This machine definitely picked up a lot of ground in dirt. One room I followed the instructions and another room I followed the instructions but then followed up with a rinse with just hot water (no soap) to see what I wasn't picking up. The rinse water was almost as dirty as the 1st pass and pulled up much more of the soap left over from the first pass. In order to pull up the maximum amount of water, you do have to make slow passes and for me, the slow forward pass picked up much more water than a backward pass. This takes some time to get good results but I'm happy with owning my own carpet cleaner and can't wait to see what the next cleaning looks like.

I recieved this from Pinch Me! I got to test this Steam Cleaner. First off its easy to assemble. I recieved 2 shampoos one of them being "Urine Gone" .it has a special attachment designed to vacuum up that hard to get pet hair from carpet and upholstery. It worked so well. Together with the urine shampoo it was to good to be true. The stains were Gone! You add hot water but it has heatee built in that gets the water really hot to get down unside the carpet and release the Dirt Grime and Bacteria. I couldnt bealive the stuff comming from my carpet.. I vacuum everyday. Im a clean person. But WOW! I was shocked! The Bissell proheat2xRevolutionpetprocarpetcleaner tanks are easy on and off. Not extremly heavy when filling or dumping .Requires the tinest amount of solution. Great suction for vacumming and sucking that nasty bacteria from carpets and upholstery. .Great attachment to clean upholstery ..It worked great in my truck. My carpet and seats looked brand new! My carpets dried pretty quick and was not soaking wet when done.Also the cover to.the bristles comes right off. I was thrilled to learn this. This is great so your not lugging bacteria from one room to another..It was easy to push and go under tables .It moved so good around corners.. I want to say this. My husband works in construction. His pants and jackets get so filthy.I was so impressed with the results i was having i just could not resist! YES!! I did. I steam cleaned his jeans! OMG! I could not bealive what i was seeing. I did not record or do before n after photos...But i will update this review with pictures of how well it cleaned his jeans. .This machine is exactly what it claims to be plus more. It brought my faith in honesty back by these big companies. This is a must have for l mommy n daddys of pets.. Excellent on furniture.cleaning your car. I received this machine for Christmas thinking it would be great for me because I have 6 dogs. Filling up water tank was a challenge because it does not lay flat to measure water and cleaner. I had to purchase the bare floor part individually. The machine is very heavy and hard to maneuver on hard flooring. It's very loud. I had to do at least 10 run overs on a stain before it cleaned. The water doesn't distribute evenly when you push on the trigger. It leaks water when it's turned off. I am not impressed at all. I have used it once so far. If I can send it back for a refund, I will. If not, you will never get my business again.

Our other cleaner was about 8 years old......so we decided to purchase another Bissell and are glad we did. so much improvement......nice weight and very convenient to have the refill water tank and waste tank so conveniently located.......Sure beats the old bladder type on the older one Love it

I absolutely love this steam cleaner! I typically have a company to clean my carpets, but no more! Save the money and do it yourself! I understand we are all professionals and work long hours like I do, but this is very easy to assemble, even for this single gal, I put it together in no time! Even if you have no pets, this one is the best!

I was so lucky to receive a trial from pinchme! This carpet cleaner is awesome! My house used to have heavy smells even with my old cleaner but not this one! I barely smell any urine after the use. The suction power for the hair isn't too bad either. At least I don't have to vacuum the same spot a few times. My dog sheds a lot so this is so helpful. It saved me so much time. I would recommend this to anyone who has pets!

My carpets really needed cleaning. I got 1 wall to wall (extra large) and 2 large area rugs done in about 2 hours. I couldn't believe how dirty they were! When finished they felt really wet and I was worried they were never going to dry. But in just a few hours they were dry and fluffy - like new! I Love this thing!! Easy to fill and empty, and cleanup was a breeze!

This carpet cleaner is awesome!!! I LOVE IT ! I have five dogs that stay in the house and a good carpet cleaner is a must. I've had several different models by different manufacturers, and hands down this is the best of the lot! It's easy to maneuver, easy to clean with the removable cover, easy to fill (I love the tanks being located where they are), it cleans extremely well, love the double row of beaters and it's not as loud as other cleaners. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who has pets or kids! Or both!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner does the job and then some! We didn't even use the max cleaning setting, and it still got all the stains up! Only downside is the size of tank. It does empty fast, but I'll take the time to fill it up when it cleans this well!

I own a lot of tools... woodworking, house painting, auto detailing, etc. Normally I buy professional grade and don't mind paying the extra money for the better function and reliability. When I was researching carpet cleaners to decide which to buy, I saw a YouTube video comparing 5 cleaners. Two where Bissell; this one and the Green Machine. This one cleaned the best by far. Normally I would have purchased the Commercial Green Machine, but because of the video review, I decided to give this one a try. It works great! It REALLY cleans well and left my carpets looking new. Because It is light weight, easy to use, and functions similarly to an upright vacuum, I plan on cleaning my carpets much more often; I can clean a room at a time when necessary instead of going through the hassle of scheduling a professional carpet cleaner and taking an entire day to clean the whole house. When I use it, I move it back and forth over the carpet fairly slowly allowing it time to suck up the dirty water. You can see through the clear suction unit when there is no more water being sucked through it. I am also judicious on the amount of water I spray. I think some of the complaints from people saying it doesn't suck up the dirty water are because probably because some are continually holding the handle spray trigger and don't realize you are only supposed to squeeze it long enough to put down the water necessary to dampen the carpet. I think the others are probably moving the machine too fast and not allowing it time to suck up the dirty water. You do have to refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank fairly often, but I did not find this to be too troublesome. Bottom line is it cleaned great, was easy to use, and was cheaper than a professional cleaner costs to only clean my carpets one time. I can now get professional results as often as I want, on my schedule, for free.
