I absolutely love this steam cleaner! I typically have a company to clean my carpets, but no more! Save the money and do it yourself! I understand we are all professionals and work long hours like I do, but this is very easy to assemble, even for this single gal, I put it together in no time! Even if you have no pets, this one is the best!

Having 3 Cocker Spaniels there are times when I need to spot clean. I decided to try the Revolution after researching the reviews and am happy with the results. The only downside is the cleaning of the machine, the dog hair snags in the nozzle & brush roll cover & even with the tool Bissell includes takes a lot of patience.

I had reservations about getting and using a carpet cleaner myself because I live in mobile home in a retirement community. My home is from the late 70s, so I was concerned about the subfloor getting wet and disintegrating. Mobile homes from this era are notorious for having used partical board in the subfloor. I asked the question to Bissell via email and wasn't surprised that the rep that answered didn't want to go off their standard scripted answers. Made the purchase and glad I did. The machine does a very good job at removing the moisture from the carpets, especially so on the express setting with about 1 hour for completely dry carpets. The express setting doesn't give as deep of a cleaning, so I had to do my carpets twice to get them where I wanted, but I was fine with that. It beat the alternative of hiring a company to come in and do it and now that I have my own machine, I can maintain it as I see fit. I was really looking forward to rejuvenating my couch and chairs, but the upholstery attachment is a bit underwhelming. It's not a powered attachment, so no powered moving beater rollers in it. The upholstery attachment is the only disappointment with this machine. I have multiple carpet types. The bedrooms have a deep carpet, and then I have several area rugs and finally an indoor/outdoor carpet on my screen porch. This machine did a very good job on all 3 different types of carpets. Easy to use, really not much heavier than my Bissell vacuum cleaner. One other note about the cleaning solutions, use a funnel! The bottle caps are supposed to be designed so you can use them as a measure and pour into the water tank. They are very prone to dripping all over the place. The cleaning product is not cheap and losing some of it trying to pour it into the water tank was frustrating. Bottom line, very good for use in an older mobile home.

Had 2 top of the line Hoover for years, I saw Bissell on Bemyguestwithdenise on youtube and got one and I LOVE IT! She had a lesser model than this and I was so amazed that I went and got one for myself I found that it cleaned my stinky area where my dog lays all the time! It was easy to use and I am now a solid Bissell user for the years to come.

I used this machine the instant I got home. I could not believe how much dirt it was able to extract from my carpets and upholstery. I have a dog that has her own recliner. She sits all over the fur-niture but her chair is the favorite. I also had rooms that I don't go in that often, guests rooms and the like, and was shocked at how much dirt this new Bissell got up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved this machine AT FIRST.. It worked great.... UNTIL I attempted to use the tools. I couldn't get them to spray no matter how hard I tried. . UNLESS they were a few iches above the base of the machine (below clear water tank level- which was complety useless unless I wanted to scrub my carpet by hand) and it wasn't the greatest flow.(drips). and as soon as I raised it to clean my couch it lost ALL FLOW... I've read the manual... searched google/youtube...primed it..made sure hose was attached correctly and tank had H2O.. nothing worked. Soooo DISAPPOINTED. one of the reasons I purchased it was to clean furniture.

Wow, I could not believe the job it did on our rugs, they look almost new and smell wonderful. After buying carpet cleaner after carpet cleaner such as Hoover, Bissell, etc. this Bissell Pro Heat 2X is #1 hands down and at 82 yrs. old very easy to operate in fact much easier than any machine I have owned and I have owned many. Always thought the cleaners I have had did the job, however, when cleaning a rug with our new Bissell, it went over a section and when pulling it back you could smell the urine come out. I could not believe my eyes/nose. You go Bissell, you did it right this time.

What a carpet cleaner. Very easy and simple to assemble. I was surprised at how light weight it is, but it is no light weight when it comes to cleaning. The dual brushes are fantastic. One great feature is so simple yet so handy - it is the little hook on the handle that holds the cord away from the cleaner as you use it. Very, very handy. As we are on the floor a lot with exercises and kids keeping it clean is important to me. - This machine does really well in cleaning the carpet and I have very pleased with the performance. - It is easy to use and easy to get to the two containers. - I haven't used the attachments yet but it appears to be easy to use and connect as well. - Love the long cord. Extra extension allows me to get into the majority of the house without having to unplug and move. Down side to the machine is: - The ratio with the clean water to the dirty water. As you are cleaning the dirty containers fills and must be emptied before the clean container is empty. So you empty the dirty water only to have to fill the clean water a few minutes later. Seems I was always changing one of the containers. - The container that sucks the water up through the brushes will trap lint. Getting that lint out is next to impossible. I vacuum my carpet thoroughly before cleaning and again after to lift the fibers. It took me several tries and many techniques to get that lint out of the compartment.
