Shampooed our bedroom carpet. Did an excellent job. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of many cleaning solutions without Scotchgard! I am familiar with Scotchgard, but it is not pet friendly. We did find the antiseptic solution without it, so used that. No problems here with stains, we have a very well trained cat :) We were considering renting a Rug Doctor, but our local merchant said that they do not sanitize the rental machines as they are returned. That bothered me because I would have no idea what they had been used to clean. (I told the cashier what if someone returned it after using it on a flea infestation - the guy behind me in line chimed in "or bedbugs, or a meth lab"! Wow!

I received the BISSELL® ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner from Pinchme in exchange for my honest review. After using it for the last month, I can truly say that it works wonders with pet stains. I have four cats, and they throw up and have accidents on the carpet. Before the Bissell, we would spend hours trying to scrub the carpet clean and then vacuum over it later. Now we can tackle the stains all at once. The CleanShot Pretreater targets and attacks the pesky spots, and the pet urine eliminator and oxy formula are like superheroes working to save our carpet! The wet and dry modes are great variations, and the overall product is very easy to put together and use. It took my husband about 10 minutes to assemble it, and it is light enough for me to use with ease. I am very grateful to have this innovative new product. Thanks Bissell! My kitties are happy and I am too!

Worked ok for the first few months, although the suction wasn't great from the start. Continually had to unclog it. Then the belt for the beater bars broke. Repaired that and then the suction stopped. From what I can see this machine is sealed plastic and not made to be repaired. Total waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this cleaner as I has used a competitors' for years and decided to make a change when it aged out after 12 years. I liked all of the features on this model and didn't see any downside. I purchased this cleaner 01.03.22, and have attempted to use it on four occasions. Each time even more disappointing than the previous. It takes me months to get the patience to try again. It does not suck the water into the dirty water tank in spite of feeling the suction coming from the red filter the tank rests on. Yes, the float stack moves freely. I have tried every trick mentioned by Bissell and Youtubers that I can find and this unit still does not suck dirty water into the tank. The dirty water just goes back into my carpet. This was a costly endeavor and I could not be more dissatisfied. I am sorry to have to give this model a bad review but this unit does not function as described.

This is the worst machine I've ever purchased. I shampooed my carpet this morning and when it dried it looked worse than it did before. So I shampooed a second time and it still looks worse than when I began. Looks great with Christmas in a little over a week!

This unit does the carpet and the carpeted stairs. I had the little green machine before which was a good unit but too small for the task. the Pro-heat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 2007 more then meets the needs. it has made a world of difference on the carpet and the stairs. because the last cleaner was a rental it has been awhile since the carpet and stairs were cleaned. I let some one borrow the green machine and it did not survive their use. this pro-heat 2x has been great to use, easy, the tools for the stairs are great and easy to use, but keep your finger off the trigger it is very sensitive. Also the clean up of the unit is very simple and quick. get the right tool for the Job. For us this Pro Heat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 2007 is the right tool for the Job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yet to find a stain this machine won't pull out. I've had the machine for over 3 years, just now having any sort of issue with it. The plug in the clean water tank came out which isn't supposed to happen as it's only supposed to regulate the amount of water sent to the unit. I called Bissell to order a new tank but they were kind enough to remind me of the 5 year warranty on the parts. I not only recommend this particular machine, but any and all Bissell products. All around amazing experience with all five Bissell products I currently own. How could they be better? They donate a portion of profits to help animals!! 5 stars simply don't seem like enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always balked at buying an expensive carpet cleaner. I have had an inexpensive one for years, that worked so so and was hard to use. After the third flood in my finished basement this month, I couldn't take it and read consumer reports and shelled out the bucks for this bad boy. The stains in my rug from the flood were awful, but this cleaner worked like a charm. I used the Bissell oxy pet shampoo. I totally recommend this product.

We used this machine once. PRO:Loved how powerful it is. It has much better suction than previous Bissell Models and Deep Cleans. CON: when we refilled the tank, we could not get the Bissell shampoo mixture to dispense at all. Even the Express Shot failed to dispense. Great if you want to only use once!

I bought this brand new. Wow, what a huge disappointment. The upholstery attachment doesn't suck up any water at all. I had to put towels on my couch for two days. Do not buy this. You will regret it tremendously. I don't know what design changes were made, but this is a scam product. Now I have to save up again to buy another brand. I'll never purchase any Bissell brand products ever again. As soon as the spin mop arrives that I ordered before I used this steam cleaner, I'm slapping the return label on it and paying the shipping to return it. Absolute garbage.
