This unit does the carpet and the carpeted stairs. I had the little green machine before which was a good unit but too small for the task. the Pro-heat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 2007 more then meets the needs. it has made a world of difference on the carpet and the stairs. because the last cleaner was a rental it has been awhile since the carpet and stairs were cleaned. I let some one borrow the green machine and it did not survive their use. this pro-heat 2x has been great to use, easy, the tools for the stairs are great and easy to use, but keep your finger off the trigger it is very sensitive. Also the clean up of the unit is very simple and quick. get the right tool for the Job. For us this Pro Heat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 2007 is the right tool for the Job.

Amazing machine! I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats that all love to make a mess... from spills to pet accidents. Bissell pro heat 2x revolution pet pro is a must have. My rugs and couch have never looked so clean. I didn't know how dirty my rugs were until I saw how much dirt came out. It is very easy to use. A big plus is how easy it is to clean after use. This is my new go to cleaner. I receive this product in exchange for my honest review from PINCH ME.

I understand that I am to use hot tap water, but I was just told by customer support that this model does not actually heat the water or maintain the heat. ProHeat? Really? Please don't advertise this any longer if the actual heating portion was discontinued from the last model. Please stop misleading customers that purchase your product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box cannot install the screw into the machine. The hole for the screw wasn't even made could look in there with a flashlight. Really don't want to have to return the whole thing and tear it all apart just for simple whole missing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 dogs 3 cats that come in/out all the time through the doggy door, so needless to say my carpet gets very dirty. The pro heat 2x worked great cleaned carpets better than any other machines I have had in the past, super easy to push, and so easy to clean once finished! My previous one was very hard to get clean you pretty much had to take apart with screw driver to get to brushes to clean. This one you just lift off 2 different things and your done! The only con is the dirty water tank is not big enough but with all the other pros I can live with that.

I had an old Bissell pet carpet cleaner that finally stopped sucking up fluid. This one was a replacement. I was happy that this one is lighter and much easier to clean the dirt out of. I like having separate clean and dirty tanks but they are so tiny that I'm constantly stopping to empty and fill. My biggest disappointment is that Bissell no longer makes a machine that has a separate soap dispenser. I really loved being able to shampoo and rinse all at one time. Having to completely empty the soapy water tank and then refill with clean water and start all over is annoying. This machine also does not suck up fluid as well as my old one did when it was new and working well. I wish I could get it fixed.

I was lucky to be picked to sample this machine by Pinch Me! The assembly was pretty easy to put together by myself. Instructions were easy to follow, the machine was super easy to use. The machine did a good job cleaning the carpet and getting up stains. We have a high traffic house with 3 kids and 2 animals. I would recommend.

Our carpets are 16 years old and are showing their age.We have used the rental cleaners before but they didn't clean nearly as good as advertised. I got this Bissell thru my rewards program through my employer.It didn't cost anything so I figured it can't be worse than the others we have tried. When it arrived I couldn't wait to try it out. Assembly was super easy. I took it to the high traffic area of our house for a test run. I wasn't expecting anything more than the results we had gotten in the past. Boy was I wrong! Just a few passes back and forth and the results were eye popping! This thing really works as advertised! Can't wait to do the whole house now and our furniture. Buy this! You won't be disappointed.

Lightweight, easy to use, easy to add an empty the water. I have lost strength in both my arms due to pinched nerve in my neck. But this steam cleaner was very easy to maneuver while using. The only con is the button you hold down to spray the water, wish it was easier to hold down. The way it is put a sore on my finger because it is so hard to hold down.

I bought the Pet Pro Heat 2X after reading the reviews and I am thoroughly impressed with the product. I am glad to be able to submit a positive review (for a change) and compliment the design team on the integration of the mechanical and ergonomic features. We have nine cats and my wife has allergies, so I use the machine monthly - should probably use it more frequently. Even though we vacuum frequently, the Pet Pro extracts an amazing amount of embedded hair. The design features allow me to clean the tanks and brush roller assembly very efficiently. This makes the entire process of cleaning extremely efficient. I have owned other carpet cleaning machines - even a couple that were rated very highly - but I can state without reservation the Pet Pro is the absolute best machine I've ever used. Thank you for building a product that lives up to its claims and is also affordably priced.
