Plenty of power for residential use. Tank could be bigger, maybe, there is room on handle for bigger tanks. Could get closer to the wall, but I understand the design, better on the sides than in the middle. Overall, very pleased with performance. More than enough power for the average household carpet.

Overall I am super happy with the Proheat 2X Revolution. Professionals charge too much and this machine paid for itself after I cleaned one level of my home. It is a hard worker, the dirty water bucket was proof of that! It's an easy machine to use. I made a few passes over the wet areas until little water was being sucked up. My carpets were dry to the touch after a few hours, but we didn't walk on them until the next day and waited 48 hours to put furniture back. My carpet pad does have the moisture barrier on both sides. Stairs were more difficult as deep cleaning relies on your personal strength and endurance. A staircase without a landing may require a balancing act as the hose doesn't reach the 1/2 way point.

As stated the water picked up does not equal the water disbursed from the clean tank and the vacuum DOES NOT work effectively at picking up carpet fibers. I spent more time cleaning up (cleaning out carpet fibers etc.) AFTER I cleaned my carpets then I did cleaning the carpets! The fibers stick in the front nozzle and clog the vacuum and water leaks all over the floor from the bottom of the machine.

I got this product due to amazing reviews. The first time I used it I've noticed the water for so much dirt and it was first time cleaning those carpets. We tend not to walk on carpets but accidents happens. First, I've noticed how horribly heavy it is and I have back issues on and off. Do anything but lift it. It's very large as well and it might be harder to find space for it. Be very careful with any corners as plastic front piece is fragile. I assumed this works on tiles, but sadly does not. Still, having 3 carpets It does the work needed. I believe 1-2 months later I decided to wash carpets again and my child spilled some sticky sauce. The sticky part needed Kors of soaking and aiming at the sticky spot wasn't easy. I had to go over it several times to see the difference but it did clean it out. Carpets seems crispy but odor from detergent is slightly bothersome. Manageable. It picks up when smaller dusty or hair particles too. Look at this dirty dark water. Amazing. I am only confused is it possible that my carpet showed same dark water since first use and we don't walk in shoes inside our home. It cleans it so well. Wow. Again, it makes me think did it clean it so well last time, or does it require a rinse as someone has mentioned. I use hot water as machine won't heat up the water unfortunately. I'm going to try and wash it again today (two days later) and see if water comes out cleaner and do second round as a rinse. This would tell me the effect. The Bissell customer service is amazing and any parts or anything you need they'll ship right away. Warranty is long compared to other companies.

Dirty water tank leaked, so I paid for a new one. After a short time, that one leaked. Left wheel fell off. No way to put it back on. The plastic water tanks and plastic housing are very thin gauge plastic. Belts flimsy. limsy. With machine in a upright position it is hard to push. For the cost of this unit, cost ratio for Bissel very favorable, reliability for the customer very poor. Needs redesigning.

I have a small dog. Even though she is trained she still has accidents on the carpet. My carpet was feeling rough to the touch I hated even walking on it. I got my Bissell and I used it the first night. When I emptied the full tank I was surprised at how dirty the water was. Just the thought that I have not had my carpet cleaned in three years makes me cringe. My carpet did not have any stains so I can't say how it works on them. However I can say that it will remove a lot of dirt from your carpet. Also the box came with two samples of cleanser. The professional with OXY was the best one. It smells clean and light it is not over powering at all. I read many reviews before buying this. Please follow the directions to the t and you won't have any problems.

I loved this vacuum! I have two rugs in my house that I had used it on about a dozen times and it was so effective in getting up all the crud that I couldn't even see! It was especially helpful after pet accidents but even routine cleaning, I loved it! However after about 6 uses, it stopped working and it won't suction. Tried all the problem solving steps and it still won't work. Not with the money for the minimal uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work at an animal shelter and usually have 4-5 dogs in my home between fosters and my own pets. Unfortunately there is one carpeted room that they often pee in when I'm out. Also, there is a significant amount of red dirt in the air that gets blown in the house. I was concerned when I saw that I had to assemble it, but it was super easy! I usually get the carpet professionally cleaned, but I didn't have time to organize it before I had guests visiting. I was really impressed with the amount of suction that the vacuum had. You can see it pulling up the dirt and it worked wonderfully. I will try it next on my couch with the upholstery tool Cathy BISSELL, and the BISSELL foundation truly invest in animal shelters, such as ours. I will always buy Bissell because of this.

This is the third Bissell we own and each and every time I swear that I will never buy another. Keep thinking they have to get better! But No they don't! This machine leaves behind soapy water that your constantly having to go back over! It's a never-ending battle and when you turn it off it leaves a puddle of nasty water on the floor. The tank is seated correctly and No matter how much you clean the cleaner it still does it. Useless!

Cleans carpets very well and is very easy to clean.Great for pet messes and stains. Vacuums up very good This is my second Bissell carpet cleaner. I made the mistake of loaning it out came back dirty and broken. Had that one for close to 20 yrs and was going to fix it but decided it was time for a new one. We are soo glad we went with the new one all the new features this one has and the ease of cleaning it afterwards. I am looking forward to another 20 yrs of a great product I am not going to loan this one out to anyone. I will tell them buy your own or rent one. A big Thank You Bissell and keep up the great work
