This product is really poorly designed. Why can't brush rotation be disabled when using the hose attachment? When cleaning stairs, there aren't a lot of places to keep moving the machine so carpet isn't damaged by rotating brushes. The hose spray function works great when the machine is above the hand-held device. Halfway down the stairs I had to move the machine to the bottom of the stairs for the hose to reach. Spray function stopped working at this point even though I followed the instructions several times for priming the hose. I had to spray the cleaning solution by hand from a bottle for the bottom 7 steps. That was a ton of fun. Lastly, the flat gear belt broke on the 3rd (!) use of this machine. I do see other reviews that show belt breakage is an issue. I expect better for what this machine cost.

I have recently purchased two items from Bissell in the past two years and the QUALITY IS !NOT! THERE!!! Bissell you should be ashamed of the quality of products you sell to consumers that either break and/or do not work. I purchased a steam mop and 4 months after use, it started leaking water and just quit working. Cool, fine. Decided (regretfully) to give this carpet cleaner a try. This Bissell ProHeat2x Revolution is garbage. I filled the solution tank with 1 gallon of water and it literally returned 1/10 of that into the dirty water tank. It actually amazes me that people (including myself) are still purchasing this. I mean, the design & functionality are great because you can dissemble with ease the components for easy cleaning such as the brush roll & water suction component etc., HOWEVER if everything is working great EXCEPT for the dirty water NOT being suctioned back into the tank, that in turn is leaving DIRTY WATER IN YOUR CARPETS. So everything else just goes out the window. Don't buy this. **Oh, and, to top off everything... when I opened the box after first receiving this carpet cleaner, both water tanks had condensation inside & the brush roll had long human hair and pet hair and fibers in the brush roll. This led me to believe that it was possible Bissell sent me a used unit. Totally unacceptable considering I was led to believe upon purchasing, at FULL PRICE I might add, a brand new unit. Hmm.. not good business in my opinion. If you're going to redistribute a return/used item SAY SO BISSELL. And don't charge me full retail price for a used machine. Thanks :)

This came in the mail yesterday morning it was really easy to assemble the first pass of cleaning my 13 year old carpets it was pure white the color it was brand new I was shocked I almost cried because I was living in that dirt for years!!! I also love the 2in1 pet tool I have 4 dogs this carpet cleaner cleaned up all the pet accidents and stains dirt I also took this out to clean out my car and the color changed also with using the accessory hose and the stairs!!! Overall this is a great heavy duty carpet cleaner i only buy bissell products this is great for people with pets I would recommend to anybody

I was a little skeptical because I have use numerous rug cleaners over many years. This was the easiest to use that I've ever owned. It really helped to pick up some pet stains. I only wish they had included the hard floor roller so I can start using it on my tile!!

Well, if you live in your home... you need this. Life happens weather or not you have children or pets. This is a must have. You don't realize how many times you will use it until you have it. I have 2 children and 2 pets. I have used this from drink spills, food spills and pet stains. This works amazing and is light weight. I love that it leaves the carpet clean and it is not soaking wet. This has been a huge life saver even to my throw rug and my couch!! It is amazing how far home cleaners have come. A few minute clean up can save hundreds in new carpet, couches or having a perfecional come to your house.

This product was given to me free of charge from Pinchme in exchange for my honest review. And I LOVE IT!. I owned a Hoover prior to this carpet cleaner and I thought my puppy was just peeing some kind of stainy pee I'd never unsee. Then this cleaner arrived and my life was unstained. I literally used this shampooer once and the stains were lifted. The lightweight design and heated water made cleaning simple. 30 min drying time is the best part. No more soggy carpets for hours! The easy to you hose that does dry and wet vacuuming made life simple again. Thank you for finally making a cleaner I dont have to struggle, fight and cry to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was so easy to assemble and clean after all that dirt that came out of me carpet! I can't believe it got old stains and even did a good job of getting a super hard stain/mold that was building up near me fridge. I am truly happy and amazed at how easy it was to clean my carpet and rugs. I definitely would buy from Bissell again.

Bought this to clean up pet mess and now I have the worst odor and I DO NOT feel that my carpet is clean. It appears that when using the deep clean function you leave more water on the carpet and collect/vacuum back very little. Watching the videos and reading the user guide is no help. Also, the nastiest thing is that if you "park" the machine on a rug or wood floor the dirty water that collects on the brushes and the brush cover leaks back on to your floors! The vacuum is not even powerful enough to keep itself clean in use. Now I have a wet, foul smelling pet stained carpet. If I could return this I would - spend the money on a new carpet.

I received the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner free from Pinchme for my honest opinion.I love the way my carpets came out and my couch.Easy to use and put together.Having a cat, she stained my carpet in different areas.It has a cleanShot pretreater to target that area,that works well. The suction is great.The water stays warm.The 2-1 upholstery tool, lets you vacuum dry,then wet to clean.I would recommend this product.My carpets and couch look new again!
