First use, I am very happy with the machine. Second use in the second month of ownership, the brushes won't turn. I contacted Bissell, and I discover the belt is broken. Ok, I understand, it happens I guess. But belts and brushes aren't covered under warranty?!?! If it were within the 30 days, I'd return it for a refund. A product should last for more than 2 months before needing service. Standing behind your product is so important. I'll repair it myself, but it's the last time I will purchase a Bissell.

Bought this as a pet cleaner. I have a husky who will pee on my carpet almost everyday. Extremely frustrating when you buy something so expensive and it doesn't work. I have used it multiple times and you can still see the stains. Pictures provided. Do not waste your money like I did. Paying over time and so upset I feel like I'm throwing money away. As a new stay at home mom I needed something that would be time efficient and easy to clean. It's the opposite

Wow, I could not believe the job it did on our rugs, they look almost new and smell wonderful. After buying carpet cleaner after carpet cleaner such as Hoover, Bissell, etc. this Bissell Pro Heat 2X is #1 hands down and at 82 yrs. old very easy to operate in fact much easier than any machine I have owned and I have owned many. Always thought the cleaners I have had did the job, however, when cleaning a rug with our new Bissell, it went over a section and when pulling it back you could smell the urine come out. I could not believe my eyes/nose. You go Bissell, you did it right this time.

I did a lot of research before I bought this machine and I am so glad I bought it!! I had stains from my dog on my carpet and I had to get rid of them. I am so pleased to say I cleaned my carpet and all of these stains are GONE. I did follow the directions EXACTLY as noted by Bissell. I will use Bissell if accidents occur to avoid problems in the future. I do think this machine could be used to clean an office if you work in a building where you are responsible for your space. As far as having problems pushing the unit, I had absolutely none. It was easy to fill the water/cleaner tank and empty the dirty water tank.

This is the third and last Bissell I will buy. Everyone has had problems after a short period of use. When it worked it did a good joy of cleaning. They just don't last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved this machine AT FIRST.. It worked great.... UNTIL I attempted to use the tools. I couldn't get them to spray no matter how hard I tried. . UNLESS they were a few iches above the base of the machine (below clear water tank level- which was complety useless unless I wanted to scrub my carpet by hand) and it wasn't the greatest flow.(drips). and as soon as I raised it to clean my couch it lost ALL FLOW... I've read the manual... searched google/youtube...primed it..made sure hose was attached correctly and tank had H2O.. nothing worked. Soooo DISAPPOINTED. one of the reasons I purchased it was to clean furniture.

I used this machine the instant I got home. I could not believe how much dirt it was able to extract from my carpets and upholstery. I have a dog that has her own recliner. She sits all over the fur-niture but her chair is the favorite. I also had rooms that I don't go in that often, guests rooms and the like, and was shocked at how much dirt this new Bissell got up. Thanks so much.

I have white carpet. This machine did an excellent job of cleaning a 24 hour old dog vomit stain that I had cleaned up as best I could before purchasing the machine. It even worked on an older stain that had been professionally steam cleaned. And with the peroxide formula cleaner I felt the spot was well sanitized. The cleaner is easy to use and easy to take apart for clean up afterward. It will saturate carpet if you aren't careful, but if you keep going slowly over the wet area it does a great job of extracting. What was in the waste container looked to be roughly the same amount of cleaner put in. The carpet felt completely dry after approximately 2 hours with the ceiling fan on medium and the air conditioning running normally. You can only clean small areas at a time, but it works fast, and it is far better than trying to clean on hands and knees or paying a professional $100 to come to the house.

It took me four uses before I thought it would be fair to write this review. The Pros for me are the long cord, easy to use/clean, size of the machine, and powerful suction for a deep clean and to reduce drying time. The first time, I tried the express setting, used the hottest tap water and measured the cleaning solution properly and did not achieve the expected results. I could hardly tell if it accomplished anything. We have a few heavy-traffic areas and frequent spills so I knew there would soon be another chance to try it out. The second time, I used the heavy clean setting and added a little more than the recommended amount of cleaning solution. I was happier with this result but thought I might still have to occasionally hire a professional. The third trial was disappointing but I feel it may be unfair as a test compared to normal home use. Our special needs daughter is six and was very quick to spill pancake syrup on a bedroom floor with off-white carpet. The ease of getting out and turning on the machine made it a fast response but the syrup was very difficult to suck up. After several passes, there still remains a gray area where the stain is. I will have to try a harder chemical cleaner and deeper-reaching tool to remove it from the fibers. The fourth trial was what I was hoping for! After putting it off, I decided to give it one more run. I used double the solution and used the deep clean setting. It took about an hour and a half and three tanks of water to cover three rooms and a hallway of carpet. I passed over heavy traffic areas 2-3 times and used the spot sprayer when necessary. I was careful to pass over with the suction a few times, especially in heavily treated areas and was very happy with the results! I am extremely pleased that it dries quickly. This extensive trial was completely dry within a few hours.

I have always purchased Bissell carpet cleaners but they just were not doing the job they were either constantly plugging up or dumping water or just not picking up enough water! I finally decided to try a Hoover carpet clean and my whole attitude changed on cleaning carpets. Usually it would take me 1/2 day to clean hallway and living room and the carpet would be wet for 2 days!!!!With the Hoover it took me 1 hour I did not have to go back over the carpet 3 or 4 times AND the carpet was dry the next morning!!! Plus machine was super easy to clean!!! No more Bissell ever again!!!
