I bought this unit because I had some "old" stains on my Berber carpet. I must admit that they were there for more than a year. I DID use Bissell's pretreatment on them and then used my new 2X Revolution as recommended! I was impressed, for sure! It took ALL the stains up! I have not attached and used the hose, yet; such as, on upholstery, but if it cleans as well as the floor, I will be impressed some more!

I dont have any pets so I cant speak to that aspect of the machine, nor did I try the furniture attachment as we have leather. What I can speak to is that it cleans carpets well! The design is great and allows for easy filling, emptying and cleaning of the machine. The weight of it is perfect as to allow for nice maneuverability and for great suction. I have read some other reviews mentioning very wet carpets and long dry times - but my experience is the carpet dries in about 3 hours - but I do live in Arizona. I would recommend that if you have this issue - just go over the area again using just the suction (no solution). It would be nice if it held more water and had its own heater for the water, but then you are adding complexity and cost. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to help maintain their carpets...

I love this vacuum cleaner! If you have pets, this is definitely the vacuum cleaner for you. The powerglide makes it vacuuming much easier and smoother. The swivel is great, too! I love how easy it is to empty/wash out the bagless canister, get to/clean the filters. Well worth every penny! I only wish that they would make a longer hose for the lift off.

This carpet cleaner does an excellent job, better results than I expected. There was a fairly large stain on some carpet that another carpet cleaner did not get out all the way, just faded it. This one got it out completely the first pass, with pretreatment.

Replaces another carpet clearner that lasted about 15 years. The cleaning power with the dual brushes is amazing. This is totally worth it right there. The not so good is the tanks. My old unit has separate tank for the solution and water. This one you have to mix every time which is a bit annoying. Also the tank is smaller. Perhaps to keep it 'lightweight.' The waste tank is also smaller...and the part that turns the suction off when it gets "full" does this at about halfway. So consider that the tank can only hold about half the amount it looks like because you have to empty it. Again... annoying! However, the cleaning power of this far outweighs the shortfalls in regards to the tanks. I highly recommend this!

I loved how easy to use the Bissell Pro pet carpet cleaner is. The one and done feature of cleaning is a plus for a busy mom. I am unsure if it was my carpets or the machine but after washing the carpets there was a distinct odor (like a wet pet) after use. The odor did go away once the carpets were dry.

I have a very old wall-to-wall carpet that has a very dirty walkway path in the hallway, as well to each room. Plus, just getting a puppy, there have been accidents. I was able to clean my carpet in the living room, my bedroom and hallway, along with spotted areas in my boys' rooms and it did decent. The spots didn't really come out and probably needed to be treated first. The hallway, though still has the imbedded trail path; is as clean as it can get. It would be nice if it was able to clean the carpet next to the walls better, as well, have the squirt portion be more of a fan or spray instead of a straight stream. It was nice to step on it when needed. I haven't used the furniture portion of it. I usually remove my covers and wash them. When I shampooed some carpet without vacuuming first, it did collect a lot of dust and spewed it back out at times. I just picked them up and tossed them. Having a good spot remover treatment would be good that doesn't leave residue on the carpet.

It comes with this little tool that makes clean up 100 times better. The accessories come in an adorable little mesh bag.

We have always used Bissell products in our household so we decided to try the ProHeat 2X as we needed a carpet cleaner. We were not the least bit disappointed! This thing not only cleans the carpets thoroughly but it is so easy to use and clean after use! I am so amazed at how well it works and left my carpets without stains.

The Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro allows you to maneuver under furniture and get closer to the wall and other objects. I have read some reviews of water leaks but I have not experienced this. I have a lot of cats so I tried the Bissell Pet Stain Formula Kit #1033 and it removed the urine smells and also removed very old cat stains. The carpet looks and smells as new as possible on my 8-year old carpet. I will update this review in the future if anymore positive or negative items come up.
