I have one dog with short fur and I use the machine once a week on about 1,400 square feet. It worked well the first 2 times and started to fail randomly on the third use. The water did not seem to come out and the brushes would not move. Since this can be user error, I will post an updated rating and review in a few weeks. I like how easy disassembling is and cleaning after use is a breeze. The machine has excellent suction power and I was attracted to the 5 year warranty. Time will tell!

What if the spot is in the middle of the carpet? The directions clearly state that you should not leave it in one spot or it could damage the carpet. This is a ridiculous flaw in the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an older Bissell carpet cleaner that broke. This Carpet cleaner works very well its very user friendly it also has removable sections to make cleaning the machine easier after use. The only complaint I have is I don't understand why the dirty water tank can only be half filled before the machine stops sucking up the dirty water. Gets kinda annoying as you frequently have to empty the tank and its only half full, also note this is not a unique problem with my machine, this is how its designed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my wife! She was so reluctant on getting one because of cost. I just pulled the trigger and got it for her. She couldn't be happier! She was so impressed by the way it made the house smell and the carpet feel! Fantastic machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm obsessed with this carpet shampooer. It is the easiest and best I've ever used and owned. It's light and is like pushing your typical vacuum. It's amazing at getting stains out. My oldest daughter had a puppy who had numerous accidents on her bedroom carpet. She moved out and I was left to clean year old dog urine out of the carpet is disgusting and awful looking to say the least. I didn't know if the shampooer would get these old gross stains out but it did!!! AND it was easy! I'm not done either! It has a tray that you pour water in and it cleaned the brushes and sucks the water into the dirty water reservoir. Last but not least I have always hated how hair gets stuck in the machine and it's there forever because you can't get anything up the tiny thin area where the water gets sucked up. This has a tool for that and it works amazing! If you're on the fence don't be. Buy this machine it's amazing! I've owned several carpet shampooers this by far is the best hands down no competition its better than my far more expensive Rug Dr and came with so many attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro carpet cleaner. First of all, it's easy to use and easy to clean. It does a great job cleaning up any spills or messes created by our dogs. The water and solution are heated by the machine which makes cleaning more effective. I also love the options that we have in choosing how much solution is sprayed onto the carpet. This gives us control over how long we want our carpet to dry after it's been cleaned. Cleaning the brushes and emptying the tanks are a breeze. We're really glad we got this carpet cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine to replace an old Bissell, and I am pleased to report that this new design addresses almost all the issues I had with the old one. The suction is very strong and leaves the carpet drier. It's super easy to disassemble and clean after use. I also like the spot treatment spray feature. Two things would make it perfect. 1. The dirty water tank capacity isn't as big as it looks because it requires emptying when it's only about half full. 2. Some other brands have a soap dispenser so you can easily switch from clean to rinse without emptying and refilling the water tank.

It did take several passes but that's because it hasn't been done in a while. Will use this one more often since it is easier and lighter. Thank you Bissell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so surprised how clean my carpet and area rug was after using this! I have a senior cat that misses his litter box sometimes and two large dogs that bring in dirt and It is also so easy to use for the large areas for the dogs or the small spots for the cat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to use......does a fantastic job. I have two dogs and two cats and it did an excellent job on the carpets. It is easy clean up. It is kind of hard to get to the brushes for cleaning. I am afraid of breaking plastic cover. Also wish dirty water tank was a little bigger. But I do highly recommend this product. You can get use to tank and cleaning brushes as it is not impossible to work with.
