We have purchased a carpet cleaner every year from " The other Guys" and they do not last longer than a year. We maintain a vacation rental and need to shampoo the carpets about every 2 months.

I have had the carpet professionally cleaned several times by different companies and was never really satisfied with the quality of the service. Great product, easy to use. Carpets are so clean. We have a berber carpet and it worked perfectly. Very happy with this purchase. It spits out glops of pet hair, but apparently that is normal for carpet cleaners. We just picked it up and threw it away. Beware of making sure not to run over the power cord as it will melt. After cleaning all our carpet, I noticed the power cord had melted and the machine was spewing out black cord crumbs. Excellent BEST A+++++ customer service - they replaced the carpet cleaner immediately! Can't wait to test it on the rug.

Recently, I purchased my third rug cleaner, my second Bissell: the ProHeat Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner. For the past thirty-five years, my carpets have been under the paws of 4 Labrador retrievers, 2 Corgis, a pug, and a French bulldog as well as 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. This floor cleaner has been the best, by far, of the three cleaners. Even in areas that the dogs don't frequent, this Bissell model picked up hair that I had no idea was even there. However, the most spectacular cleaning job was on my area rugs at the front door and those in the kitchen. After muddy shoes and paws all spring, these rugs look like new again even though they're at least 20 years old. Wait, wait, here's the big "surprise!" When finished cleaning the rugs, there is a plastic base on which to put the Bissell ProHeat 2X. Add water to the base and turn on the power for 6-8 seconds. Almost all the dog hair comes off the cleaning roller and into the plastic base. Dump out the water and you're finished. What could be easier? I am recommending this Bissell cleaner wholeheartedly. I know you won't be disappointed.

Easy to use, great directions included(not just online) Easy to take apart and cleaning after using It did a good job; only drawback filaments of carpet clogged roller head so I had to take apart and clean many times while shampooing and it was a fairly small area I was cleaning.

The clean shot is one of my favorite tools because it really targets those tough stains. I recently got a puppy that quickly made me realize I needed a good quality carpet cleaner. The user guide is easy to read. Cleaning the machine like the user guide said is also quite easy as well. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the roller belt broke during my third use. I was really disappointed! I'm hoping that the warranty acts fast, and that this won't be a recurring problem in the future.

I have used in quite a few times since purchasing, and it pulls up the tough stains and dries quickly. The best thing about the Pet Pro Cleaner is that it is not bulky like other carpet cleaners and is extremely durable. It comes with a mesh bag to store detachable tools quickly. It is also easy to clean and comes with tools to make the process of maintaining the product effortless. I'm so glad I can keep my home clean while doing as little work as possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well after a hick-up with my order I got my machine just a little later than expected. I've had a previous Bissel machine that worked great for years but recently died so I decided on this unit. My first impression of the unit as I assembled it was that it is built well. I like the improvement over the old bladder system my old machine had. A clean water and dirty reservoir are much easier to manage and clean. They are easy to remove and replace. As well as just pouring the formula directly into the water reservoir instead of the separate container is super easy. The machine is lighter than the old one so is easier to maneuver and carry to put away. Performance wise, I think it may out perform my old machine slightly, as it was a good machine as well. I have yet to use the hand tools so unfortunately I can't speak to that but noticed they're very similar to the old ones. So I would expect similar performance which was good. So, I only gave this machine 4 stars because I found that it would leak / drip water when turned off. The first couple times removing the dirty tank it was my fault as you need to get used to the speed and angle you should use when removing it so it doesn't spill. I was getting it down by my 3rd try. However, even when not removing it I found a small amount of water where the machine was sitting. Not sure what's going on there, could be operator error ;) The cleaning of my carpets turned out great. I really like the 3 cleaning options as the express clean was a great option for those lighter traffic areas and or quick cleans when you want the carpet or rug to dry quickly. I hope this unit lasts as long as my old machine!
