[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 kids, which means there's a good amount of dirt/etc in our carpets. This machine did a great job cleaning our carpets (I've done 3 rooms and a hallway so far)! Carpets look new and feel like it, too! It does take a decent amount of time to vacuum the water back up (I used the deep clean setting), but other than that, makes carpet cleaning a breeze!

ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner does a great job maintaining carpet and easy to use and clean ,,, even fer an ol' fart!!! [Also have a smaller version I use for kitchen mats and hallway runners.] Bissel gets it done!

Used mainly to clean the years of walking and a few spilled drinks on our cream-colored carpets. Getting it assembled was easy enough, with just one moment of hesitation because pushing the carrying handle into place felt as though the plastic would snap- it did not. Using the Anti-bacterial cleaning sample and Max Clean mode for the first clean lifted the slightly grey footpath on the back entry carpet as well as a coffee stain. Very happy with the clean and dry carpet within 12 hours. Wish I had taken a before photo. The cleaning routine for the machine after use seemed to have a lot of steps, but was thorough and should go faster as I get familiar with it. Haven't used all the accessories yet, but excited to use the stair tool. This model/package from the Bissell website had the best number of extras for the price. No regrets with this purchase and the best tip is vacuum the area very well before starting.

Its great, goes deep into the fibers of the Carpet and it really gives it a deep clean and dries quickly with a Box fan on it, only wished it was bigger to hold more water. Lol. Hair wraps around the brush roll, so I have to use a small scissors and cut them off. You can also pretreat spots or any area and then clean it.Easy to assemble, just follow instructions in the manual, I am Just figuring it out.. A big plus I was able to take it apart to clean it, just under running water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If 3.5 stars was an option, that would be my choice: B-. As a former owner of a Bissell ProHeat Plus, some things are better, but not everything. It cleans well, and the machine itself is easier to clean. It seems lighter, and I like that the attachment hose isn't permanently attached onboard. The water tank system is better too. However, I would pay $100 more for a product that: 1) was designed so the rotating brushes stopped when using the hand attachments, and 2) didn't leak out the bottom when using the hand attachments. As it is, I place the unit in a large plastic pan when spot cleaning. I would also like about 4 more feet of hose for the hand attachments, although that's not a huge deal. It would just be nice to be able to go more than halfway up a flight of stairs.

We cleaned the carpet for different friends and family members and they were amazed how well our machine cleaned their carpet. One of these carpets was thirty years old and it made it look new again without any spot treatment. The people who saw how this machine cleaned were also amazed at the affordable price of the machine. The machine is well worth the price we paid for it. The machine works better than what the so-called professional carpet cleaners use. I would definitely purchase this machine again.

This is a great carpet cleaner....I would say the best i have ever used...simply put in hot water and solution, turn it on, and watch the magic as the dirty water flows back into the discharge tank.....I would not have thought my carpet was so dirty because I vacuum often....And cleaning the machine is literally a snap as parts just click into place....no problems here..

Our Border Collie is three years old and does not have accidents but does track dirt in from outside so we decided to buy one. After seeing reviews of the ProHeat we thought it was worth purchasing. The Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution is an excellent value and went beyond our expectations in performance. It's important to follow instructions and get your brain around how carpet cleaners work and use common sense accordingly. You really want to vacuum and pre-spot any trouble areas before using the ProHeat. The ProHeat applies cleaning solution over the top of the twin rollers while the trigger is depressed (going forward). Simply release the trigger and reverse direction (back up) while the ProHeat extracts the dirty solution into the waste container. Better to go slower while backing up. You may see small lint fuzz accumulate as you are cleaning. This is typical. If the Nozzell cover picks up excess lint, remove and clean it with the included Clean Out Tool. Easy! Our carpets looked great and were dry to the touch within a few hours. Cleaning the ProHeat is quick and easy because the Nozzel and Brush Cover are a snap to remove. Simply flush these out in utility sink or bath tub. Again, follow the instruction manual.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have porchased this lovely machine to clean some area rugs I have inherited from my MIL. It worked like a charm! The rugs were quite neglected due to my MIL's health issues for several years, and even after hard vacuuming, the ProHeat carpet cleaner still extracted a ton of dust trapped in the fibers. I had to change the water tanks quite often, but that was very easily done. This machine is a dream!
