I was quite impressed by this Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution pet Pro Carpet Cleaner and the way that worked extremely well to lift stains and get my carpets extremely clean without having to go over the area several times. I felt like one of the best things about it is the fact that you can actually trigger a pre trainer from a foot plate on the cleaning machine itself. The pretreater helps to remove stuck-on spots and stains but also makes it simpler to clean period another really great features the fact that it has and upholstery tool that you can actually use dry and also wet to clean off furniture. It has a removable brush cover that makes it extremely easy to clean the rotating brush. I also felt like cleaner and easily moved around to clean all different areas in my house. I actually have two dogs and a cat and have major issues with hair and this cleaner definitely held up to it and had a very strong suction. I was also very easy to clean. I used it in all different places in my house I like the fact that it even got out stuck on pet stains from my carpets. I would definitely recommend it simply because can be used in different ways and on different services within your home but also is very powerful and lightweight enough to move around

Purchased so my wife would have a lightweight unit to take up stairs. Didn't expect it to be so poorly constructed. Rollers have gears on the ends. They strip out almost immediately. This causes the belts to bind and eventually break. Would not recommend this to anyone.

It's not cheap but the phrase "You get what you pay for." applies to the cleaner. I have 3 cats who like to knock over water bowls and leave hairballs or vomit all over the house. We've been living in this old house for 3 years and couldn't afford a rug cleaner until now. The water was black when we were finished and the water stains, pet vomit, soda, and mystery stains were gone. It was a relief to see all those stains vanish. The landlord will never find out we have cats by looking at the carpet. It dried out overnight so wet carpet isn't present unreasonably long. I would recommend this cleaner to those who can afford it's steep price.

I have multiple dogs and cats. Two are geriatric and have accidents. I need a cleaner that's heavy-duty in that it needs to tackle urine in the carpet. The ProHeat 2X does that, but this machine is poorly-designed and clumsy: it sloshes filthy water around if I try to move it beyond simply running it s-l-o-w-l-y over a flat surface (when I tried to get the machine over a little step in the house, filthy-pee-water went everywhere). It has an incredibly SMALL cleaning span as it doesn't hold enough water to clean a tiny bedroom in one go. I have to shut everything down and re-fill with the scalding hot water that has no carry handle. The older model had a handle and a larger tank. This machine also hurts my back terribly. It has a lot of "bells and whistles" but none of them work for me, and I've watched the videos and fought with the cheap-o attachments on multiple occasions. Basically, it's so inconvenient, I'm living with disgusting carpets because that's easier than pulling out the machine that scalds my hands, wrenches my back, takes an hour to clean a single room (and two days to dry completely) and likely will make more of a mess than I had to begin. Save your money; get an older, less expensive model -I wish I had.

Our Gsd made a large mess on our carpet after eating something he shouldn't have. It was obvious that our little rug doctor spot cleaner wasn't big enough for the job. With a little bit of research we purchased the pro clean 2x. It worked great and made the clean up fast and easy. The solution tank is large and easy to fill. The dirty water tank is just as large and easy to empty. The extra attachments that came with it make it easy to cover all situations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As for the main carpet cleaning it is a decent machine, but I wish I used the attachments during the return period because I would be returning! When you attempt to clean with the attachments, say on a hardwood floor while cleaning the stairs, the machine leaks water out of the bottom so most of the solution ends up on the floor causing a mess and potential damage while the attachments do absolutely nothing close to cleaning! Useless if you want to clean anything with attachments.

Had a much older carpet shampooer that worked okay but was very noisy and not easy to clean or use. This Bissell Pro Heat is an amazing improvement! I used it in "deep clean" mode on carpeting that had numerous older stains (some pet, some not) and it got everything out the first go-round. The carpet looks brand-new. And I love that someone who actually thought about cleaning designed this...you can actually get to the brushes, etc. to remove debris after cleaning. Four paws up!

I have white carpet. This machine did an excellent job of cleaning a 24 hour old dog vomit stain that I had cleaned up as best I could before purchasing the machine. It even worked on an older stain that had been professionally steam cleaned. And with the peroxide formula cleaner I felt the spot was well sanitized. The cleaner is easy to use and easy to take apart for clean up afterward. It will saturate carpet if you aren't careful, but if you keep going slowly over the wet area it does a great job of extracting. What was in the waste container looked to be roughly the same amount of cleaner put in. The carpet felt completely dry after approximately 2 hours with the ceiling fan on medium and the air conditioning running normally. You can only clean small areas at a time, but it works fast, and it is far better than trying to clean on hands and knees or paying a professional $100 to come to the house.

I would buy this product again and would definitely tell my Family and Friends about my 1986 Bissell Pet pro heat shampooer/carpet cleaner. I'm very pleased with the results. I told my Son that it cleaned my carpets better than the Big Green machine that I rented. My money was well spent !!!
