The only part I was not that happy I wish bisell would it do better job on the upper Part where it carries the clean water it's open and when you bend the machine water comes out a little. But no big deal I can deal with that I guess so far I like it hope it last.

I cleaned 9 oriental rugs ranging in size from 4x6 to 15x25 and in age from 50 to 80 years in less than 90 minutes and the look absolutely beautiful...thank you Bissell.

With 2 new Shetland Sheepdogs, it is really a must have, It works in tandem with our clearview swivel pet vacuum. Between teenagers and the dogs. Both get a workout, the proheat 2, really does a great job with heavy traffic areas of the carpet, and is really great with doggy accidents!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game changer for me. I had no idea how much pet hair was lurking in our carpet before using this the first time. We had rented machines previously, and I had used a smaller upholstery shampooer that really required too much effort...this got the job done, was simple and easy, and most importantly, effective. Also, it was easy to clean and re-assemble. So far, I am a huge fan!! My only beef, and it's a small one, was that I didn't realize initially that the fill button on the dirty water tank was so far down, and did get some overflow. I could be a little more obviously marked, perhaps. I cannot attest to the durability since it's still new to me, but I love, love, love this and carpets have never looked better.

I recently bought a puppy, which quickly made me realize that I needed a good quality carpet cleaner. Even with all the researching I did to get the urine stains out of the carpet, scrubbing by hand, there were still stains left on the carpet. There were spots on the carpet that I couldn't get off for 2 weeks. This Bissell erased all of the stains in the one use. I was so happy with my purchase! The reason I'm giving a 3 star review is because the roller belt broke during its 3rd use. I was incredibly disappointed. This was a large purchase for me, and now I'm having to use the warranty after owning it for only a few weeks. I hope the warrant works fast, and that this isn't a recurring problem in the future. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with this purchase. When the cleaner first arrived I used it within the first few days and cleaned all of my carpet. I was very surprised as to how clean the carpet got with just one pass. It is very easy to use and for the most part is not strenuous. It's just like vacuuming. If I were to make any changes to the machine I would do the following: I would have a heating element in the machine to keep the water at the desired temperature while being used. When using the hand attachment, I would also disable the brush/vacuum on the main unit when the hand attachment is plugged in. Lastly, I would make the electrical cord a little longer by about 5 feet. In all, I would purchase this machine again.

We confined our puppy to the family room, but of course didnt prevent all accidents. Cleaning up with the machine using the pet sanitizer was amazing. Puppy can no longer smell his accident spots, and he's doing well getting outside. It has helped potty training immensely because his scent is now outside where it belongs.
