I had a bissell carpet cleaner from about 10 years ago. I wore the screws out taking it apart to clean it. When I went to replace it I was torn between this one and the one that was a little less expensive. We went with the because it claimed ease of cleaning. It was worth EVERY PENNY!! It is soo easy to clean. It also cleans amazing and the 2 levels of clean is also nice. But I bought it specifically for the ease of clean feature and it is amazing. I am one extremely happy customer.

I am aware that the concentration of the cleaning solution plays a major role in the result and that more concentrated is not necessarily better. This concern is not really addressed in any of the documentation. ALSO, the advice on the machine itself appears to conflict with the manual and with that on the concentrate bottle. I find this to be such a negative that I find myself wishing for a product that I KNOW I am using properly. The problem here is that I am using TWO products, one mechanical and one chemical with no reliable help in assurance of proper use. I would recommend to the casual user but not to anyone who needs to be correct. Having said this, I am not certain that any other carpet cleaning product is any better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After power washing my outdoor rug with very little success, I decided I would give it one last try with my Bissell pro heat 2x before I threw it away. While the rug was still in good shape, it had been neglected for over a year and I felt it was beyond cleaning. I did hesitate for a minute. I thought all this ground-in dirt and algae may be too much for it to handle, and I didn't want to damage the machine. But, after using my Bissell for 3 years, and seeing that it could tackle any job I put in front of it, I thought I would try. I would start by cleaning a corner first to see how it would handle it. The results were shocking as you can see in the pictures. I'm so excited to be able to enjoy my rug again. Here is a big THANK YOU to all the engineers who developed this product. It's an incredible machine. Well done!

Very surprised!!!!! After reading reviews for this product, was skeptical due to the belt breaking issue. Bought it and love it. Even got ahead of the game and bought a few belts just in case. Very inexspensive, only 4.95 each. Very glad that I purchased this model, cleans great!!!!!

I am beyond happy with this product!! I have 3 long haired cats, 1 Great Pyrenees, and 2 Flemish giant rabbits. Needless to say they create a ton of mess! The dog brings in tons of dirt/mud every time he comes inside. He has so much fur on his feet that cleaning them with a towel does not help nearly enough. He also gets stinky between groomings, Then there's the rabbits that will sometimes have accidents out side their litter boxes. Yuck! And lets not forget the cats with their occasional hairballs. Anyway, point being this machine takes care of all of these issues! It is so super easy to use and light enough for me to carry from floor to floor. The tanks are beyond easy to fill and clean. I used to have my husband carry and set up my other machine because I could never tell how to take apart and put back the tanks and attachments. So now I can clean my carpets whenever I need to without his help. I also love that it has the 2 modes, so when I am in a rush and need quick drying, I have that option! I have used this on area rugs, plush wall to wall carpets, as well as Berber carpet. Worked well on all 3. I received a trial for this from PinchMe in exchange for my honest opinions.

This gets 2 stars only because the actual carpet cleaning function, cleans the carpet pretty well. As far as ease of use, and accessories are concerned, don't waste your money. The accessories are a pain, cleaning the machine is a pain, mixing the solution, a pain. The Hoover Smartwash machine that is very similar, is far more user friendly and a much better machine over all. You don't have a trigger to squeeze. The Bissell, you have to continue to squeeze the trigger and release to disburse, or not, solution. The Hoover, no mixing, no trigger, you push and go. This Biseell boasts a 2-1 pet tool with wet and dry mode. Dry mode, is a glorified vacuum and the attachments hardly get the upholstery clean with barely any suction. The carpet cleaner brushes continue to run while attachments are being used, which I do not like at all. This is not worth price tag. As far as upholstery and attachments, save yourself the money and buy Bissells little green machine. It is far more effective. I wish I could return and get my money back.

I received this BISSELL ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro from PINCHme in exchange for my honest review. When I first received the Bissell ProHeat, I was a little intimidated by the size of the box and how "apart" it seemed to be. It was actually much easier to assemble than I anticipated. Once assembled, I decided to test it out in a smaller area, but one that had old hard to remove stains. The Heatwave technology to remove embedded stains works but I wouldn't say it's fantatsic. I think with a good stain remover or spot treatment, it would work better. I was impressed with the dry time though. The carpet was dried faster than with other carpet cleaners I have used in the past. I used the upholstery tool to clean spots from a mattress and couch and it worked very well. I was happy with those results. The reservoir for dirty water was very simple to lift out, my only gripe was that it didn't hold that much water so there was a lot of stopping to empty it out. Overall I liked this BISSELL ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro and would recommend. It's a good buy for the price and it was very easy to use and assemble. I appreciated that it was lightweight even though I thought based on appearance it wasn't going to be.

Wow, I could not believe the job it did on our rugs, they look almost new and smell wonderful. After buying carpet cleaner after carpet cleaner such as Hoover, Bissell, etc. this Bissell Pro Heat 2X is #1 hands down and at 82 yrs. old very easy to operate in fact much easier than any machine I have owned and I have owned many. Always thought the cleaners I have had did the job, however, when cleaning a rug with our new Bissell, it went over a section and when pulling it back you could smell the urine come out. I could not believe my eyes/nose. You go Bissell, you did it right this time.

We've had this a few months and I've used it a half dozen times. I use it to get up stains and also for general cleaning to address pet hair at my home and pet odors at a relatives home. It is not hard to transport back and forth. I've been pleased with the job it does! Its not hard to use and get its up so much pet hair! Its great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to vacuum carpet dry/wet. I feel the only setting with enough suction is the deep clean. I like the machine, however, I get poor recovery. About 1/4 gallon per gallon used. I am not an expert, but I cannot imagine leaving that much water behind is good. The vacuum needs more suction. More than 6 hours to dry. If there is something I am doing wrong, I am open to correction. Thank you.
