Had an older Bissell shampooed that always did a better job than any company or rented machine. This new model does the best job on carpets than the earlier model. Just go slowly and see the results for yourself. The cleaning attachment for the brushes and vacuum portions works so well it looks new after the cleaning!

Getting everything in one box was helpful and the bag to put the attachments in made it easy to store and find what I needed. It was also a better deal to buy from the Bissel site rather than my local big box home store.

I am beyond impressed with this product. I would highly recommend it if you have carpeted stairs and carpeted floors. I used to have the smaller portable version of the carpter cleaner from Bissell and I alos loved it but it does not comapre to this beast. This is so easy to operate and can do a truly deep clean of the carpet. I recently bought a house and the carpeted floor needed some serious love. The previous owners did do their best to clean the house but still having two kids and a pet probably made this carpet change color from years of embedded dirt that could not be lifted. Not a problem with the tool. I used it 4 times on it so far and the carpet is already as close as possible to the original color with minimal spots that need some harder work and pretreatment. With no pretreatment and the carpet had a serious transformation already and I am convinced that with some extra effort it will look brand new at no time! The color of the water in a macroscopically clean carpet was black with that machine but as gross as this can be this is what makes this so effective and I am super impressed and wish I had bought one sooner even for my apartment's carpeted floor. I love the convenience of the pet and upholstery tool that can reach very small areas and I use it for targeted spots, the stairs and upholstery without worrying about any hair and debris due to the dry and wet mode. I would highly recommend overall this machine!

This carpet cleaner did a fantastic job of cleaning up carpet that hadn't been cleaned in 2 years! It removed pet stains and animal fur without any issues. The cleanup process of the machine takes a little bit of time, and the dirty water tank fills up before the clean water tank is empty. All in all, I am very pleased and would recommend this product to friends and family. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shipped quickly and assembly was pretty easy. It worked to clean my carpet nicely. The odor is gone. Yay! I did have an issue with the rollers not seeming to roll and submitted a question on line. i never got a response. I figured it out though. They were spinning but, it just doesn't look like it. It was good practice to take the machine apart and see how to put it back together to clean it thoroughly. But, a response would have been nice. Thus only 4 stars for this review. It is also too soon to know how this cleaner will stand up to the test of time and use. I'm hopeful.

This is a great cleaner and unlike any other cleaner I've used in the past, this one is very user friendly. I'm less likely to spill dirty water and make another mess. The hose attachment works great for cleaning my furniture as well!

I am soooo disappointed in my new purchase, in fact to tears! I've used it TWICE and the rollers have burned and melted! I can't afford after the the initial investment to replace these! Please give me some reassurance that at minimal you can provide some explanation as to why this has happened, and what I might do to rectify the problem!
