[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought pro heat 3 weeks ago & I always wanted to own a shampooing machine that I can work with whenever I have the time. The machine works good, however, I have noticed couple of things which made me give it a 4 stars review. 1- The machine stoped sucking many times during the cleaning, I tried to figure the reason, went back to the manual, checked if the filter was clogged & checked both tanks. Everything was ok, but the machine is still not sucking. The only way that worked is to turn it off for couple of minutes. 2- The dirty water tank leaks from the bottom when I pull it out to empty it, which causes a big mess. 3- The stairs tools do not do a great job, they are hard to use and Don not clean properly. I had to use the upholstery attachment to be done & it did a good job. 4- keep in mind that There is no way to do the corners & edges of the room no matter how hard You try as the machine won't reach there. I used the stairs tools for that part, which was a double job. Otherwise, the machine is of good quality and both tank sizes are reasonable, good cord & stairs' hose length. Tips: Clean the filter, brushes & dirty water tank after each area. Let the machine cool down every now and then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our previous (non-Bissell) carpet cleaner died, we borrowed our friends' Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro to finish the job. It was so much better than the old one that I went back and re-did the rest of the house so it was all just as clean! We bought this to clean our new house's carpet and it pulled up nearly all of the stains left by the seller. We have 2 cats and the pet upholstery tool works like a charm for messes on furniture. I love how quick and easy it is to use compared to our old cleaner, and that it has a cleaning tray to clean out the brushes after using so it doesn't collect buildup (and the tool holders on the side are a bonus). I also am excited to use the stair tool, as I have no idea how I would clean them without it! I wish that the dirty tank could hold as much water as the clean tank so I don't have to empty it as much (I plan to do our entire basement next but I know it will take forever to clean since I have to run upstairs to fill and empty the tanks). The only other issue is that the hole for the screw on the back wasn't properly drilled through so we had to make one ourselves in order to assemble. Overall, I LOVE this machine and all it has to offer!

I received this product to test from PINCHme, I was very excited to try it as I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. My older cat sometimes has accidents in the house. . The Bissell Pro heat carpet cleaner was all that I expected. It is lightweight, has a long hose, and powerful suction. It has a pretreater function which targets spots and stains that works well. I used it on the carpets and also the furniture. I was amazed at how clean everything looked when I was done. Simple to use and clean.

I absolutely love this thing! It makes cleaning up after my dogs so easy! I usually had to rent a shampooer from the local grocery store to clean carpets but this works so well I dont need to use the heavier cleaning machine. I would definitely recommend this machine for someone with pets. Its lightweight so not miserable to take up and down the steps either.

Overall, this has been a great performer. Well worth the money. What I like about this machine, is the ease of cleaning the containers and parts. With 3 dogs that shed. This beast picks up the dog hairs. I liked it so much, that I went out and purchased a Crosswave as well for my tile and hardwood floors.

I have always rented machines in the past. A new dog and a particularly dirty carpet lead me to take the plunge and purchase my first shampooer....and boy am I glad that I did! The Bissell is lightweight, easy to use, easy to take apart and clean....and bottom line it gets the carpets clean. With this dog, I'm already saving money. Really glad I spent a little extra and got the ProHeat. Great machine!

I bought this Bissell cleaner as a gift for my daughter. She is meticulous when it comes to cleaning her home, but she has four dogs and one of them is old and has "accidents" on her carpets fairly regularly. No worries!! She simply pulls out her Bissell and cleans them up...completely. SHE LOVES IT and would be lost without it to help her keep her house clean and smelling good. The next Bissell I BUY IS FOR ME!!

It is very difficult to remove the brushes to clean them. You have to unscrew a cover, remove a belt, them remove brushes. It must be short-hair dog proven by people who do not have the worry about long hu.an and dog hair wrapping around the brush rollers.

I had been on the fence about buying the proheat 2x and decided to get it about a month ago and it has been a life saver. I'm a dog mom to two awesome puppers with a golden who loves to get into things she shouldn't and an 18 year old mix who sometimes can't wait to go. As you can see in the pictures the last thing my golden got into didn't agree with her and I walked into the living room with piles of diarrhea all over the floor. Whipped out my ProHeat 2x put it on express mode and 3 hours later you can't tell what a monstrosity my living room was before.

I have always purchased Bissell carpet cleaners but they just were not doing the job they were either constantly plugging up or dumping water or just not picking up enough water! I finally decided to try a Hoover carpet clean and my whole attitude changed on cleaning carpets. Usually it would take me 1/2 day to clean hallway and living room and the carpet would be wet for 2 days!!!!With the Hoover it took me 1 hour I did not have to go back over the carpet 3 or 4 times AND the carpet was dry the next morning!!! Plus machine was super easy to clean!!! No more Bissell ever again!!!
