This machine kicks my old old one to the curb! Cleans so well, even on a sculptural area rug that always managed to look worse after I used my old machine. It's still going to take a few cleans to remove the ghost smell from my very dearly missed, elderly dog's long, slow, incontinent walks to the backdoor, but I am confident it will remove it all eventually. The difference in how my carpet looks and feels after one use, is just jaw-dropping, especially after cleaning weekly with my old machine (a 2-yr old competitor's model) and never coming close to this result. I's so easy to clean, too. Lovin' this machine.

This machine has saved my carpet and my budget. If you live with elderly cats, you need something that cleans efficiently. So glad I made this purchase. It has made easy work of cleaning carpet areas that I thought would require replacement. The attachments included are useful for cleaning upholstered furniture. This machine is powerful enough to clean the carpet and completely suction the water for quicker drying. A little noisy, but not so much that it scared the cats.

We have a large area rug in the living room. It gets vacuumed weekly, but with cats and dogs in the house I figured it needed a deeper cleaning. This Bissell did a fantastic job. The water I dumped was filthy. I'm so glad I bought this and it has been used once a month since purchase to keep our rug nice and clean.

I understand - it is on the expensive side. But it cleans so much better than my previous Bissell, and it dries carpets really well: carpets are semi-dry after deep cleaning. Worth the money for me!!

First off we have a Kirby, those that know know, and this still pulled hair up after. Set up was a snap literally, easy assembly it all snaps together. Now the dirty water tank does not fill like past models “to the brim” and stops under halfway full some people will complain I think it’s smart personally so there’s no risk of spill in any kind of circumstance top of the tank is a rubber stopper but seals fine…for now. Dirty water tank is fairly easily rinsed emptied, much easier and cleaner than past models and other brands. Now the biggest smart thing is the cover for shampooer brushes pops right off making cleaning it a breeze, best feature about it. I will say I noticed no heating of water like past models but as long as it cleaned I don’t care but also wasn’t specifically checking. However you could tell with an older model we had that it heats, this one not so much. Also seemed more efficient with water than past models. Great product so far can’t speak on longevity but works great out the box.

This carpet cleaner exceeded my expectations. Carpet that was replaced less than a year ago in a rental unit was ruined by a tenant and I was literally dreading another 5K expense. I decided to buy ProHeat 2 and give it a try. It is a miracle maker. I also purchased larger bottles of various cleaning solutions. All in all, I am extremely satisfied.

We are expecting a new puppy sometime this summer and we need to be prepared for those puppy accidents! Also, our old cleaner (not a Bissell) just bit the dust, so we have had the chance to try the new one out for our current puppy. So far, so good! Deep cleans, smells great, and much more quiet than the last one.

Pretty good machine overall considering I have used a shark I also own a rug doctor. This is a lot more convenient for quick cleans in between heavy cleans so that part I do like, but a couple of cons is doesn’t hold very much water as the dirty water container. I would also like it to have a little more suction power and the other opposite downside is you run through the carpet shampoo pretty often considering you have to put a minimum 4 ounces of cleaner solution. The last downside for me personally as I wish it kept the water hot. It’s better for cleaning power. on the upside, the brushes are great. They do pick up a lot of mess. I had a bunch of hair in my machine when I did a few cleans I didn’t realize there was that much on the floor even after I had vacuumed prior to cleaning it is also very easy to take apart and clean that is also a plus. It is also not the lightest machine when it is full with the water solution in dirty water collected. So overall, I would still buy it. It’s not a bad machine, but do I think it should be a little cheaper considering the machine quality. Sure I do think it could be a little less. Other than that, if you’re gonna be doing heavy duty cleaning, I would not recommend this machine again. I believe this machine is best used for light cleaning in between heavier cleaning.

I was really excited to get a carpet cleaner. You have to put hot water in it for it to be "proheat" but beside that misunderstanding in the name of the cleaner, it works great. The dirty tank fills up quickly, so it took about 6-7 empties to get a 10x10 living room with high traffic and a few stains clean. But it is so clean! Doing "dry" passes sped up the drying time. For small spaces, highly recommend

i previously owned an older Bissell, 1335 model. .. it was a great machine. The 3588f is not a good machine... its cheap.. even the name on the machine is a lie. proheat.. it does not have a heater at all. piece of crap
