I was excited at the idea of not having to vacuum the kitchen floor before washing it, and also at having the ability to clean the carpets, so I bought the product. We have two cats. Unfortunately, the suction is not very strong and when I use it on the carpets I have to vacuum with my Dyson (which is over a decade old) first. Otherwise the Bissell vacuum loses suction. In the kitchen it does slightly better, however it does leave pools of water and the suction is still not very good. It's true that it weighs less than a rental machine, but it is still quite heavy. Also, it would be better if the cleaning tray had wheels.

My carpets have seen there better days since I have two young kids and a dog. I have tried so many carpet cleaners and nothing work. BISSELL® ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner did an amazing job in just minutes. It was so easy to use and effective. My only complaint is that it leaves a smell afterward that lasted a few hours. Not sure if this was because of the pet stains or I am doing something wrong. Otherwise I love it!

I love this steam cleaner. It does exactly what I need it to. It sucks up the water quickly allowing the carpet to dry fast. You can actually watch the machine suck up stains. Best of all, it is so much easier to clean the machine than previous models once the job is done. You just snap off the different pieces, rinse them, put them back on, and it is ready for storage. I'm so happy with my purchase!

I was quite impressed by this Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution pet Pro Carpet Cleaner and the way that worked extremely well to lift stains and get my carpets extremely clean without having to go over the area several times. I felt like one of the best things about it is the fact that you can actually trigger a pre trainer from a foot plate on the cleaning machine itself. The pretreater helps to remove stuck-on spots and stains but also makes it simpler to clean period another really great features the fact that it has and upholstery tool that you can actually use dry and also wet to clean off furniture. It has a removable brush cover that makes it extremely easy to clean the rotating brush. I also felt like cleaner and easily moved around to clean all different areas in my house. I actually have two dogs and a cat and have major issues with hair and this cleaner definitely held up to it and had a very strong suction. I was also very easy to clean. I used it in all different places in my house I like the fact that it even got out stuck on pet stains from my carpets. I would definitely recommend it simply because can be used in different ways and on different services within your home but also is very powerful and lightweight enough to move around

What a great purchase! We have a dog, 2 cats and a rabbit to clean up after and this carpet cleaner did an amazing job removing their mess, hair, smell, etc. So convenient to have this on hand for quick clean ups anytime. I wish we'd invested in this sooner!

I've used Bissel machines for decades. Love them but this machine is by far the best! Great design. Great function. The BEST is how easy it is to clean!!!!! Can't believe how easy it is. I own an extreme cleaning company and have put this machine in my equipment inventory. Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned numerous carpet cleaners over the years but this one, just WOW! I have never seen one remove pet stains as effortlessly as this bad boy. It even took out stains my previous cleaner didn't touch! Did it with max of 2 passes! Seriously impressed. If there is a down side it would be it's extreme suction power, after vacuuming twice before using this beast pulled up tons of pet hair! I vacuum every other day at least, if it had been my Great Pyrenees hair I wouldn't have been surprised but this was cat fur I couldn't even see! Super easy to use, not heavy or difficult to maneuver but far more powerful than advertised. I am blown away!

This is a very powerful machine that works like magic on stains. We have pet stains from potty accidents as well as stains all over the carpet by my little one. I had tried professional carpet cleaning in the past but it was expensive and not so perfect. I tried to buy Bissel on the advice of one of my friends and I can't thank her enough. This machine amazingly removed all the stains and my carpet looks like new. The carpet dries sooner than normal with Bissell. The cost is on the higher side but worth looking at the cost of professional cleaning. It is not lightweight but it does an amazing job so I don't mind lifting some extra pounds. It is very easy to use. Highly recommend it.

I have owned several Bissell steam cleaning products over the past ten years or so. One of them was a SpotBot, which has been working well for a few years. The other three were uprights (such as this ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 1986), and all three of them had hand tool attachments that stopped spraying water, rendering them useless. It seems like the spray button stops working or the hoses get clogged, even though I only ever use the recommended Bissell brand cleaning fluid for each device. While the previous ones lasted at least a dozen uses before no longer working, this ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner stopped working after the second use. Bissell products are possibly the least-reliable products I have ever purchased. I hope to never have to purchase another one, again.

I used this product on my carpets. We hasn't really deep cleaned them in about a year. To look at the carpet after we used the ProHeat you would think our carpets were new again. We have had 1 dog and 2 cats and they like to make a mess at times. You would never know it now.. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Very Lightweight too.
