While it took me several attempts to use this machine to get the best results, I now am so happy that I bought it. It has successfully given me peace of mind in maintaining the cleanliness in my home due to occasional messes by my senior dog. The four stars is because it does require cleaning after each use and the clean water tank runs low fairly quickly.

Having a pet inside the house was a problem until we purchased the ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 1986. Now when the cat has an "accident" we can eliminate the smell/problem quickly. The carpet in our house is over 30 years old and our Bissell makes it look like new. Love this machine; wish we had purchased it earlier!

The day after I brought home this cleaner, our older dog became sick and I had a real mess to try it out on. I used the spot cleaner directly on stains and was amazed how quickly and easily they disappeared. I then did light clean over a large area and it all looked great. I have used the machine on my 85 year old dad's carpets which were pretty bad and they look wonderful. He was very surprised because he had coffee stains that my previous machine had not gotten up and this one did with no problem. I love it!!!

Wow, this machine does its job exceptionally well. I was very impressed. A friend of mine recommended it but I was a bit skeptical. After doing my research on YouTube I decided to make the purchase and don't regret it at all. This really saved me a lot of mine as I was about to have a professional cleaning come over and take care of 2 rooms and a hallway. On my 2nd use this machine paid for itself. Don't hesitate to buy it!

We have an older cat who sadly isn't able to make it to her litter sometimes in time. We had a previous carpet cleaner that did ok but didn't really remove everything. This carpet cleaner is amazing! You can definitely tell it gets a deeper clean and removes the stain more then our previous one.

I bought this cleaner when I purchased my home. Cleaned all carpets in the bedrooms. The previous owners had a cat, this cleaner got all the cat hair out of the carpet. I also had some paint stains that this cleaner removed off the carpet! I love the self cleaning function!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this specifically cause my dog had an accident in my daughters room. I used the cleaner it can with and actually bought a bigger bottle of the same (pretty pricey) I cleaned the room and it smelt great until it dried. Now her entire carpet smells like urine instead of just the one spot. I thought maybe I didn't do it right so I tried for a 2nd time and again still smells like urine. Not sure if it's the machine itself or the cleaner that is no good.

I know the Crosswave was not designed to be a wet vac but when my sink over ran today and I did not realize the water was on - i had 3 rooms 3 inches deep in water before I realized (I had passed out due to low sugar levels for a few min) Okay now - the shop vac was making a bigger mess I was so stressed. I grabbed my bissell crosswave pet pro and started on the water on the floors IT CLEANED UP THE ENTIRE MESS IN ALL 3 ROOMS IN something like 40 min I was ESTATIC I will never be without one of these GREAT product

Had a Hoover that just basically got too dirty after 10 years of service and changed it up to Bissell. Big mistake! Main belt broke after 2 uses and customer service is a nightmare. Want to send us replacement parts instead of replacing. I'd rather just get a refund and go back to Hoover. Avoid this unit and Bissell at all costs. Hoover has much stronger and solid construction.
