[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is only for deep cleaning carpets. You must vacuum first otherwise it will clump the dirt together and shoot it all over your wet carpet. This product does get carpets clean and removes stains.

Since I was a new operator, I did go over the carpet a second time with only water (not the soap) to make sure the solution had been extracted. I was glad I did.

I have owned a Bissell carpet cleaner for 26 years. Through they years, they have changed from big, heavy items that looked like a wet/vac that you had to hook to the sink to the new lightweight, easily portable ProHeat. I love this item and I especially appreciate the separate clean and dirty water tanks. The size is perfect to move and use. I also like the streamlined front which makes going under furniture easy. I've used it twice with great results. With multiple dogs and cats in my home, this is a necessity and I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love how it comes apart to clean hair and dirt out once you have finished cleaning the carpets, super easy. This machine seems to clean and dry well although it took me a long time to clean 1 room since the tanks are on the smaller side. I had to stop to empty and refill tanks frequently particularly the dirty water tank. I also wish the cleaner wasn't mixed with the water, so you could to do a clean rinse after the shampoo has been applied. Overall I am happy with my purchase and my carpets are cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product to clean my carpet. I have 4 bog dogs that have a lot of thick coats and shed a lot. This device is easy to clean after using. I haven't found a single vacuum cleaner that picks up all of the dog hair. So, dog hair does get sucked up when cleaning the carpet. It is extremely easy to rinse the dog hair out of the machine after using this carpet cleaner. This is so important because the dog hair could cause the machine to get clogged and not suck up any water on future uses. Works great!! I highly recommend this for dog owners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older model that cleaned well but after 10 years started leaking so decided to upgrade. The new unit cleans much better with many improved features like double brushes, more convenient and larger separate water and waste tanks. It also extracts more water out of the rug and is much easier to clean. What I don't like is the lack of a separate tank for the soap like the old one used that allowed various soap levels and a plain water rinse. The new unit requires soap to be mixed into the fresh water supply so if you want to rinse out soapy water you need to wash out the tank to get soap out and make a second pass with plain water. Personally I don't like leaving soapy water on the rug even if cleaned. This unit also does not shut off the rollers when you set it upright to use the hose attachment for stairs etc. it just lifts them into the housing but they still spin which seems wasteful and on higher pile would still rub. The old unit shut them off in the upright position. Overall this unit cleans very well and extracts way more water then the old unit it just seems they cut a few important features out from previous generation. I did have an issue with the unit when it arrived and I must say customer service was great and took care of it immediately, even during the pandemic.

These machines are really good at getting carpets clean, and the ease of use makes quick work of the job. Great for stains, but also for routine cleaning of the whole carpet.

But to me the real bonus was how easy it is to clean and the rinse tray. The suction was amazing and took no time for my carpet to dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner out performs all others I've ever rented or owned. The scrubbing power and quick shot of detergent is amazing. I cleaned my entire upstairs in a day and really took my time. The carpet didn't look that dirty but after emptying the water it pulled out I was convinced my vacuum had let me down. It pulled dog hair out of the carpet from years ago. After it dried the next day I was amazed at how soft and clean the carpet was and it even smelled amazing. I tried a competitors solution I had left over and it was not great. I'd definitely recommend sticking to bissell brand cleaner as they work better and smell amazing!

Absolutely best carpet cleaner that I have every used! I definitely recommend this to anyone with pets or children. I have rented and used the industrial carpet cleaners and this one by far is better. It is light weight, and very easy to push and pull. Love the extra spray button on it that targets tough stains. Love that it self cleans once your done so all you have to do is wash out the dirty water tank. It does not soak the carpet to the point you have to wait hours to dry. There has not been one stain this carpet cleaner has not been able to get out of my carpet. Best carpet cleaner that I have every bought and used!
