This carpet cleaner worked great while it ran. I was cleaning my living room carpet after trying it out on a few spots. After a second refill and dump of the tanks. The clean water tank no longer fit. The bottom is warped and will not dispense water. Still recommend the product. Just don't use more than one tank at a time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brushes never turn off, not even when upright, and don't clear carpet well enough. Be aware the tray will be useful to set it on while using hose for spot cleaning, especially if your carpet is plush or long. The brushes are suppose to lightfast up, but they only lifted up at an angle, so carpet can get nicked, which is not a good thing with a high-speed brush during a spot cleanup. Not well designed or thought out. I expected better from Bissell. This is inconvenient.

It's a brand new place not lived in before, but so much dirt came up with this vacuum. Carpets seemed clean, so glad for purchase especially since I have 2 little ones, my girl is crawling so wanted to make sure she has a clean space. Now I feel comfortable her being on floor.

All of a sudden it decided to stop praying the water/cleanjng mixture. The suction still worked but would spray anything out. I only had it about 6 months before it stopped working. Tried trouble shooting it but no luck. I feel like I wasted my money and now it's just been sitting in my house taking up space and collecting dust. I really don't want to shell out more money for a new one as I spent close to $300 on this one.

So instead of tracking in black dirt, light colored carpets turn a burnt orange or dark red. Well I don't have human children but I definitely have a fur baby who thinks he's a human! Yes my 100+ pound Cane Corso tracks in dirt and sheds. My spouse and I agreed that I would maintain the floors, carpet and rugs. This includes cleaning the carpet and rugs about once a week. My old carpet cleaner just didn't have the technology to keep up with my Cane Corso. So I bought this guy along with all of its attachments and Bissell Recommended Cleaner. After one cleaning, I was simply amazed! I literally watched the dirt be sucked into this machine! And it smells amazing! Use hot water. Use the recommended cleaning solution. Buy it! This thing really works. P.S. These pictures are NOT edited! This is using natural light. This rug is in my living room. P.S.S. I'm NOT a tester for Bissell but would love to be! I've been researching which pet vacuum carpet cleaner to purchase and finally settled on the proheat. I'll be honest I wasn't sure if it was going to work since my carpet had several old stains from my dog but I tried it and I was incredibly pleased with the result! I gave it 4 stars though because it does take several times to dump the dirty water and refill the gallon of clean water. The cleaner I used was the pro pet odor and stain removal and it didn't have the most freshest scent but I figured if it can remove the stains and odor then I'm happy with it. (I did use a pretreatment on all my stains before I went over with the carpet cleaner).

From the moment I turned it on I knew this was a great purchase. I have had a stain in my bedroom for a year now that no other shampooer has been able to lift. I used the hot shot function. And the stain is GONE! Not to mention it was super easy to clean after using.

We are a multiple dog household out in the country. Between the dogs and the ample dust that filters in from living on a dirt road, my carpet takes a beating. This machine does a REALLY good job on my carpet. It cleans in half the time the machines I've rented in the past. It's easy to use and easy to clean. My house is 2/3 carpet, 1/3 ceramic tile. Because it did such a great job on my carpet, I bought the hard floor attachment. I am not impressed with its hard floor capabilities. My tile has a little bit of texture to it and the hard floor attachment holds the machine just high enough off the floor to keep the brushes from getting into the nooks and crannies. I was hoping to have found one machine to clean my entire floor, but my steam mop does a better job on my tile.

I did some research and decided to replace the old upright this model - it cleans really well and sucks up a lot of the solution from the carpet. It is kind of heavy, but did a beautiful job. Second reason I went for this model; I needed something much easier to clean. This is way easier to clean than my old one. The nozzle comes off in one piece for cleaning. Also the nozzle clean out tool is easier to use with this nozzle - I don't have to keep repositioning the clean out tool and I can reach further to pull out debris. The package I bought has the Rinse and Storage tray. What a treat to just turn on the machine to rinse the brushes. And I had gotten a Hydro Rinse hose cleaning tool before. I attached a hose to the accessory hose door attached the Hydro Rinse accessory to the hose and let the machine clean out the rest of itself. Very little effort and time to clean the carpet cleaner. So, in addition to recommending this ProHeat 2X Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner, I recommend the Rinse and Storage tray and the Hydro Rinse to make life easier.

We four dogs, 3 of which are house broken. Our oldest dog (17yrs) was coming close to passing away. Among the obvious problems, he began losing his bowels. This was happening while the puppy was still being house broken. It became quite a mess. We decided it was time to get a new steam cleaner. We got this green miracle and have loved it ever since. It is strong, great suction, excellent cleaning, and very quite for a steam cleaner. It was the best purchase we made, cleans great both the top of the carpet and whats underneath. I recommend this to anyone looking.
