This carpet cleaner does an excellent job, better results than I expected. There was a fairly large stain on some carpet that another carpet cleaner did not get out all the way, just faded it. This one got it out completely the first pass, with pretreatment.

Bissell Pro Pet model 1968 arrived almost assembled it took minutes to complete assembly. There were just a few parts and it screw to attached. Using the carpet cleaner was almost as easy. A few strokes and the carpet was clean and fresh smelling. Although my two cats are clean and litter trained they lose hair add an astounding rate. This is how easy it is; Mix the cleaning solution with water, plug-in, run the cleaner one stroke over the carpet, dry the water back and ta-da clean almost dry carpet.I haven't use the upholstery tools yet that's a task for another day. I can't imagine that anyone wouldn't benefit from owning this cleaner. Thank you for the opportunity to test it.

Replaced our old bissell cleaner with this product- it works great, is much quieter, overall great performance - but I have an area rug that cannot be cleaned with the brushes on. So now I find myself using our old carpet cleaner that I meant to get rid of. I wonder why the company decided to get rid of an easy function like that.

I have carpeting that is nearly white and 3 dogs with lots of hair. Love the fact that not only does it do a good job but that I can take all of the areas that collect the hair dirt etc apart and have my cleaner look like new every time I use it. I have another brand that holds onto the dirt, hair etc so it looks filthy after I use it even if I try to clean it I just can't get to the dirty areas.

I bought this unit because I had some "old" stains on my Berber carpet. I must admit that they were there for more than a year. I DID use Bissell's pretreatment on them and then used my new 2X Revolution as recommended! I was impressed, for sure! It took ALL the stains up! I have not attached and used the hose, yet; such as, on upholstery, but if it cleans as well as the floor, I will be impressed some more!

I have dogs and cats. However I have elderly dogs that are having urinary incontinence problems. So my beige carpet was not clean at all. And this carpet cleaner did a better job than any professional has done on my carpet that didn't have pet stains.

I bought this cleaner when I purchased my home. Cleaned all carpets in the bedrooms. The previous owners had a cat, this cleaner got all the cat hair out of the carpet. I also had some paint stains that this cleaner removed off the carpet! I love the self cleaning function!

The day after I brought home this cleaner, our older dog became sick and I had a real mess to try it out on. I used the spot cleaner directly on stains and was amazed how quickly and easily they disappeared. I then did light clean over a large area and it all looked great. I have used the machine on my 85 year old dad's carpets which were pretty bad and they look wonderful. He was very surprised because he had coffee stains that my previous machine had not gotten up and this one did with no problem. I love it!!!

While it took me several attempts to use this machine to get the best results, I now am so happy that I bought it. It has successfully given me peace of mind in maintaining the cleanliness in my home due to occasional messes by my senior dog. The four stars is because it does require cleaning after each use and the clean water tank runs low fairly quickly.
