The third time I used this it won't stop shooting water everywhere. Now my carpet is soaked and I cannot clean or dry it. I read some VERY lengthy and difficult ways to trouble shoot this which I guess I'll try since it was so expensive but I shouldn't have this much trouble with a product I've only used twice!! And yes I only used the bissell pet pro cleaner with it.

I have owned several Bissell steam cleaning products over the past ten years or so. One of them was a SpotBot, which has been working well for a few years. The other three were uprights (such as this ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 1986), and all three of them had hand tool attachments that stopped spraying water, rendering them useless. It seems like the spray button stops working or the hoses get clogged, even though I only ever use the recommended Bissell brand cleaning fluid for each device. While the previous ones lasted at least a dozen uses before no longer working, this ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner stopped working after the second use. Bissell products are possibly the least-reliable products I have ever purchased. I hope to never have to purchase another one, again.

Well . . . lets start with . . . I vacuumed the devil out of my floors on Sunday AM and then went down and rented a Rug Doctor and cleaned the floors using it after that. Rug Dr. seemed to work pretty well, but I could see where I need a full time, always here rug cleaner, so off to the store I go. Purchased this Bissell 19862 Super duper, best for pets, carpet cleaner/shampooer, right. My puppy waited 2 days before deciding to squat on the floor in the master bath, so on Wednesday out comes the new cleaner. I used Express Cleaning mode, not a very big spot, but I thought "What the heck, I'll just use up this half tank and do the whole bathroom." Why Not . . . well I can tell you for sure, this thing PICKS UP some dog hair, Holy Cow! 3 days after vacuuming and using the Rug Dr. and I have tons of dog hair, so that is the good news. The Not so Good News is . . . where did all of the water and soap solution go? I used an express tank and I have maybe a spoonful of water in the dirty water tank, maybe!! Figured out how to take the front apart, because I had to clean it twice just doing the bathroom, did I say it picks up dog hair? But I am afraid all of that dirty water is now in the carpet and in the pad, because it certainly was not in the tank!! So . . . . only used it once, I won't bash it hard, but if it doesn't pick up the dirty water on the next go around, back to the store it will go!

I absolutely love my Bissell! I have an older dog plus adult sons and this just cleaned fantastically. The dog made a mess on the carpet and the suction on this machine was great. After cleaning up the dog mess I continued to clean the rest of my carpet. Usually I vacuum before washing the carpet but this time I didn't. My old machine (different brand) you couldn't completely clean out all the dog hair. But this machine completely comes apart and you are able to wash all the pieces. My recliners were filthy from my husband and sons sitting on them after exercising, working in the greenhouse or working construction. The Bissell sucked the dirt right out and left the recliners looking like new.

The cleaner seemed like a good design, but it's not for pets. The narrow opening for the suction plugs up with hair. Yes it comes with a tool, but why so narrow. Why does it need to heat the water when you already put hot water in it, and the water runs out in 5 min? The suction is ok but I've seen better in other machines. The machine will clean dirt but pet hair will just get wadded in clumps under the machine and then be left all over the carpet. The Stain Trapper tool is a joke. Barely any suction, so a waste of money.

I had to say after owning numerous Bissell productd over the years, this one is the best. It's lightweight, yet durable and strong. With having a bad back, wrist, and shoulder from a car accident, this makes it much easier to use being lightweight. The colors on the design are neat too. The fact the product vacuums up debris and hair before cleaning, is a major plus! I will be testing the upholstery cleaner on an older couch in my office, when I some time in June. There's another attachment to clean non carpet floors, but it doesn't come with the machine. I may buy the extra attachment ig it's not too expensive. Excited to clean hard to clean items!

From out of the box I started to love this machine . it assembles easy, I love how easy it is to clean it after use far better then the deluxe pro heat pet Bissell I owned until the motor died ( this was a lift off model). its powerful and cleans so well. the spot spray works great . the water tank is easy to remove as well as the dirty tank. I'm sold on this Machine and for the pets messes no problem. I love how it cleans my cars floors and upholstery as well. you cant go wrong with this machine . well done Bissell.

My husband and I have 2 kids and 4 dogs. Our house gets DIRTY. We have gone through multiple other carpet cleaners and have not been really happy with them. We would usually end up renting the industrial carpet cleaner from the grocery store. I am happy to say with the ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner we wont have to any more. I don't think I have ever seen my husband so excited to use a carpet cleaner before. We love that it has two separate water tanks for easy cleaning. That you can purchase an attachment to clean hard floors. Most of all though we love that we can use it to clean up dog hair first before using the carpet cleaning feature. No more having wet dog hair balls on the floor after we are done cleaning. I did received a free ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner product in exchange for my review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our previous (non-Bissell) carpet cleaner died, we borrowed our friends' Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro to finish the job. It was so much better than the old one that I went back and re-did the rest of the house so it was all just as clean! We bought this to clean our new house's carpet and it pulled up nearly all of the stains left by the seller. We have 2 cats and the pet upholstery tool works like a charm for messes on furniture. I love how quick and easy it is to use compared to our old cleaner, and that it has a cleaning tray to clean out the brushes after using so it doesn't collect buildup (and the tool holders on the side are a bonus). I also am excited to use the stair tool, as I have no idea how I would clean them without it! I wish that the dirty tank could hold as much water as the clean tank so I don't have to empty it as much (I plan to do our entire basement next but I know it will take forever to clean since I have to run upstairs to fill and empty the tanks). The only other issue is that the hole for the screw on the back wasn't properly drilled through so we had to make one ourselves in order to assemble. Overall, I LOVE this machine and all it has to offer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Full Size Upright Carpet Cleaner, 1548F on Jun 22, 2021. the problem- No suction , no water was in the dirty water tank after i cleaned carpet. I just used for first time today. i had planned on just doing half of the carpet in my living room { and do the rest the next day } , i followed the instructions on filling the clean water tank. i sprayed the carpet with so awesome cleaner, the i went thru the steps of cleaning the carpet. I used almost all of the tank of clean water and solution , i had cleaned the carpet for bout 20mins , and when i notice that there WASNT any water in the dirty water tank AT ALL not even a drop.. i had read some reviews online that several ppl have complained about the " suction problem " please help me solve this problem .
