I was does disappointed at first that this didn't have an option to let me switch to RINSE only mode like my 2013 model did (which meant I could rinse without having to empty and clean the top canister of the unit of the rug shampoo. However, this model is SO much easier to clean by being able to easily take apart the roller and suction section that it negated my disappointment and I will happily alter my previous rug cleaning procedure for the easier end cleaning!

With the old shampooer you could still feel sand in the carpet. My new Bissell pick it all up. So much faster and easier then the old shampooer. I read the reviews that said it wqould not pick up pet hair, which is true, but it does pull it up to the top of the carpet where I can pick it up by hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted this to be the best carpet cleaner but it isn't my older Hoover removes so much more dirt and water that is sprayed on and I was not impressed with the cleaners for pet cleanup. It says not to use an oxidizer on pet urine stain, they set in even worse and not to use hot water, it also sets the stain. I will use it for maintaining my carpet.
