It really does the job. My carpets are bright again. I have a powerful vacuum. This pulled up a lot of additional hair and dirt. My only big disappointment was that I read you could order a bare floor cleaner (attachment) . When I went to order this it is no longer available. Otherwise it does its job. Just know not to put too much cleaner into the mix otherwise it will be foamy I would buy this again.

We bought this because our puppy was having a field day ruining our carpet. We only have carpet in 2 rooms so it was a splurge. Little did I know all I'd do with this machine. I bought a steam mop/cleaner at around the same time and I just wasn't impressed with it. After using the BISSELL to clean the carpets and thrilled when it worked wonders on our thick pile carpet, I tried it on our carpeted stairs with the included attachment. Then we used it on the furniture. Then we tried it on small spills with the attachment. And then I found that BISSELL had a hard floors attachment. So. After breaking my mop I got it and to my amazement it was incredible! It does so much! We used it to suck up water and hair after pet baths. We've used it to clean cushions that won't fit in the washer and on mattresses after 'accidents'. It cleans the carpet in my car and the car seats. This is an all in one go to machine. We have since bought the Crosswave. It's magical too but if I had only one that I could buy I'd definitely be this carpet cleaner!!! It's not just for carpets!

We recently purchased this cleaner 4/9/19 and we have used it several times for our animals that are old and have some problems with going on the carpets. Probably used it a handful of times until last Friday, 4/19/19, my husband went to use it and the belt for the brushes had snapped and was no longer spinning. Our previous carpet cleaner we've had for over 10 years and does not have a belt. We are considering returning this for a more reliable carpet cleaner.

We have white (well they were 20 years ago) carpets in a heavy traffic area, two small dogs, one big dog with an illness which cause gastric issues, and kids. I have the rugs cleaned professionally twice a year and also own a small bissell portable system. Not to mention I have used every spot cleaning product on the market for pet urine pet stains and high traffic. While wondering around a box store recently I started checking out different upright cleaners. I did more research and the hubby decided to go get one...worst case I return it. Holy cow what a great job. First use I did just the express clean and am thrilled! Easy to use, I really took my time with slow paces, didn't move any furniture, and only did a hall and connected office. The system without water etc in it is about the same weight as my dyson cleaner. For the cost (which is 50% less than having the pros come and do a mediocre job I complain about) it's a dream! 45 min later it's dry and we are thrilled. Eager to do the deep max clean. I am certain if we kept up with regular cleanings the rugs will stay so clean

Living in a newly built home in South Carolina, the dirt here is red. It stained and made my carpets look bad. Even though we would wipe off the dirt from the dog's paws, we would bring in dirt off our shoes. This carpet cleaner picked up so much dirt on the deep clean setting that it was unbelievable. I am very happy with this cleaner. My carpets look new again. I even used the cleaner on my large throw entry rug, and looks great. I would definitely recommend this carpet cleaner for anyone who has the same issue with red dirt like we have. It is easy to fill the top tank, and empty the bottom tank.

I clean carpets for a living and have never experienced a clean like this before in one shot and in half the time. This machine is very easy to use, is light weight and doesn't leave the carpet soaking wet like most machines. I love the pretreater feature especially because I have 5 active kids and a puppy. I also love that there are adjustable cleaning modes, one is for a deep clean and the other is express clean. Drying time for both modes are very quick and even quicker if you use a fan while you're working. I recommend to anyone with carpet.

I received this BISSELL ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro from PINCHme in exchange for my honest review. Let me first just say... WOW! What a great product, and I've tried a lot of shampooers in my time. I am always looking for the next best thing when it comes to cleaning supplies, this is it! I try to shampoo twice yearly and it cut the time it takes to both clean and dry easily in half. It got deep in my carpets and made them look brighter than they have in 10 years. It is fantastic for pet stains and tackled old, set in urine stains as well as "dog smell". It's so lightweight that I was easily able to maneuver and carry it from spot to spot and room to room. Just so SO great. I immediately gave my old shampooer to my parents once I tested this baby out. In love!!

Had a much older carpet shampooer that worked okay but was very noisy and not easy to clean or use. This Bissell Pro Heat is an amazing improvement! I used it in "deep clean" mode on carpeting that had numerous older stains (some pet, some not) and it got everything out the first go-round. The carpet looks brand-new. And I love that someone who actually thought about cleaning designed this...you can actually get to the brushes, etc. to remove debris after cleaning. Four paws up!

Brand new out of the box. Put together according to assembly instructions. This model, proheat 2X Revolution Pet needs redesigned. The roller brushes rotate continuously even while using the upholstery attachment. Needless to say, while I was cleaning my loveseat with the hose and attachment, the carpet cleaner began to get louder as I cleaned. The rollers eventually quit rotating. when I moved the cleaner to investigate, there was tiny black plastic pieces all over my carpet. Upon further investigation, I noticed the belt was badly frayed and the gears on the side of the roller were ground off. Mind you , I didn't even get to clean my carpet yet. The cleaner sat in the upright position and never moved as I cleaned my upholstery. It basically chewed itself up just sitting there. What a pile of JUNK !!!!!!!

Dirty water tank leaked, so I paid for a new one. After a short time, that one leaked. Left wheel fell off. No way to put it back on. The plastic water tanks and plastic housing are very thin gauge plastic. Belts flimsy. limsy. With machine in a upright position it is hard to push. For the cost of this unit, cost ratio for Bissel very favorable, reliability for the customer very poor. Needs redesigning.
