It cleans at least as well as the rental machines I used in the past and is much more convenient. I get the job done in about thirty minutes start to finish as opposed to three hours of renting and using the other machines and I'm always starting with a CLEAN machine. I should have done this a long time ago.

We bought a floor model manufactured home after we lost ours in a flood. It was a year old and all sorts of traffic had been through it but we got a great deal so it was well worth it! We also added our own unfortunate spills and pet byproducts to the carpet since moving in. This machine got everything! EVERYTHING! And it did not leave the carpet soaked. I am a true believer in this Bissell product! Thank You Bissell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had three of these and none of their lives extended beyond a few months. They are over-priced and I am now realizing that there are much better options available. Sorry Bissell, but you lost my business.

This machine is such an improvement over my old Bissell ProHeat. The other worked well for many years and cleaned up a lot of pet messes over those years. But it was so hard to keep it clean. This new machine is very lightweight and so easy to clean. I do have a question though. I didn't read in any of the instructions to go back over the carpet with clean water (no cleaning solution mixed in). How does it not leave soap residue in the carpet if you don't rinse the carpet with clean water? I know from talking to many professionals that if soap residue is left in the carpet, it just picks up more and more dirt and spots come back sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner does well at removing stains and refreshing carpets, but things keep going wrong with it. The clean water tank has sprung a leak from the bottom, and the replacement part has been out of stock for several months. Also, the upholstery tool is finicky about when it wants to dispense cleaning solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have returned this carpet cleaner after the first clean but I was lazy. The dirty water tank fills up before the cleaning water tank is empty. This means you need to stop mid clean, twice if the clean tank is full to empty the dirty tank. To make matters worse any clean water still in the line now gravity feeds doen when you go to empty the dirty tank wasting water and soap. It is a huge design flaw.

This machine is a marvel. Our dog is older, deaf and blind and slowly having accidents. My carpets are always clean with no telltale evidence of doggie oops'. I was going to replace carpets, but after using this machine for a few months, while they are not new, they are sure not having to be replaced. Thank you Bissell.

As of now have only used it once. But will be using it to keep up the cleaning and maintenance of my carpet. It is lightweight and more powerful than my old Bissell carpet shampooer. One thing I do really like is the EZ Clean. Since, on the 1964 you can remove the Brush shield it is so much easier to completely clean the whole machine. (A time saver).

I was a little skeptical because I have use numerous rug cleaners over many years. This was the easiest to use that I've ever owned. It really helped to pick up some pet stains. I only wish they had included the hard floor roller so I can start using it on my tile!!

I clean up after 4 dogs and 2 kids and I am very happy with the Bissell's cleaning power and the fact that it leaves my carpets nearly dry! I also contacted customer service with a small issue and it was resolved promptly and without issue. I think the Company, the Product and it's customer service rank VERY HIGH in my book. **I was raised in a "Hoover Home" and never even considered other brands until this purchase and I am so pleased I chose Bissell!
