I Purchased this product because I recently moved into a new home that has almost all carpeting, before I was in a home with hardwood floors so I didn't really have a use for carpet cleaner. I also have used it to clean my mothers small Apartments carpeting. This is a great product to clean either small area or a very large area, and clean it effectively

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time I owned it I loved it of how easy it was to use and how the cleaning modes helped got the quick jobs to the down and dirty ones. However I let a friend borrow it and they never gave it back. Bought another brand one and it sucked and broke and finally bought this one again and fell in love all over again.

This machine cleaned areas I thought were beyond help. We had 2 senior dogs, sadly we had to put one down in May, my 12yr. old still living has not made the messes that the two created on our floors, but that's not to say it won't happen. This machine has done an amazing job cleaning our carpets, we have a 2 story home, I've tackled almost every room and this machine continues to amaze me. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone, yes it's heavy, but only when the cleaning water is full. I took off one star due to the frequency in which both tanks need to emptied and/or filled, but I still believe this machine will be in my home for many years to come.

I used hot water with the carpet cleaning formula. I had some really tough stains on my carpet for years, and this upright carpet cleaner is amazing!!! Best carpet cleaner for the $. I couldn't be happier with this product and I highly recommend to anyone who loves lightweight upright carpet cleaners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum doesn't wash the carpet: It sprays the water, but doesn't collect back a lot. You can't just push spray, you actually have to squick it. It is heavy and not easy to use and on top of that it is very noisy. Wish I made better choice. Not recommend at all.

This unit does an exceptional job of cleaning and I totally appreciate the changes in my ability to quickly clean the Bissell! my old machine was difficult to get the pet hair out of various parts of the cleaner and to get debris out of the brush bar shield. Now all the parts pop off quickly so you can carry them to the sink rinse them out and get back to cleaning.i even clean them out several times during the cleaning process. It is also lightweight and easy to use. Attachments are very simple to use and clean very well. I love this machine!

Ergonomically good except the fill lines on the solution tank are hard to see. Cleaned dirty carpet on deep clean setting. Used 6 tanks full of solution before dirty water tank was full. Where did all that shampoo go? The fill lines should be made more prominent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using our Bissell! We also have 2 pups that get excited and like to use the bathroom on our carpet and its perfect for that! But what I am just in awe at is, our machine broke after a few months. Not sure how but I contacted them expecting them to maybe replace the part. They looked for a service provider near us and there weren't any. The lady told me they are going to send us a new one. Which is great! Since we haven't had it that long I kind of expected that. But then she said we just need to keep any extra parts from our old one and then disregard anything we couldn't keep! I thought for sure we would have to send it back. And on top of it all they did not only replace my machine itself but sent my entire previous order with them! The attachments, cleaners, everything!

I've owned this machine for 7 months, I bought it because I had 3 cats and a new puppy and she was making accidents on the carpet and I needed something on hand at all times because getting a rental machine from the store was just so inconvenient for something that happened quite frequently. My puppy is long potty trained but having this on hand for any spills, vomit or stains from dirty paws from the animals is amazing and I can't imagine my life without this machine now. I owned a previous model Bissell but it wasn't geared towards "pets" and the Bristles got filled with hair entirely and they stopped spinning completely and I didn't know for multiple uses. This machine never clogs for me and the bristles never stop spinning and it lifts hair and dirty with ease, I use it on the entire carpets 2 times a week and have had no issues with lack of performance, I definitely recommend this machine!
