Leaves a lot of water in the carpet. It took my area rug 3 days to dry. I finally had to take it out to my driveway and let the sun help it dry.

I understand - it is on the expensive side. But it cleans so much better than my previous Bissell, and it dries carpets really well: carpets are semi-dry after deep cleaning. Worth the money for me!!

i previously owned an older Bissell, 1335 model. .. it was a great machine. The 3588f is not a good machine... its cheap.. even the name on the machine is a lie. proheat.. it does not have a heater at all. piece of crap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love it! I had my carpet professionally cleaned when we moved in but there were black dirt marks left after it dried, the Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner brought those up immediately and left my carpet looking great and smelling fresh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best carpet cleaner I've ever used. I have three cats and one dog so I use it often. The cleaner itself is also extremely easy to clean and remove pet hair from the rollers which is a BIG DEAL for me. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello Bissell This Carpet cleaner is the best! We hope that it last longer than 1 year. We have purchased a carpet cleaner every year from " The other Guys" and they do not last longer than a year. We maintain a vacation rental and need to shampoo the carpets about every 2 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my carpet was ruined after we did a bathroom remodel. Our carpet is white and by the time they were done it was brown. It took two swipes in the heavy traffic area but now it looks better than it has in years!

I purchased the ProHeat after reading many reviews and comparing various machines to thoroughly clean carpet that had old puppy urine stains. I was not disappointed. I am very pleased with the ProHeat in how it works and ease of taking the brush component apart to rinse out, clean and dry. Also, the machine arrived very timely! I've had an all around good experience with Bissell!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a Champ! Our old Hoover which we thought was doing a good job, not! Our carpet is only a few years old, went with an earth tone because of dogs. We really didn't think it was that dirty. New life in the color of our living room. Really like the brush cleaning tool. Makes quick work of that task
