[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner does NOT heat the water. If you are expect a machine with hot water or steam this is NOT the machine for you. The water is as hot as the water you put in and you better clean quickly if you want it to stay hot! I even called Bissel to ask if it heats the water and was told it did!

Got up so much excess pet hair I could not believe it. Even after we vacuumed. Get this product-you will not believe it!!!

I used this machine the instant I got home. I could not believe how much dirt it was able to extract from my carpets and upholstery. I have a dog that has her own recliner. She sits all over the fur-niture but her chair is the favorite. I also had rooms that I don't go in that often, guests rooms and the like, and was shocked at how much dirt this new Bissell got up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is supposed to have a five year warranty. It didn't even last two years! I got to use it precisely three times. Just tried using it for fourth time, and it no longer sucks up any water! What a completely useful pile of garbage!

I love this carpet cleaner! I purchased it to replace my rug Dr. that didn't have good suction and always left my carpets wet. This carpet cleaner has great suction! I go over each spot forward and back 2x with spray and 2-4 (depending on how dirty it is) suction and it doesn't feel wet at all. My son had spilled ink on his carpet about 2 years ago and this cleaner got it all up! My rug dr didn't even touch it. It works good for stairs. My stairs are super dirty so it may have been harder than normal for me but I used the tool that vacuums and carpet cleans and it worked great. I love the rubber bristles on it, it really got up dog hair. Basically,It's as easy to use as a vacuum! It cleans great and doesn't leave the floors wet.

pinchme sent me this and I love it. have used it to clean my carpet from the cat and the dog and it works great . spots on the rug this machine picks up beautifully . also because of the attachments I went out to my car to see if it could clean up the stain on my back seat because of the dogs dirty paws from over a year ago, it cleaned it up perfect made sure it was a hot and sunny day when I did this. very light weight not like the old heavy ones that were hard to move around this one moves with ease. love this machine would tell anyone to buy it.

The only thing I would do different if I were Bissell is give it bigger tanks. Of course that would mean making it bulkier and heavier. Good job Bissell.

Having multiple cats and a dog along with 2 kids makes for a mess sometimes. I received this carpet cleaner just in time. The master bedroom carpet was stained due to an older pet having an accident and the cleaner came that morning. So after unboxing it we put it to use and it was a pleasure to use. Honestly the thing that took the most time was taking everything out of the box! Within minutes our carpet looked better than it had in years. So much so that we opted to do the whole room instead of just the spot with the accident. Emptying the unit out is easy and clean up a breeze. So happy I have this unit in our home. Only the power cord is to short had to use an extension cord and my roller cover doesn't seem to come off to clean. Had to use the stick to get the hair out. That was disappointing. Other than those 2 things worked great.

We bought this to clean the carpet after we had multiple visitors for a couple of weeks. It was priced right and all I can say about the way it cleaned our carpet is WOW! It did a great job and the carpets looked like they did when we bought the house two years ago.
