I bought this for a ridiculously dirty area and I was too embarrassed to call my regular steam cleaner company. I was going to clean the area first before calling them for the whole house. The carpet cleaner was so fantastic I ended up doing the whole house myself and it came out way better! It was also cheaper and was not hard to do. I wish I would have bought this much much sooner. Even though I don't have a pet, there were so many spots in the area that I bought it figuring that if it handles a pet mess it should be able to handle my spots which I was right (coffee, soft drinks, chocolate ground into the carpet and traffic pattern dirt).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 6 year old Bissel Big green upright carpet cleaner and it has been worn down to the bones so time for a new one. I have 5 inside dogs, 3 our elderly and have accidents. This machine, on the first maiden voyage absolutely cleaned, even set in stains off my carpets. I have an 1800 sqft house and it just kept continually taking out the stains and urine smell. I researched and kept seeing rave reviews on youtube and instagram and I'm so happy I did my research and got mine. My only issue is how frequent you need to refill the solution and empty the dirty water resevoiur. But I rather do that to have super clean carpets again. Highly recommend. Should have bought it sooner.

Bought this as a pet cleaner. I have a husky who will pee on my carpet almost everyday. Extremely frustrating when you buy something so expensive and it doesn't work. I have used it multiple times and you can still see the stains. Pictures provided. Do not waste your money like I did. Paying over time and so upset I feel like I'm throwing money away. As a new stay at home mom I needed something that would be time efficient and easy to clean. It's the opposite

I was excited at the idea of not having to vacuum the kitchen floor before washing it, and also at having the ability to clean the carpets, so I bought the product. We have two cats. Unfortunately, the suction is not very strong and when I use it on the carpets I have to vacuum with my Dyson (which is over a decade old) first. Otherwise the Bissell vacuum loses suction. In the kitchen it does slightly better, however it does leave pools of water and the suction is still not very good. It's true that it weighs less than a rental machine, but it is still quite heavy. Also, it would be better if the cleaning tray had wheels.

The powerful suction Bissell is known for, the convenient size of a vacuum cleaner and heat too! This carpet cleaner is ah ma zing! I put off shampooing my parent's huge master bedroom because well, who likes to shampoo carpet? But let me tell you. I got the job done in less than 30 minutes and the output is embarrassing. The waste water was black and black water was being pushed around on the carpet but that simply means it's sucking it up and it's cleaning. I absolutely highly recommend.

The machine has a great power and works for deep cleaning, but leaves too many hair of my dog in the carpet specially wet, after you finish cleaning with this machine, you still need to pass another vacuum to aspirate all the wet hair loose in the carpet. For me that's why it's 4 star not 5.

Unfortunately, the motor (or something) burned causing me to exchange. The company was quick and pleasant with the return and another one, which I used yesterday for the first time to clean a very messy dog excrement situation. Well! This is the best shampooer I have ever, ever had! It cleaned it up in minutes and not a sight of it left. This was on a pale pink bedroom carpet. It dried before the day was done. I vacuumed this morning, and my carpet looks beautiful as if the accident had never happened. I highly recommend this product. It is light weight and very easy to use. Clean-up is much easier than the old one I had (which I gave to my son, and it is still working). This has saved my life since my dog is elderly and this is going to keep happening. Thank you, Bissell, for your customer service and a wonderful product!

However I let a friend borrow it and they never gave it back. Bought another brand one and it sucked and broke and finally bought this one again and fell in love all over again.

Basically ruined my carpet. 3 months after I bought it the shampooer started making a loud noise, started smoking and then everything just stopped working. Very upset and disappointed. May have to replace our carpet now

I received this product free from pinchme for my honest review. I have a German Shepherd that we were house training and he had a few accidents and they were set in stains and they came out!!! The products smell so good the attachments work so well. I was amazed. My steps and carpet are truely cleaner then when I had a professional come in and do it 6 months ago. It got it to hard to reach areas. Set up was soooo easy and Clean up was a breezes no screw driver needed just easy release buttons. I already have recommended this product to friends.
