I used this product twice a week and I loved it but when the belt broke replacing it is the hardest I have every come across. I could not get it back together and parts fell off and I could not figure out where they came from. I would love to have another one but replacing broken belts is a brick wall to getting another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine to replace one that was starting to see it's last days.I couldn't be happier ,right out of the box it was easy to set up and the instructions were very clear concise and easy to follow. It did a real cleaning number on my household carpeting. No more pet tracks and it really deep cleaned up my aging carpets to a decent shape and color. The one drawback is that the dirty water tank fills up fast and the protection ball stops suction fast but I can live with it as it doesn't cause an overfill so it's still a plus in one sort of way. But overall I am pleased to the max!!!

We bought the Bissell Pro Heat Pet unit and it never worked properly. We purchased a Service Plan with the unit but could never use the plan since the unit is only 4 months old. After using the troubleshooting videos to help with our problem (the machine would not dispense water then would not dispense soap), we called Bissell to only get referred to a Service Center that is clear across town, the first couple of Service Centers phones were disconnected. We are very disappointed in this carpet cleaner and will probably get rid of the machine and purchase another brand with a higher quality.

I use this for my carpets a couple times a month as my dog had been making some "mistakes." It cleans thoroughly and well and isn't backbreakingly heavy like my previous cleaner. I really like this for deep cleaning and it gives me such peace of mind knowing I've truly gotten a deep down clean.

I am very happy with my purchase. In the past, I have always used the classic red rental from grocery stores, but I was unhappy with the most recent redesign of that machine, increasing cost, and occasional issues with dirty, broken or missing parts on the rental units. I felt forced into buying my own, but this Bissell works much better than the rental. It's more powerful, easier to use on stairs, lighter, and I don't have to deal with hauling it back to the grocery store within 24 hours. Detractors include the smaller water capacity than the rental units, so I spend more time refilling clean water and dumping the waste. It is also another large appliance taking up room in a closet. I don't regret my purchase at all, however. It has made it much easier to keep my carpets clean. I have used it enough in three months to justify the cost and I have experienced no issues with parts, cleaning or maintenance.

I am aware that the concentration of the cleaning solution plays a major role in the result and that more concentrated is not necessarily better. This concern is not really addressed in any of the documentation. ALSO, the advice on the machine itself appears to conflict with the manual and with that on the concentrate bottle. I find this to be such a negative that I find myself wishing for a product that I KNOW I am using properly. The problem here is that I am using TWO products, one mechanical and one chemical with no reliable help in assurance of proper use. I would recommend to the casual user but not to anyone who needs to be correct. Having said this, I am not certain that any other carpet cleaning product is any better.

Unfortunately there is one carpeted room that they often pee in when I'm out. Also, there is a significant amount of red dirt in the air that gets blown in the house. I was concerned when I saw that I had to assemble it, but it was super easy! I usually get the carpet professionally cleaned, but I didn't have time to organize it before I had guests visiting. I was really impressed with the amount of suction that the vacuum had. You can see it pulling up the dirt and it worked wonderfully. I will try it next on my couch with the upholstery tool Cathy BISSELL, and the BISSELL foundation truly invest in animal shelters, such as ours. I will always buy Bissell because of this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a lot of upright clearners over the years. Hands down this is the best one I have ever purchased. My carpet has been cleaned regular and the double brushes really deeps clean. The dirty water was a testament to we needed a new upright. Wish I bought it a year ago. We got a new puppy and I feel my house will be clean now. The carpet look new again. I even bought the rechargable hand held pet one. Cant wait to see how well that works

Bought this as a pet cleaner. I have a husky who will pee on my carpet almost everyday. Extremely frustrating when you buy something so expensive and it doesn't work. I have used it multiple times and you can still see the stains. Pictures provided. Do not waste your money like I did. Paying over time and so upset I feel like I'm throwing money away. As a new stay at home mom I needed something that would be time efficient and easy to clean. It's the opposite

I have a golden retriever puppy, two athletic boys and a truck driver husband, and this thing has managed to get out all the dirt, grime, grease, puppy pee stains they manage to get in the carpet. Super easy to clean when I'm done and the different types of carpet cleaners fit every need. I highly recommend using the Boost with the cleaner too.
