[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cleaned all my bedrooms (wall to wall carpet with med-low pile), a large entry mat and an area rug. I found it easy to change the settings on the machine to handle different situations and it was easy to empty, refill and clean the machine at the end. When cleaning there was a lot of carpet fibres that the machine seems to have pulled from my carpets which was a bit alarming but also shows how powerful the brushes are. The cleaning solutions are a bit pricey but overall I am happy with the value, convenience and performance over a rental machine.

We like the new one and its features, especially the self-cleaning tray. The tanks are small, however, and a thorough carpet cleaning will mean many, many trip to dump/refill as needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use the machine on deep plush carpet. Not happy that fresh/clean solution was being sucked into dirty reservoir on initial forward passes before it could be scrubbed into the carpet. Seems a waste of cleaning solution. For best results on deep clean I apply solution on a forward pass, lift the brushes and reset for the next part of the area and repeat until I've covered the area, allowing the solution scrubbed into the carpet to sit for 10-20 minutes. I then start over making backward passes without applying solution, only brushes and suction. I finish by starting over and making backward passes across the area 90deg/perpendicular from the first two passes, again with only brushes and suction. I really think a way to turn on/ off suction, similar to the trigger for solution would be much better.

I was able to get rid of the small throw rugs that was hiding the stains. I am having difficulty with the small cleaner for tight corners and furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an old shampooer that did not work well. My new Bissell picks up so much more. With the old shampooer you could still feel sand in the carpet. My new Bissell pick it all up. So much faster and easier then the old shampooer. I read the reviews that said it wqould not pick up pet hair, which is true, but it does pull it up to the top of the carpet where I can pick it up by hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spot cleaning and full carpet cleaning. Works great for both. Picked up after my old rug cleaner burnt out. My carpet looks cleaner than it has in a long time. The Clean shot feature works amazing for spots a regular pass doesn't pick up fully. Love the additions to keep the rug cleaner clean and free from clogging with pet fur.

We have two dogs and one has the occasional habit of peeing on our wall to wall carpet. I bought this carpet cleaner to use about once a month for the entire room. Overall it worked really well and made a big difference. Based on the dirty water tank, it appeared to have pulled years worth of dirt from the carpet! The only downside is that it took me two fills of the clean water jug to do only one room. It's a tedious process to fill and use the vacuum but the results are great.

I bought this because the carpeting was getting a little dingy & dirty and the local carpet cleaning services where short handed. After receiving and assembling (which was easy, all click on and one screw for part of the cord management), I tried it in a hallway and the difference is like night and day. During the past weekend (12/5 and 12/6/2020), I used it in a couple bedrooms with heavy staining (mostly from dirt/dust buildup) and it made a HUGE difference, best purchase I've ever made. And the nice thing about it is it makes less noise than an upright canister vacuum.
