[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have only used it to clean my living room area rug and part of my sofa. The carpet was a breeze. Easy to push and maneuver around and the cleanup was very easy. But, next time I will do it in the garage as the water doesn't stay in the tray very well. I had a big puddle that shot out the back of the tray. Could use a little tweaking, but the concept is good. Not as happy with the upholstery cleaning. It took to much pressure to get water out. Killed my back, could not move for a couple of days. Will try a different approach the next time.

It's a good carpet cleaner. However, the recovery tank could hold more info the float was redesigned. The solution tank needs to be redesigned to hold more solution. As it is you have to empty the recovery tank and fill the solution tank after 5 minutes of use. These are some big flaws in the design of this carpet cleaner.

I have tried many others, including so called professional rental cleaners, and none of them compare to the cleaning capabilities of the Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner. Pet hair came up, dirt and stains just disappeared, and my carpet looks amazing. It's also easy to clean out when finished. No more dreading the need to clean my carpets anymore. I even get a kick out of watching the dirt vanish and my carpet reappear. Thank you Bisssel, this is one of the best investments I have ever made. I will have one of these machines the rest of my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this machine. Cleans better then professional cleaners. The only reason I didn't get it a five is the dirty water has to be emptied too often. It only fills a third of the way and has to be dumped.

I have been wanting a carpet /furniture cleaner for a long time. After looking at many products, viewing videos and reading reviews, I decided on the Bissell ProHeat 2x PET Pro Carpet Cleaner. I have 3 dogs, mud, pet hair and more. I reviewed many different You Tube videos, before I started (which helped with use/ tips), and AWAY I went cleaning everything in sight! The dog hair that was removed from the area carpets, even after I had vacuumed, that was imbedded in the carpet, that was surprising. The dirty water which looked like mud, now my area carpets look and smell like new. The process of using the Bissell was easy to use, and to clean. Reviews have stated the Bissel is loud, Yes it was loud, but not any different then your rentals. Thank You Bissell for making my life easier, so glad I now own my own Bissell carpet cleaner! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleaner did a fairly good job on my carpet and was really easy to clean it out afterwards. I do like the clip in hose attachment. Much easier than my old machine. The "spot cleaner" is nothing more than spraying a small patch. Kind of a waste in my opinion. The settings for cleaning only mean the amount of solution is used. It puts a tremendous amount of solution down on the carpet but only vacuums up some of it, leaving the carpet wetter than my last cleaner ( after 27 yrs it had enough). I can't compare this to other brands so perhaps this is the case for all of the ones made now I just hope that this carpet cleaner will last for awhile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The muddy dirty water tank is a testament to how well the machine works (and how much my carpets needed it). But I do not believe it heats the water, at least not like my previous Bissel did. The cleaning water coming out is only as hot as the tap water used.There was also dripping and seeping when emptying and refilling tanks.after the carpets, I had to mop the floors. And the clean up-yikes! It takes just as long to disassemble and clean all the parts as it did to clean the carpets. What a mess!! With no way to dry most of the parts either, they've been sprawled throughout my house for 3 days now, drying out before storing-- the hose still dripping whenever I move it. Making me wonder if I'll ever bother to use it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product to clean my carpet. I have 4 bog dogs that have a lot of thick coats and shed a lot. This device is easy to clean after using. I haven't found a single vacuum cleaner that picks up all of the dog hair. So, dog hair does get sucked up when cleaning the carpet. It is extremely easy to rinse the dog hair out of the machine after using this carpet cleaner. This is so important because the dog hair could cause the machine to get clogged and not suck up any water on future uses. Works great!! I highly recommend this for dog owners.

Had an older Bissell shampooed that always did a better job than any company or rented machine. This new model does the best job on carpets than the earlier model. Just go slowly and see the results for yourself. The cleaning attachment for the brushes and vacuum portions works so well it looks new after the cleaning!

The last one cleaned well, but continuously broke off the spin shaft and at more than $45 per replacement part, I quickly became disenchanted. Four house cats, two indoor/outdoor dogs and a husband incapable of removing shoes when entering the house created the seemingly insurmountable task of keeping my rugs clean. I took a chance and.....YES!!! I'm thrilled with my Bissell cleaner and the cleaning formula. My rugs smell clean and feel clean. Stains are gone! I am pleased. Heck, I may get more cats now that I can clean and know rugs are clean. Wish the cord was a bit longer.
