I was given the ProHeat 2x Revolution pet pro to try we have 3 granddaughters 6,2 an 1 years old an 6 dogs in the house an if you know kids an dogs the messes they can make I had a few stains I've tried to get out with other cleaners but never worked I used this on the carpet an the furniture all my stains came out I even used the cleaner in my truck seats you know kids car seat feeding them what a mess took it all right out love my cleaner

Parvo is an intestinal virus that kills over 90% of the puppies it infests. She's now about 12 years old and occasionally has severe diarrhea, to my mind, latent issues with her Parvo infection. She has just had an incident and I have liquid messes on several of my carpets. I used to have a Rug Doctor, it was good, but heavy, and hard to clean, I bought the ProHeat 2X and it is awesome! Cleans as well, if not better, as the Rug Doctor, and FAR easier to clean. All areas of her recent accidents are gone. In less trafficked areas of the carpet, it looks brand new. Heavier trafficked area will need a couple of more passes. I love this machine!

I was very impressed with the results of year old messes from my puppy. ( We used the OXY formula for pets). I thought the weight was ok to bring up and down the levels of our house. You will constantly have to empty the dirty water tank and fill the clean one but any bigger of a tank and you have the issue of moving more weight so I feel the trade off is fair . One small thing that I felt was a bit of an after thought was the design of the clean water tank . When you are filling it with solution and warm water, the line is on the other side of where the groove is when hold it. A filling line all the way around or at least where you can see it without turning it when filling would have been more convenient. The cord was long enough but the hose wasn't quite long enough to do all stairs while plugged in on one floor so it would have been nice to have a hose about 2 feet longer. Also I found that the 6" tool when used for stairs left the stairs them very wet still. I would have really liked to have the Bissell 3 point stair tool instead. Nonetheless, even though I've only used it once ( I did the whole house ) , I'm glad I purchased this carpet cleaner , I'm impressed with the warranty and I wish I bought it 3 years ago when we first bought our home instead of hiring a company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a Pro Heat 2X revolution, before getting the Pet Pro, thinking it would out perform it by a long shot since I have 2 dogs and a cat, but so far I've been completely wrong. I have always used Bissell carpet cleaning solution's and always used the recommended amount of that and the water I needed for deep clean. Never had an issue with solution not coming out of my carpet until I moved into a newer apartment, and always had to go over everything again with warm/hot water to actually make it feel clean. So figured it would be the same routine with the new Pet Pro I purchased or easier since it's brand new compared to my five year old Bissell. It's actually way worse. The solution, no matter how many times I go over with water, does not come out at all. I've tried to clean my carpet, with many different Bissell carpet solutions, and many different methods to reduce the amount of solution in my carpet, but I have not had any success whatsoever. I don't know what's different between the two, very similar machines I own, I know the carpet in our "luxury apartment" doesn't help, but I would assume the brand new and better "performing" carpet cleaner would out do my 5 year old one. If one of my dogs didn't chew up the cord to my older one, I would definitely be using that instead. I love you Bissell for keeping many of the places I called home, clean, but this one is stressing me out worse than my wife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful machine for cleaning carpets. There is a visible color change in my carpets every time I use it. It is a little cumbersome to clean all the parts and pieces when you are done but since I only use it a couple times per year, it isn't a big deal. I wish it had a bigger canister though as I have to stop to empty and refill many many times to get my whole house done. Very happy with my purchase!

I didn't have a need for a "Pet Carpet Cleaner" as my dogs are older but I do have white carpeting. We have a Rug Doctor Mighty we have been using to clean the carpets but you still had to pretreat AND scrub the stain. After one cleaning with the 1986 the carpet was clean and white where as it took several with the more expensive Rug Doctor. I highly recommend this cleaner!!!

I have carpeting that is nearly white and 3 dogs with lots of hair. Love the fact that not only does it do a good job but that I can take all of the areas that collect the hair dirt etc apart and have my cleaner look like new every time I use it. I have another brand that holds onto the dirt, hair etc so it looks filthy after I use it even if I try to clean it I just can't get to the dirty areas.

I have a golden retriever puppy, two athletic boys and a truck driver husband, and this thing has managed to get out all the dirt, grime, grease, puppy pee stains they manage to get in the carpet. Super easy to clean when I'm done and the different types of carpet cleaners fit every need. I highly recommend using the Boost with the cleaner too.

I bought this because we have carpet in our basement. And i thought the floor was ruined thanks to a leaky basement. But i bought this and the carpet was saved. I have bought alot of carpet cleaners in the past. But none of them were this powerful or cleaned as good as this did.
