I used hot water with the carpet cleaning formula. I had some really tough stains on my carpet for years, and this upright carpet cleaner is amazing!!! Best carpet cleaner for the $. I couldn't be happier with this product and I highly recommend to anyone who loves lightweight upright carpet cleaners.

OMG!! I never usually give reviews but had to let people know how great this product is!! It did a fantastic job on my rugs! It had been a long time since they had been cleaned. I have a family of 5 plus a dog and a cat. When I was done all the rugs looked brand new and they are 20 years old. I then decided to do my Mother's rugs that are 24 years old and only been cleaned 1 time. There was a path from her front door to the kitchen, from the constant foot traffic and a very large grease stain. Lo and behold the Bissell removed the grease stain and cleaned the footpath easily! The rug looks brand new! I have a very happy 82-year-old mother! Thank you Bissell!

I have owned bissell for well over 20 years.This unit replaced a 1548 BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution which I was so disappointed with as I was replacing parts constantly and it just did not do a good job. I have owned and use this Pet pro now for 1 year and now feel confident it is what I have always expected from Bissell a great product!! I have a few pets and lots of rescue pet traffic so I am always cleaning the carpets I cannot believe how well this is working with no issues, no problems & a great result. Thanks for all you do to help pets find forever homes and thank you for a product that is great!

I've had two of these machines. Accidentally cut the cord on the first one and quickly replaced it with another. Only draw back is how LOUD it is.

I used this for the first time yesterday. I love how user friendly and easy it was. It did a great job cleaning my Beagle accident stained carpet.Clean up was quick and easy also. I purchased a hoover a few,years ago and had nothing but trouble from the very start. Thank you !!

This carpet cleaner works great! I used it on a light colored carpet that had numerous stains that had been there for YEARS. I've previously cleaned this carpet with my Hoover carpet cleaner, and the Hoover just couldn't remove the stains. I just got the Bissell as a Christmas present and I couldn't wait to try it out on that carpet. What a difference! The Bissell removed EVERY MARK and that carpet is 38 years old! It actually looks new! So happy with my Bissell cleaner!

I am impressed with how well this unit cleans the carpet. Have a rescue puppy right now and of course, she has accidents. No problem with the ProHeat 2X, it cleans up messes with ease. I especially like the fact that after use, the machine can be taken apart and cleaned, this is a BIG bonus for me.

I've used carpet cleaners in the past that never really got my carpets clean, so I wasn't expecting much. I was really surprised at how clean my carpets got - even the parts with older stains. I have an 18 year old cat so this thing is a godsend for removing hairball stains and other messes.

I received a free product from Pinchme for my family to review. My husband is the primary cleaner in our home and this isn't the first carpet cleaner he's used. His only complaint when comparing to other cleaners is the small reservoir needs to be dumped more often than other products. Otherwise he had no complaints, and trust me, I'd know if he did.
