Not just for keeping the carpets clean in our rental with pets, but my son got really sick and got the carpet. Even a week later when we got this, it did such a great job getting the smell and stain out of the light colored carpet. We clean so much more often now that we have this in our house. I highly recommend and very happy we purchased this.

I got a puppy a few months ago and wish I had bought this carpet cleaner sooner. We only have 1 room in our house with carpet, which is our bedroom, but it can get dirty pretty quickly, even being careful with not wearing shoes in the house. I rented one of those big industrial cleaners once before from a local home improvement store, which worked great, but it's so big and bulky and not ideal for a home. I finally gave in and bought this cleaner and wish I had done so months ago. I used it right away and it works great! I had the liquid Bissell carpet cleaner too, which really does work. I like that this is lightweight and is almost like vacuuming. The big one I rented didn't tilt down like a vacuum, which made it uncomfortable to use and not as convenient as this one. If I didn't buy this, I wouldn't be renting that other one as often, but now that we own this, it will be used all the time! I used it on a 5' x 7' area rug too, and it definitely got it a lot cleaner. I have nothing negative to say about this at all. It seems a little pricey, which is why I was hesitant about purchasing it, but I will be getting a lot of use out of it that's for share. I did a lot of research before buying this. There were others that were cheaper, but the reviews weren't as good, so I would rather spend a little more money and have something that will last for years. I'm curious to see if it works just as well on the carpets in my car. I'm going to try that soon and hope I am just as satisfied. This is a must though!

I was excited to finally get to try the Bissell Revolution Pet Pro. I read through the Quick Start/User Guide and to be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed. But once I looked over the machine and then referred back to the guide, I was good. I went to work on 2 small carpeted areas in our long foyer, the main high traffic area in our home. The Revolution Pet Pro was easy to manage. I liked that the water that is misted over the carpet wasn't excessive. At the base of the cleaner you could see the dirt that was being extracted from the carpet. It made me feel like I was truly accomplishing a normally dreaded task. When I was finished, I went to break down the pieces that come off in order to clean those parts of dirt, grime, hair, etc. I did have a bit of an issue trying to take apart the pieces at the base. But, after referring back to the guide, I was able to remove those pieces as well. I used the Bissell Professional Deep Clean Formula along with the Pet Stain & Odor + Antibacterial Formula in the machine. I was quite happy with the results. What's also nice about the Bissell Revolution Pet Pro is it's not heavy and bulky. I have mobility issues and yet I was able to maneuver this cleaner without any problems. My Spring cleaning is only partly completed. At least I don't have to dread cleaning the other carpets in my home. *I must disclose that I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

This is a really good machine! I adopted a 13 year old silky terrier with anxiety issues. She had peed on the carpet probably two dozen times before I finally looked for a better way to clean the carpet. After the first use all the stains were gone. Do to the amount of times she soiled the carpet I repeated the process the next day because of the smell of urine; which is do to the carpet not being properly cleaned for so long. I used the deep clean the first time, the next day I "express cleaned" the carpet again and then did a rinse as well. The results are exactly what I'd expect paying this much for a carpet cleaner! Not disappointed. I've had for about a week now so only time will tell on how long it keeps running in high performance but this truly is designed for pet owners. We have a high end vacuum but the Bissell still picked up the extra left behind hair. Super easy to clean with their rinse and storage tray. Plus I love that the dirty tank has an easy pour spout but also you can unscrew the bottom of you need to get a clump of hair out. The tool they give with it to clean the suction cover is amazing as well! Must have for pet owners because you don't want hair obstructing the suction. Also there's a filter to the dirty tank which you can easily wipe to prevent lose of suction do to hair. So far completely satisfied with the product.

I am constantly looking for a better carpet cleaner as I have two cats that vomit a lot due to the inherited disorder of the digestive system. I am very glad that PINCHME gave me an opportunity to try out Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner 1986. After a month using this machine (several times per week on the vomit spots), I am beyond pleased with its performance and quality. This machine cleans really well. It is effortless to remove stains on carpets. The carpet is soft after drying. I also like that the water tank is easily removed and cleaned. The 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool can vacuum in dry mode and remove spots and stains in wet modes. The whole cleaning process is actually very fun and fulfilling. I highly recommend this product even if you don't have pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, very straight forward. Look at your parts and pay attention to directions. Our oldest off to college and in an apartment. The dogs had left a few presents under his bed and had heavy traffic areas. Although the clean (1 gal)/dirty water tanks seem a little small...they are no smaller nor bigger than the old one I just disposed of. Initially, I'm impressed...and that's a difficult thing to do. The suction combined with the agitating brushes really cleaned the carpet up nicely. Even head on at the baseboards. After a couple of hours, I went back in and vacuumed; it looks great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially did not like the small fresh water tank, as it has to be refilled often. As I was refilling often with hot water that was not over temperature recommended by company somehow my fresh tank became slightly deformed where it slide onto machine. Now I cannot use my machine because I will need a new fresh water tank. This should be a simple fix, hoping not long and I can shampoo my carpets once again. The pros- the machine is light weight and has a nice carrying handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brush assembly gets clogged and cannot be flushed or cleaned without disassembly of the head. If left uncleaned, debris dries on and inhibits suction. The assembly is multiple screws, two belts, and all brittle plastic. Clearly untested in a pet environment. Yes, I dry vacuum and remove large debris before use.

I love this carpet cleaner. My dog is home at least 10 hours a day so she can't help but make messes. So I shampoo the carpets pretty regularly. I've used different machines hoover, bissell, and rented machines from the store. This machine by far cleans better than any machine I've used. I love that the clean water tank is separate from the dirty water. Did I mention I live in an apartment and my carpet looks better than it did when I moved in? I wasted my money trying other machines first. If I could I would go back and tell myself just buy this machine. It's worth the cost. It's easy to clean up after your done using it too.

I needed to clean my fathers carpets since he has several cats. Researched thoroughly before buying which would handle the job best. I was skeptic, but much to my surprising this machine went above and beyond, cleaning spots that I would have never imaged to be removable. I would recommend this product for Pet and non-pet owners. I am just unbelievable impressed with this product.
