I was excited at the idea of not having to vacuum the kitchen floor before washing it, and also at having the ability to clean the carpets, so I bought the product. We have two cats. Unfortunately, the suction is not very strong and when I use it on the carpets I have to vacuum with my Dyson (which is over a decade old) first. Otherwise the Bissell vacuum loses suction. In the kitchen it does slightly better, however it does leave pools of water and the suction is still not very good. It's true that it weighs less than a rental machine, but it is still quite heavy. Also, it would be better if the cleaning tray had wheels.

The unit does a decent job at cleaning. But the designers chose form over function... A one gallon fresh water supply but a dirty water tank of maybe a half gallon, and by the time you factor in water that stays in the carpet, you end up wasting a great deal of time dumping water and refilling... They would have been just as well served to make the fresh water a half gallon as well, or better yet, find a way to increase the dirty water tank to the same size as your fresh water... And speaking of the dirty water tank, it drains "easily", but not completely, again, poor design... as you are pouring the water out, there is always a bit left in the tank unless you waste more time rocking it back and forth to get the last of the water out.. If you don't, then you end up pouring dirty water all over everything once you set the unit back upright Wanted to like this unit, but clearly the person who designed this, never planned on using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this and I did. After 3 years of owing this the hose on the bottom of the machine dry rotted. They sent me a replacement and now after another 3 years. Now out of warranty, the same thing happened again. For as much money as these things are you would think for something as simple as a hose it can be replaced easily. They don't sell them and you can't easily replace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a little heavy, and its a little loud, but who cares it cleans like nothing else! I don't have to get down and scrub the carpet, I don't have to pack my heavy carpet to get cleaned. I thought the other reviews might have exaggerated, but oh no, this thing is incredible. Leaves the carpet almost dry and the back side 100% dry so I can leave it on the laminate flooring. The design team needs some serious stock options/bonuses for this one.

I got my new cleaner yesterday and I was so excited to use it. I've had the older model for about 7 years when it finally decided to stop working. My husband purchased the new model which I was excited to get it's smaller and seams to use more water so I can clean bigger surfaces. On my 3rd spot, the canister is half full of soap and the dirty water is about 1/4 full. The machine stopped sucking up water. I thought it was plugged by hair or something so I pulled it apart and there was nothing so I pulled out the dirty water tank and it spilled all the dirty water on me and the floor. Great because now I don't have a way to clean it up.

This lightweight full size cleaner is amazing. It isnt big and bulky like others. I vacuumed twice and then used this (i have 3 large dogs) and it pulled up so much dog hair out of my carpet!! Works so well!!! Dries quickly. Sooooo easy to clean!! Highly recommend this!

This carpet cleaner removed old stains and new stains. It left my 13 year old carpet looking like new! It was easy to use and easy to clean after using. The products enclosed were excellent and left the carpet clean and smelling fresh. It did a better job than the professional carpet cleaner I had come previously. After one use, it has paid for itself!!

Plenty of power for residential use. Tank could be bigger, maybe, there is room on handle for bigger tanks. Could get closer to the wall, but I understand the design, better on the sides than in the middle. Overall, very pleased with performance. More than enough power for the average household carpet.

I was so lucky to receive the carpet cleaner from pinchme! I love the product so much! It's making my life easier from the multi function of the cleaner. The pee smell from my dog isn't too strong, but it still eliminated it so my home smells clean. The brush does pick up most of the hair and dirt from the carpet and the sofa. To other people it may be light, for me it's a bit heavy. Still, I would recommend this to anyone who has pets!

A wonderful product. Lightweight and easy to use at a good price. I was impressed at how much dog fur was extracted even after I had quite thoroughly vacuumed before I started cleaning. Even in the rooms I thought weren't too dirty the cleaner pulled out a ton of dirt. My carpets look and smell great.
