This carpet cleaner does an excellent job, better results than I expected. There was a fairly large stain on some carpet that another carpet cleaner did not get out all the way, just faded it. This one got it out completely the first pass, with pretreatment.

This machine definitely picked up a lot of ground in dirt. One room I followed the instructions and another room I followed the instructions but then followed up with a rinse with just hot water (no soap) to see what I wasn't picking up. The rinse water was almost as dirty as the 1st pass and pulled up much more of the soap left over from the first pass. In order to pull up the maximum amount of water, you do have to make slow passes and for me, the slow forward pass picked up much more water than a backward pass. This takes some time to get good results but I'm happy with owning my own carpet cleaner and can't wait to see what the next cleaning looks like.

I use this product for my living room. I have a cream colored carpet and a 4 year old. I saw several videos where this vacuum got red stains out of carpets and thought hey it will help but sadly it has not I still have that red drink stain on my carpets. But it still is a good vacuum and gets up so much pet hair. I could make a blanket out of how much hair I have gotten out of my carpet ( I also have a husky) I use this product twice a week and it leaves my carpet nice and comfy to walk on. I can tell a huge difference. I would buy this vacuum if you are needing a carpet cleaner. However I think if you already have one I would wait for something better. I have a Hoover and the concept is the same.

Share my home with 2 big senior dogs so needed for accidents and freshening. Didn't expect much because carpets are old with old stains, was shocked with how quick and easy it cleaned. Tried hand tool, all it did was get surface wet, which was dissapointing but the quality of the floor cleaning on carpets and rugs completely makes this worth every penny.

I have owned for years a tank style cleaner from Kenmore with a Beater Bar brush and it, unlike any other cleaner I have bought in the last few years, removed the human and pet fur that accumulates in the fiber of the carpet. The beater brush in this unit works similarly. I have found that by removing the hair as well as the dirt the carpet unmats and looks cleaner. This means my carpets will last a lot longer too. It also works well on pet stains and this is because along with the brush it has a strong suction that will pick up the loosened hair. My only complaint is its weight but I am sure the weight is part of what makes it work so well.

We are a family of a German Shepherd a Doberman and two parrots if you have any of these types of animals you no they can be messy. Occasionally there are spills on the carpet coffee or wine. This Machine is amazing I love it it was easy to clean the rugs. I also cleaned the sofa. Everything dried quickly. It's so amazing to have A machine that does a wonderful job at a reasonable price.

Having 3 Cocker Spaniels there are times when I need to spot clean. I decided to try the Revolution after researching the reviews and am happy with the results. The only downside is the cleaning of the machine, the dog hair snags in the nozzle & brush roll cover & even with the tool Bissell includes takes a lot of patience.

I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by the sheer amount of dirt, hair, and what appeared to be some kind of SLUDGE that came out of my carpet. I'm really impressed. I vacuumed first, expecting to cut down on the stuff this would have to pick up, but it was as if I hadn't bothered. Tank upon tank of cat fur-infested mud-water came out of these carpets. I am absolutely in love. I will say, as opposed to a standard vacuum, its difficult to turn this machine (and any carpet cleaner, to be fair) because it doesn't have a swivel head. Its also very heavy (again, like they all are because they're filled with water). My one real complaint is that after doinv a section of carpet on deep clean, it left little chunks of cat hair behind. It picked up PLENTY of hair, dont get me wrong, but I'm not sure why it didn't get it all. Either way, it was really easy to just pick up those clumps afterwards. Super easy to clean when i was done though! Love it!

I used this product to clean the carpet in my living room. I had SO many pet urine stains that I thought I would have to replace the carpet. This product cleaned BEAUTIFULLY!! I did use pretreat on some of the worst stains. The only things i didn't like were that it is heavy and the dirty water receptacle doesn't hold much water.
