battery was dead on first use and would not take a charge the 240V plug on generator came undone and I couldn't plug into it generator vibrated and bolts were falling out of generator positive is its clean power to run some electronics that I couldn't on other generators

I bought this a month ago. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I research many generators and read reviews on them, including this one. So, I purchased this one. This generator is a powerhouse and it has many great features. If we ever have another storm like we did in Texas, I know this will be an asset to us, as well as other reasons to use it.

I wanted to be sure that I was prepared for the power outages in Houston Texas. We've experienced power outages in various conditions; winter and summer. I needed a generator that can handle powering my entire house and some. See, I have a neighbor that is a senior citizen that is taking care of her disabled daughter and I wanted a generator that could handle both houses. We both had an electrician to get our houses with the capability to connect to the generator and we were so excited to see both our houses running of of the Westinghouse Tri fuel 20000! I also turn on my A/C unit on this generator and it handled it like a champ! We were so impressed and believe that we are now prepared for any outage in our area. Thank you Westinghouse family. This generator is everything you think it is. It is large, and full of power. I purchased this generator primarily due to the fact that it has two 50A outlets. My home has two 150A panels side by side, and in order to make hooking a generator up easily and cost effectively, this was the generator for me. I have a 50A inlet per panel on the outside of my home, feeding a 50A breaker with interlock kit. This generator allows me to run everything in my home to include my 5 ton and 2.5 ton A/C units. The A/C units do have the Micro-Air soft start kits installed on them and I highly recommend them. If you are reading this review, then you know that losing power is inevitable, and the real question is how prepared are you? At literally less than 1/3rd the price of a whole home standby generator, this setup is an absolute no brainer. We have enough horsepower to power our home and manage the inconvenience. If you are on the fence, I can assure you that an investment in a generator is absolute peace of mind. This generator outputs < 5% total harmonic distortion which was a huge feature for me as well. If you are in the market for a large generator, you literally get what you pay for and this WGEN20000 is the cream of the crop. You will not be disappointed.

Just recently purchased the 12500w/9500w tri fuel generator, I haven't put it to work as of yet but will be shortly. After putting it together I tried to sync the key fob but was unable to get it to link up to the unit otherwise I may have given 5 stars. Will update after some use.

I just purchased this generator and I’m impressed with it’s features. The generator arrived in perfect condition and was easy to set up. I had it up and running on a LP tank in about 15 minutes. I’m enjoying the piece of mind knowing that it’ll be ready for the next power outage.

I bought the Wgen14500TFc for all the features it comes with such as oil filter, oil cooler, low THD and remote start. It also has all the hoses and connections for natural gas and propane. I will be installing a Easystart on our 5 ton ac as we also have to run a well pump and a septic pump. For as heavy as it is it is still easy to move around and is well built. Ready for the next hurricane now.

This is the second Westinghouse generator I have purchased this month. The dual fuel capability for monthly exercise of the engine was a key feature as well as the low THD. I have owner Generac and a variety of box brands and the workmanship and features for the price make them a high value purchase.

I would like to update my initial negative review but couldn’t locate it. Initially purchased a WGEN12000C in July of 2024 quit on met just 2 months later. Took it to one of their service centers in mid September of 2024 and after about 5 months and several replace parts Westinghouse finally agreed to just replace the generator. My original generator was no longer made so they sent me the WGEN14500C instead. I’ve had the new replacement generator for about 3 days now, so am going through the break in period and running on very light loads and so far so good. Fingers crossed, this generator will serve me well for many years to come as did my original generator that I had for over 5 years (WGEN9500DF). Getting a replacement was a very length process but I’m not sure if I could put all the blame on Westinghouse as I’m sure the repair shop has many other generators to work on as well.

This is a beast. Weighs over 500#. You're not going to casually pick it up & move it around. I bought it to run a welder through, & I'm going to have to find a plug-type converter. The welder is a 3 prong plug & the 50 amp receptacle is a 4 prong female. Seems solid and reliable, but haven't used it much yet. I have the WGen 9500 little brother & it has been great, have used it a lot.
