[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used household carpet cleaners in the past, and haven't been impressed. Typically we hold out and spring for a professional cleaning once a year. However, with 5 kids in the house it was getting tough to let it go an entire year between cleanings. We purchased this machine thinking that we would have the carpets professionally cleaned, and then start using this to try and maintain throughout the year. We received it and used it right away. I was pleasantly surprised how well it cleaned the carpets. MUCH better than machines we had borrowed or rented in the past. So well in fact, that we aren't planning on having the professional cleaners come this year at all. Since the cost of the machine is roughly equal to a single professional cleaning, I consider this money very well spent.

It's definitley designed for a pet household and has fool proof ways of dealing with all of the pesky fur that comes up deep from the carpet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After adopting an untrained intact male dog I was afraid I'd be forever cursed with that leftover disgusting urine smell. I used this not only on the carpet but the tile and I LOVE it! I even use it in the bathroom after the baby makes a mess with bath time. It's been easy to clean and assemble the accessories. I used the upholstery cleaner and it was great. The only complaint I would have is the cord...I wish it was retractable bc sometimes you don't want the cord dragging in the mess.

I haven't used the attachments yet but will soon for my car! So happy and recommend this to everyone

After many hours of investigating I decided upon this one. Glad I did. It seems to be stable and cleans very well. I have bought a lit of Bissell product thru the years and have always been happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After vacuuming my carpets thoroughly, my Bissell proheat 2X was able to clean the heavy traffic patterns as well if not better than the professional service that was hired a few years ago. It also picked up a lot of hair from my dog that the vacuum had left behind. It did such a good job that I ended up buying a new vacuum after seeing what the old one had left behind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Bissell carpet cleaner that was about 15 years old with this one. I went with Bissell after replacing my vacuum with a Bissell Pet Power Groom and being in awe of how dirty my carpets were. Even with daily robot vacuum and 2x/wk Bissell vac and carpet cleaning every 8wks or so, the stuff that came out of my carpet with this new machine blew me away. The pictures you see in reviews aren't from lighting or shadows or wet vs dry carpet, this machine digs deeper than any I've ever used. I will probably buy my parents one for Christmas I loved it so much. The only con (like ANY carpet cleaner though) is that the tanks don't hold more than they do - but unless you use the big green machine you'll never do a room on one tank. I used the Max setting for the first cleaning with this machine and the carpets dried in about an hour because the suction is just that good. I also used about 1/2 the cleaning solution recommended because I wanted to be sure I would have enough of the sample bottles to do my whole room (20' x12' - max setting, set in stains on path between stairs & kitchen). My only advice: buy extra shampoo when you order it because you're going to want to use it everywhere and the sample bottles are small (I ordered mine during covid so going to the store is a pain right now).

Our carpet is only a few years old, went with an earth tone because of dogs. We really didn't think it was that dirty. New life in the color of our living room. Really like the brush cleaning tool. Makes quick work of that task
