Between the leg lifts, hair balls, accidents, and male cat orneriness--my carpet was a disaster. After getting two quotes of over $300 to clean my carpets by professionals, I agreed to let my daughter try the Proheat 2X Revolution Pet Pro. She borrowed one from her future mother in law (who has more pets than I do). Wow! What a difference! It is so easy to use and, more importantly for me, so easy to clean up after the hard work is done. I have been able to keep my carpets clean and smelling fresh better than ever before. It's a great product! Be sure to use the recommended cleaning, sanitizing and deorderizing products with this machine.

I used the BISSELL® Oxy Stain Destroyer Pet for Carpet| 1784C and pretreated the really bad areas and then used the 2X Pet Stain & Odor Upright Carpet Cleaning Formula (60 oz.) | 99K5C in the machine. My carpet turned out brand new. I also really like being able to see the inside parts as it is see through and easy to clean. Well worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had borrowed an old carpet cleaner and thought it did a good job, but as soon we used our new Bissel ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner we soon realized our carpets were not that clean. The Bissel was well worth the purchase, our carpets have never been cleaner and they even smell better too!

I love the hose is detachable andit has a tray to store and clean it in! Though it's inconvenient, the brushes at the bottom never quit turning so when you're using the hand piece, you can't leave the machine stationary of it will burn your carpet and the bristles with start coming out of the brush. Over all I really like it.

So far this machine is great at maintaining my carpet clean and for quick spot cleaning. The only negative is when using the cleaning tool it scratched the front clear plastic of the Bissell machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use the machine on deep plush carpet. Not happy that fresh/clean solution was being sucked into dirty reservoir on initial forward passes before it could be scrubbed into the carpet. Seems a waste of cleaning solution. For best results on deep clean I apply solution on a forward pass, lift the brushes and reset for the next part of the area and repeat until I've covered the area, allowing the solution scrubbed into the carpet to sit for 10-20 minutes. I then start over making backward passes without applying solution, only brushes and suction. I finish by starting over and making backward passes across the area 90deg/perpendicular from the first two passes, again with only brushes and suction. I really think a way to turn on/ off suction, similar to the trigger for solution would be much better.
