I bought this cleaner when I purchased my home. Cleaned all carpets in the bedrooms. The previous owners had a cat, this cleaner got all the cat hair out of the carpet. I also had some paint stains that this cleaner removed off the carpet! I love the self cleaning function!

I have 6+ year old carpet and an older cat who has started having more accidents thru no fault of her own....its what happens when you're a 15 yr old cat - she is a medium to long hair cat so her hair takes up residence as soon as I finish vacuuming, along with the prerequisite dust of an apartment. I've taken it to areas she has done her #1 business outside of the box as well as her various throw up spots, along with some other non-cat caused stains and it has done what an old Hoover Agility never could take care of and then some. I was previously using a Bissell spot cleaner which got to be an issue when the hose finally started showing its age with leaking. I'm quite impressed with this cleaner and am ready to attack another area of my apartment with both traffic build up and addition cat problem spots, so I can finally have some decent looking carpet again. If you are looking for a decent carpet cleaner, you cannot go wrong with this one. It may take a few attempts to clean up areas but it'll be taken care of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After power washing my outdoor rug with very little success, I decided I would give it one last try with my Bissell pro heat 2x before I threw it away. While the rug was still in good shape, it had been neglected for over a year and I felt it was beyond cleaning. I did hesitate for a minute. I thought all this ground-in dirt and algae may be too much for it to handle, and I didn't want to damage the machine. But, after using my Bissell for 3 years, and seeing that it could tackle any job I put in front of it, I thought I would try. I would start by cleaning a corner first to see how it would handle it. The results were shocking as you can see in the pictures. I'm so excited to be able to enjoy my rug again. Here is a big THANK YOU to all the engineers who developed this product. It's an incredible machine. Well done!

I would buy this product again and would definitely tell my Family and Friends about my 1986 Bissell Pet pro heat shampooer/carpet cleaner. I'm very pleased with the results. I told my Son that it cleaned my carpets better than the Big Green machine that I rented. My money was well spent !!!

This is my THIRD Bissell Steam Cleaner for carpets. When I used it for the first time I read the instructions very carefully even though I wasn't new to steam cleaning my carpet. I kept watching the recovery tank & seeing very little water being sucked up. Checked & rechecked multiple time to make certain it was in place properly...it was. I went over the carpet multiple times attempting to retrieve as much water as possible. Long story short....it took all day & half the night with three box fans on high & it was still slightly damp. Now all I have to do is worry about some mold growing underneath. :-(

I used this on my carpet for the first time the day after I bought it, my cat vomited on the carpet and it was a mess. Used the solution that it came with and hot water and it cleaned it up like it never happened. I'm very happy with my purchase. I bought this to replace a 10 year old Bissell carpet shampooer. This one is lighter than my old one so is easier to get up and down the basement stairs. I like that there are 2 different tanks.

You'll swear that that stain isn't going to come out but Voila it's gone and It won't come back! Wowsers! I was really bummed when mine started to not draw up what I put down but it's just a seal so it's ordered and on it's way and it was less than $5. I ordered 2 just because lol. A guy wants the job to be finished for the long term when he's done. Yep this is an awesome "tool", I'll gladly "tenaciously" use this tool again "next year"! "Perfect"! Robert Oh P.S. I had coffee stains in my truck and thought I could just spot the stains away. Nope the spotted areas were so clean I had to do the whole truck. I Literally caused an "very-obvious clean spot lol. I had no idea my carpet was that dirty. The truck was very new and I kept it vacuumed and very clean inside: I thought lol.

I used it in my couch, my thick (very thick) carpet and bare floors and works perfectly... it worth every penny!!! I've read some reviews saying that the carpet remained socked after for hours when using the deep cleaning mode and it's absolutely not thrue!!! It stays damp for a couple of hours just as much as it was with my old machine but infinitely cleaner!!! I can tell by the color of the water that comes out! I love the product in every single aspect of it! Super recommend it!

I'm not someone who leaves reviews, but hot. Dag this thing deserves one. And a round of applause. With three dogs and two cats, my carpets haven't felt or looks like this since they were installed.

I bought this about a month ago, got it all set up and planned on using it soon. Unfortunately, I got rid of all the packing since garbage day was the next day. I finally got around to using it in my hallway and it seems to clean pretty darn good. The only issue I have with it? It leaks! I haven't found exactly where yet, but I had a pretty good sized puddle underneath it after about 15 minutes of it just sitting there. Without the box, I am now stuck with it. I'm glad it works great, but very disappointed about it leaking. Yes, I've learned my lesson about getting rid of the box until I fully check out the item!!
