phase it. Shut down, programmed the very convenient remote and then ran it on gas. Started right up on the second attempt (all automatic by the way). Tried the idle control and after a short delay it kicked in. Hoping if I do need it the reliability will be there. It ain't cheap but hopefully worth it.

I purchased this generator a while ago for when we get hit with a hurricane here in Florida. Hurricane Ian arrived. So I got to open the box, this general was packed so well it was unbelievable. No damage to the generator that I could see. Living in Lake Worth Florida the hurricane Didn’t give us a direct hit so we didn’t lose any power.I am still waiting to use this generator. I loveThe features of electric start, Remote start and Pull cord start. I recommend this generator because of the power it has and being dual fuel makes it beneficial

I'll be ready for the next extended power outage with the WGen14500tfc! I piped it up to natural gas and it started on the first attempt. After the 5-hour break-in period, I tested it to see if it would run my entire house and it did easily. This includes my 5-ton central A/C (with soft start), but I didn't run my electric oven or dryer, which I wouldn't do in a power outage anyway. Very happy with the purchase!

I bought this in October 2024. I received it in December because it was back ordered. I bought it for a home back up power supply. I just got my transfer switch installed and the generator is now ready for it's initial start up and break in. I love it so far but tomorrow 2/6/25 will tell me if I made a good choice. I will be using propane for fuel.

I use this generator daily on the farm. It works great. I like the low idle feature to conserve fuel. However, one of the 30a receptacles has gone out after 9 months, and on low idle it tends to burn out capacitors on compressors when using the low idle mode.

The product is diverse and provides exactly what i needed with gas and gasoline intake to run needed appliances and heat during outages where one realizes you are all by yourself. Only caveat which i took of one start is that it arrived with rust bumps in my case which i'll have overpainted easily.

After the last power outage, finally decided to go ahead and buy a generator for the house. After doing our research we chose the Westinghouse GEN 9500. The assembly and set up was very easy and everything worked perfectly after the initial setup. . Haven’t had to use it for an emergency yet but I’m ready!

Live on the gulf coast and am glad I have a generator to keep the house up and running during hurricane season if needed. It's way too hot down her to be with power and AC for too long. Love the fact that we can use our natural gas line and don't have to go hunting for gasoline.
