[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I've used it so far it pulls up about a 1/4 of what it puts down. Diction is almost non existent and has been that way from day one. If it won't suck the water up that you put down then very little dirt is being extracted from the carpet. This unit is complete garbage. What a waste of money. I wasted mine don't waste yours. I wouldn't even feel good selling it as a used cleaner. It's that bad.

From out of the box I started to love this machine . it assembles easy, I love how easy it is to clean it after use far better then the deluxe pro heat pet Bissell I owned until the motor died ( this was a lift off model). its powerful and cleans so well. the spot spray works great . the water tank is easy to remove as well as the dirty tank. I'm sold on this Machine and for the pets messes no problem. I love how it cleans my cars floors and upholstery as well. you cant go wrong with this machine . well done Bissell.

I bought this after my mom took my old one hostage. We have three little dogs that had a hard time holding it when we worked 10 hour days. The carpet in our new home looked and smelled so gross I couldn't stand it! I bought this, set it up myself (it was super easy), and was on my way to clean carpet bliss in no time! It really picked up all the stains and even some lint and gunk my dyson failed to pick up. The pet stains are no more and our carpet looks like new, plus it smells so much better!

This carpet cleaner has replaced a few others - and this is AMAZING! The fact that it heats the water is what makes this the best out there. We have dogs that occasionally have accidents and this makes clean up so easy and our house has no PET smell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to clean stair runners, oriental area rugs and my finished basement wall to wall. It is everything I expected it to be. The amount of dirt it removed is just shocking. The unit is easy to use and to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum doesn't wash the carpet: It sprays the water, but doesn't collect back a lot. You can't just push spray, you actually have to squick it. It is heavy and not easy to use and on top of that it is very noisy. Wish I made better choice. Not recommend at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for Christmas (we celebrated early due to work schedule)and it is worth every penny!!!I used it yesterday and the old pet urine stains are gone gone and the dark high traffic area is like new again. I Love the simplicity of the design and use is very easy. I even did the stairs with great results. Go ahead and buy it!

Basically ruined my carpet. 3 months after I bought it the shampooer started making a loud noise, started smoking and then everything just stopped working. Very upset and disappointed. May have to replace our carpet now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Hoover carpet cleaner died this morning (less than 2 years old by the way) so I decided to go with the Bissell as a replacement and I'm happy I did. It outperformed the Hoover and it wasn't even close. We were debating on replacing our carpeting but the Bissell gave it new life and our house smells so fresh now. Awesome product!

I thought the steamer worked great. Great suction power and left the carpet smelling great. Cons are that it is very heavy and it will leave clumps of hair. I vacuumed prior and it must have had more suction power than my vacuumed and it left hair, in clumps all over the floor.
