We have creamed colored carpet in only two rooms of our house - the rest is tiled - and a Chocolate Lab who loves to rub and roll on the carpet after he has eaten. He also takes an occasional nap in those rooms. He doesn't have "accidents" in the house. What I needed to clean from the carpet was the dirt and oil that had accumulated from his coat. I knew they needed cleaning, but had no idea how dirty they were until I used the ProHeat 2X Cleaner. My plan now is to use it about every 3 months to keep them looking like new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this carpet cleaner. I've only used it once, and for the most part it seemed to work well. But one section of carpet in the room I cleaned became saturated, and it took over 48 hours to dry, and that was with 2 fans running constantly. I am not aware of doing anything different on this area than in the rest of the room, so I'm not sure what caused this. Honestly, I'm not looking forward to using it again because of this, in case the cleaner is malfunctioning.

Better then pouring water on the floor........would prefer separate container to auto mix cleaning solution and a wand spray nozzle to spray spots instead of spray coming from carpet cleaner. I picked the Pro 2X Revolution because it does perform best in my opinion.
