I've had my ProHeat for longer then I can remember and I replaced small things like belts but it is the greatest carpet cleaner. This is my first and only suggestion for any product ever but it just works all the time. I use it, then I clean it and half the time someone in the family wants to use it. Thank you Bissell!

My carpets really needed cleaning. I got 1 wall to wall (extra large) and 2 large area rugs done in about 2 hours. I couldn't believe how dirty they were! When finished they felt really wet and I was worried they were never going to dry. But in just a few hours they were dry and fluffy - like new! I Love this thing!! Easy to fill and empty, and cleanup was a breeze!

Had a Bissell before that did a good job but every time we used it we had to have it serviced to unclog the water dispenser so I was leery of buying another one. After reading reviews we decided to take a chance. and we are so glad we did. We bought a ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro a year ago and used it to clean carpets and rugs. It did such a good job we decided to test it by using it to clean an old carpet in the garage. Now the garage carpet doesn't need replacing. A few months later we decided to clean furniture as we live in the desert and dust settles on furniture all the time. The Revolution Pro Pet did a terrific job. Pieces that didn't look dirty became clean. We are very happy with this machine. Fast forward to carpet cleaning this year and "Oh no!" our wonderful carpet cleaner leaks. We call Bissell Customer Care and explain our problem. They are very nice and walk us through a couple of problem solvers that did not work and decided to send us a new Revolution Pet Pro. They honored their 5 year warranty with no hassles and we have happily finished cleaning our carpet, rugs, and furniture for this year. The ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro is the best carpet cleaner we have ever owned. It has cleaned every thing we have asked it to.

The drive belt broke the second time I used it...They don't sale these belt at local stores so I had to order one and wait for it to come in the finish the job. Very disappointed. It works fine but I just bought it a month ago and the belt already broke...

I love this machine! It is so easy to clean. I have a very thick pile, large area rug and two hallway runners. This is the only machine I have found that will get them really clean and soft. My older dog had accidents from time to time on the large rug before she died and my new dog has also peed on the larger rug. My cats cats love to play on all the rugs, which gets them hairy. The bissell is as light and easy to maneuver as a vacuum cleaner and it really does the job. I am most impressed by how easy it is to clean all the pet hair and carpet fibers from the machine. No matter how well I vacuum the thick rugs, there is usually a bit of carpet fiber to clean out of the bissell along with pet hair and dirt. Removing all the parts and getting them clean and reassembling everything is so easy and takes me about 20 minutes. I have had my bissell for about a year now and it's still going strong. I deep clean my rugs 1-2 times per month. If and when the machine dies I will immediately purchase another. It's that good.

I used this ProHeat 2X Revolution after my previous Bissel failed after 10 years of service and it is MUCH better. The use of 2 tanks, mutlple brushes and more powerful suction is great. In addtion, the brushes do not get tangled in cat hair - which I have a lot of with 3 cats. Cleanup is easy once you get used to the disassembly steps and the cleaning tool is great. Water removal is improved. It would be helpful to have a front handle in the middle for manipulation around objects and tight places. Otherwise, best pet cleaner yet.

I own German Shepherds, and cats, now just cats. Hair, odor, pee stains all through-out my home. Christmas is coming, Thanksgiving around the corner, I love to do my spring cleaning then, I change around my living room for the Christmas tree. I couldn't believe my eyes the canister contained the brownest dirty water it was even stucking up cat hair that my Shark vacuum didn't pull up. So far I emptied five dirty containers of water in a small area of living room space.

After owning 3 Hoover "steam" cleaners that don't last a long time and parts quickly become obsolete, and now getting a puppy, we liked the Consumer Reports rating of this machine and bought it. WOW! It's worth the expense! Assembly is easy, it's relatively light, the cord is long, rear wheels are large (rolls easily), and ease of after-use cleanup is exemplary. The twin powered brushes and spray system are outstanding, the "foot" suction is outstanding, and the recovery water is quite hot - so it seems the solution gets a significant temperature boost. The hose length is adequate for 1/2 a staircase and the spray is good, and my only disappointment is the hose suction is good but not great. Included accessories for the hose are a carpet tool and upholstery tool, but not a bare floor suction attachment. The Bissell web site sells many accessories you might want, but these 3 are probably the only ones needed.

I tried the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner because I needed a Better option for cleaning my carpet. I love that the head comes apart in several spots for easy cleaning, hair and debris removal and access to the rollers. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to turn off the spot sprayer, but the directions were very clear how to do so, i just hadn't read them completely. I have not found a purpose for the spot sprayer, so i do not use it. I use the trigger to get the whole area. The vacuum function is helpful and effective, though i wish we could attach a larger canister or bag for a full vacuum job. The shampoo function on the floor and with the attachments worked great, dried fast and minimized leftover stains. Overall, i was very happy with this Machine and would buy it again.
