My dogs had used the bathroom in one of my bedrooms. I tried several carpet products and a carpet cleaner but the smell was still there. I was looking for a carpet cleaning machine and read the reviews on several. The best one was the Bissell Revolution Pet Pro (ProHeat2x) so I purchased it. This machine is great. When the carpet dried the carpet looked new and it smelled great. It's also very easy to clean the machine up when your finished. I love this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our previous (non-Bissell) carpet cleaner died, we borrowed our friends' Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro to finish the job. It was so much better than the old one that I went back and re-did the rest of the house so it was all just as clean! We bought this to clean our new house's carpet and it pulled up nearly all of the stains left by the seller. We have 2 cats and the pet upholstery tool works like a charm for messes on furniture. I love how quick and easy it is to use compared to our old cleaner, and that it has a cleaning tray to clean out the brushes after using so it doesn't collect buildup (and the tool holders on the side are a bonus). I also am excited to use the stair tool, as I have no idea how I would clean them without it! I wish that the dirty tank could hold as much water as the clean tank so I don't have to empty it as much (I plan to do our entire basement next but I know it will take forever to clean since I have to run upstairs to fill and empty the tanks). The only other issue is that the hole for the screw on the back wasn't properly drilled through so we had to make one ourselves in order to assemble. Overall, I LOVE this machine and all it has to offer!

I can't believe I have waited so long to get this. My 8 month old lab puppy has gone through two rounds of giardia which created some awful messes in the basement when he was too sick to get outside in time and he tends to like to roll in the mud anyway, so tracks in dirt constantly. My carpet has definitely taken a beating in the last couple months. My carpet is a bit light in color and didn't think a home carpet cleaner could do the trick, but finally got to the point where I was desperate. I just did my whole house and I can't believe it got all the stains out of the carpet. And now I don't have to wait until I can get the carpet cleaner to come or go rent something--I can just tackle the messes as they occur. If you have a dog, please don't wait as long as I did to save yourself! It is worth the money! It's a good size, not too much bulkier than a normal vacuum. I found if you follow the guidelines and go slowly with your passes you get the best results. The dirty water canister does fill up fairly quickly if you are in deep clean mode. I switch back and forth between modes as the quick clean mode definitely gives you more time before you have to empty the dirty water. If you have the clean water tank full and need to carry it around, you will find its a bit heavy so if you can move it to the floor you want to clean and then fill it, that is a little easier.

I received this machine for Christmas thinking it would be great for me because I have 6 dogs. Filling up water tank was a challenge because it does not lay flat to measure water and cleaner. I had to purchase the bare floor part individually. The machine is very heavy and hard to maneuver on hard flooring. It's very loud. I had to do at least 10 run overs on a stain before it cleaned. The water doesn't distribute evenly when you push on the trigger. It leaks water when it's turned off. I am not impressed at all. I have used it once so far. If I can send it back for a refund, I will. If not, you will never get my business again.

Does an excellent job. Easy to use. We have an aged dog that has problems. We also have an aged cat and he leaves us surprises. This unit did the job. We had professionals come in and this had better results. Rooms smell clean and refreshed. The negative and not really that bad. But the tanks are a little smaller then I would like.

I got this machine for my two year old home, with a lot of carpet. Having rented machines at the supermarkets, more than a few times, decided I should have my own. Did a little research online and decided on this machine. It was easy to put together, easy to use, and it did a good job on all my carpets. For what you pay to rent other cleaners, I think it was a good investment, and would recommend it to all my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a washable rug, but not even multiple washes in the washing machine can get rid of the dirt and grime that builds up on my dog's favorite place to lay. I about cried because I thought my expensive rug was ruined. Then I went and got this Bissell and it SAVED MY RUG. Worth every penny! We used the whole bottle of disinfectant that came with the purchase and it took a few times, but the rug looks like I just bought it.

Only the power cord is to short had to use an extension cord and my roller cover doesn't seem to come off to clean. Had to use the stick to get the hair out. That was disappointing. Other than those 2 things worked great.

I received this product from pinchme free to review. I have dogs so this was perfect for me to try to see if this Bissell machine really works to remove pet stains on my carpets. This was easy to set up and it has a special feature for pre treating which to me made all the difference in removing pee stains that were embedded in the carpet, machine is lightweight which is great and it fits under furniture, another plus point that made it easier to use, dried in about an hour! I would recommend this machine to anyone that has pets!

Had a Bissell before that did a good job but every time we used it we had to have it serviced to unclog the water dispenser so I was leery of buying another one. After reading reviews we decided to take a chance. and we are so glad we did. We bought a ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro a year ago and used it to clean carpets and rugs. It did such a good job we decided to test it by using it to clean an old carpet in the garage. Now the garage carpet doesn't need replacing. A few months later we decided to clean furniture as we live in the desert and dust settles on furniture all the time. The Revolution Pro Pet did a terrific job. Pieces that didn't look dirty became clean. We are very happy with this machine. Fast forward to carpet cleaning this year and "Oh no!" our wonderful carpet cleaner leaks. We call Bissell Customer Care and explain our problem. They are very nice and walk us through a couple of problem solvers that did not work and decided to send us a new Revolution Pet Pro. They honored their 5 year warranty with no hassles and we have happily finished cleaning our carpet, rugs, and furniture for this year. The ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro is the best carpet cleaner we have ever owned. It has cleaned every thing we have asked it to.
