Best investment that I ever made! I am giving it 4 stars, because it takes a lot of countertop space surrounding it. It's best placed on an island because you need a full 360 degree access to the machine as well as on top. The tray does get filled with water quickly, even when I purge the milk steamer into a cup. Everything the equipment you need comes with the machine. I recommend buying a knock box (to empty the grounds) and a wet rag (to clean the milk steamer after every use). You can use your own coffee grounds, but when you make your fancy drinks, I found that coffee creamer does a better job than frothed milk for my personal tastes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this espresso machine. I’ve only had it for a little while, and so need some more time to really go through all the brewing options correctly, but as someone who wants to a) have a variety of coffee beverages and b) learn how to experiment with them at home, I think this is a great product to do so. It came in a big box but is not as overpowering on my countertop as I would’ve expected and still manages to look very compact, especially considering that it combines several products into one - not having a separate grinder and frother cluttered around this is a definite plus. The built-in scale is a bonus - I never actually used to weigh out my grounds, so I appreciate getting the benefit of the correct amount without having to do it myself, and I did notice that it pours a more flavorful espresso that way (who knew?). I also like that this prevents me from messing up my drip coffee. I do like the milk frother and have been so happy to be able to make and add cold foam to my drinks. My husband does say the there’s more bubbles in the foam than there should be but I think that’s more to do with my learning curve with this machine than with the product itself, although I will see how it goes over time. I’m deducting a point because I’ve previously been using an espresso machine that had an attached drip coffee pot, which was a great alternative for when we needed to make a larger amount of coffee quickly. This only makes one cup of drip coffee at a time, which is great for not wasting coffee, but not a good option for entertaining or being efficient. I’ll need to get a separate drip coffee pot regardless. Also, while it does take most of the guesswork out like it says, I still find myself taking more time up front to figure everything out. I really, really appreciate all of the guides Ninja provided for this product however - it’s definitely more than other companies have provided and going through them has actually been helpful. I’ll update this review once I’m more comfortable with the machine and have gone through all of the settings and options fully.

I went from a drip Coffee maker to the Ninja Luxe. Coffee tastes so much better and I use less beans than before. Forget Coffee shops, this is the way to go. Even my kids want to make my coffee now, plus there are so many ways to prepare coffee with it. The cleaning is very easy, most things either go into the dishwasher or are rinsed in running water as soon as they are used.

This is an amazing, life-altering machine! I can now make copy cat drinks from my favorite coffee shops that taste as good if not better than theirs! The only con I can think of is that I’m now drinking more caffeine than ever. Nice pick me up for the afternoon though. I’ve made every drink possible but especially love espresso and rapid cold brew.

I’ve been wanting an espresso machine that made a good drink without all the tinkering with settings. So far, the ninja luxe has ticked all the boxes and at an acceptable price point compared to other machines of similar features. I’ve been enjoying drinks a few times a day and getting the caffeine boost that helps me power through my work day. Really glad I upgraded to this!

I bought this less than 60 days ago. The funnel broke in like 1 month, plus the funnel alarm constantly comes on. It takes about 20 try’s to get it to work. Additionally, the gravity feed for the bean hopper needs constant assistance or it stops feeding. They need to take this poorly engineered machine back to formula and try again. I am on the replacement funnel list for the second time, first one sold out in minutes due to the extreme amount of people that already need a replacement funnel. I now own a large metal boat anchor…extremely disappointed

Love this machine - it makes me feel like a skilled barista every day and is truly all in one! We have tried so many different combinations of flavored syrups to froth with milk and top coffee and tea - so delicious! We are very excited to try making espresso martinis! This machine has the power of an entire coffee shop at the tip of your fingers and does not take nearly as much room on the counter as I thought it would for such an intense (in a good way!) machine - very impressed! Ninja strikes again with this 10/10 product!!!!!!!

This machine is phenomenal. We LOVE IT. Having just returned from Sicily, we needed to have something better than a Mocha expresso maker. I investigated the Breville machine, of course because it is supposed to be the machine by which all others are measured, I thought. My son has a Brevelle machine and a number of Ninja products. He said that the Ninja products are of excellent quality. I decided to buy the Ninja Cafe Luxe for two main reasons: 1. It's a Ninja, so the quality is without question, 2. it actually grinds the beans and delivers a precise weight using a balance for each cup. The barista technology creates the perfect drink each and every time. The automatic foamer feature with automatic flushing is a super great plus. This machine has thought of everything. It is well worth the money.

I’m in love!! My 17 year old children have also found their love for great espresso with this machine. It’s so easy and uncomplicated and I really appreciate that plus all of the areas for storing the pieces is simply brilliant. Follow the directions on running a couple of batches through before it dials it in and you’ll have the most amazing espresso ever! It shows you step by step what do on the screen!

Wanted to love this machine due to its advertised simplicity and ability to do regular “drip” coffee. But unfortunately this machine was not for me. No matter if I followed the recommendation from the machine or tried changing the grind size or brew temp it always tasted burnt. The burnt taste followed from espresso setting and in the “drip” coffee setting as well. Have tried various beans and cleared the grinder before putting the new beans. Though it is really simple to use personally some tuning is needed to the software to get recommended settings to not have the espresso or coffee tasting burnt. Ended up returning the product though still waiting for the refund.
