Jan. 12, 2018, I ordered a new Bissell Pet, Model 1986 Carpet Cleaner a few weeks ago, & I used it for the first time, for a few hours this week, cleaning about 350 sq. ft. of carpeting, or 3 rooms of my home. I purchased this Bissell Machine, after researching various models-from Bissell & other Companies-because I like some of its features-esp. the 2 separate tanks, light weight, maneuverability, ability to clean carpet, & that I believe it can meet the cleaning needs of various people & homes(versatal). I believe my Bissel Machine did a good job in cleaning my 350 sq. ft. of carpeting in my home, & am pleased with the results this week, yes it took time & work, but if you want to do a good job, that is necessary. My carpeting had not been cleaned in a few years & so I wanted to clean it thoroughly, & following some comments from other customers & website , I came up with this plan,(which worked well); a. First, I vacume the carpet area. b. Then, I fill the upper tank with hot water only, no soap, & run the machine over the carpet for a precleaning step. c. Then I fill the upper tank-with hot water & 2 ounces of soap, & use the Machine on Express Mode a 2nd time over the carpet area, & vacuming up the dirt & debris. The results were excellent, & I am pleased with how well the large area of carpeting has been cleaned. My Bissell Machine ran well, cleaned well, & so far, after 2 days of work, I have not had any problems, no broken parts, no excess of water left afterward, etc. It does take some time to clean the Machine-I rinse the 2 covers & 2 tanks in the sink, & I use a scrub brush & 2 small paint brushes to clean the rest of the Machines parts. I will add, the Staff did a good job of delivering the Carpet Cleaner & few other items I ordered to my home, within 1-2 weeks during Dec., though I am still waiting for 2 rubber belts (extra parts). I am thankful to Bissell for my new Carpet Cleaner, & I recommend this model to others. Respectfully, Dave, Calif

Pro-The floor cleaner works great. It has turned an old area rug new again. Con-The bare floor attachment I ordered was confirmed correct and to follow directions. Sent pictures to Bissell and now sending a new attachment. Con- I went into the store to purchase my item and saw on the box that it came with 2 cleaning solutions. But after opening box and reading manual I read then sea they are samples. I was dooped by a picture and the English language. Other competitors state sample or trial size. Customer service said if I open and read the manual I would of known this. I asked why I would open a box in the store and dig through a box to find out. They did not have an answer and ended the chat.

By far the best shampooing unit I have owned. Cleans well as can be cleaned itself very easily. I'm curious to see if it stands the test of a few years, where some of my other Bissell products stopped functioning correctly. Such as sucking up the dirty water.

We used this machine once. PRO:Loved how powerful it is. It has much better suction than previous Bissell Models and Deep Cleans. CON: when we refilled the tank, we could not get the Bissell shampoo mixture to dispense at all. Even the Express Shot failed to dispense. Great if you want to only use once!

I was very impressed with this product. The assembly was pretty minimal and easy to complete. The product has nice weight to it and is very durable. It really held up to its claims to removing the stains as well as any odors! If you own a pet I would definitely recommend this product.

When PinchMe had an opportunity to get a vacuum to clean floors, my thought was I would not be picked and would have to shop for a vacuum cleaner. Bissell, you exceeded my expectations! We have 2 cats and one dog, a grandbaby that crawls and many get togethers. I like to have my carpet cleaned 2 times a year and spot clean with your spot cleaner. All I can say is this gets deep down clean and pet odors from accidents are gone. No lingering smells are left. I admit I was heavy handed on cleaning so I made 2 passes after the carpet was cleaned to get up the excess water that I sprayed. It works like a charm. Thank you for the Pro 2X Revolution Pet Pro Caroet Cleaner. This is a product worth purchasing.

I did a lot of research before I bought this machine and I am so glad I bought it!! I had stains from my dog on my carpet and I had to get rid of them. I am so pleased to say I cleaned my carpet and all of these stains are GONE. I did follow the directions EXACTLY as noted by Bissell. I will use Bissell if accidents occur to avoid problems in the future. I do think this machine could be used to clean an office if you work in a building where you are responsible for your space. As far as having problems pushing the unit, I had absolutely none. It was easy to fill the water/cleaner tank and empty the dirty water tank.

This is the best carpet cleaner I've ever owned. I was a fan of Rug Doctor for many years, but had to switch my allegiance when I tried the Bissell ProHeat. This cleaner is lightweight when compared to the Rug Doctor and is much more maneuverable. It picked up my pet's hair much better than my Rug Doctor Wide Track. Furthermore, you can push and pull this machine, whereas the Rug Doctor is pull only. This allows you to make forward and backward passes and clean much more quickly. The only con is that the capacity of the Bissell ProHeat is much less than Rug Doctor. With a 1 gallon capacity of the ProHeat, versus the 3 1/2 of the Rug Doctor, you will be refilling water more often. But this is a small sacrifice to make for the benefits the Bissell ProHeat offers. It's more maneuverable and can get in places the Rug Doctor cannot, and it picks up more dirt and debris by far. And the Bissell also vacuums up the water better than Rug Doctor so your carpets dry faster. If you are a Rug Doctor fan and are wondering if it would be worth it to try the Bissell ProHeat, my response is a resounding YES!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Broke before could even use the first tank of cleaning solution. Absoute rip off! I tried several times to male it work and it is definitely a defect of some sort. I won't ever buy another Bissell product.

Bought this thing a year ago. First time i used it, i only needed the hose. Hose wouldnt work. The company graciously sent me a new one. Second time i used it, i only had to suck up spilled water on the rug, so naturally it worked fine. TODAY is the day i am no longer a bissell customer! Go to clean a seat on my car, the hose wont spray! Then go to shampoo a bedroom, mind you this is the first time putting formula in this machine!!!! Using the formula that CAME WITH THE MACHINE, took forever for it to get sucked up, it spread the formula all over the floor leaving big cleaner streaks and the dirty water basin fills up before even half the cleaner water was gone! Thoroughly disghusted with bissell and of course when i for real use the dang machine the warranty is up so i cant even return it to get one worth the money i spent on this piece of junk!!!!!
