I have a top rated vacuum that I use on my area rug where my short hair boxer lays a lot. When I was cleaning it with the Proheat it kicked out a hugh hair ball that was unreal. I couldn't believe it pulled that much hair out after vacuuming. The rug looked real clean and fluffed up the pile making it look new again.

I really like this new carpet cleaner. It is lighter and more streamlined than some older Bissell models. The fun color coding of the different parts is not only more pleasing to look at, it's very helpful too. It makes it easier to identify where they go on the machine and which part to hold when assembling and cleaning. Taking the pieces on and off the machine is also very easy. I especially like the green rollers with purple and white bristles - (vs the old black on black), it's easier to see the dirt to be cleaned out. And the included clean out tool is such a help! The low profile of the cleaning head does make it easier to get under furniture and all the clear acrylic parts let me easily see when the carpet has released all the cleaning fluids as well as the levels in the clean and dirty water tanks. I did have to stop occassionally to clean out some carpet fibers that built-up in the cleaning head though, (my rugs are of very thick wool). I believe that's because this machine does such a good deep down cleaning. Overall, the carpets looked great afterwards. I would recommend that you lay the machine on it's side to completely dry out the insides after cleaning though.

I HAVE 2 OF YOUR CARPET CLEANERS AND SHAME ON YOU. I HAVE NEVER DROPPED OR PUT TOO HOT BWATER IN MY CLEAN TANKS AND BOTH LEAK HORRIBLY YOU BSHOULD SALE GASKET FOR THESE DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BISSELL WHO DONT STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCTS!

I took back a rental house that was in bad shape. The renters had trashed the house and the carpet was filthy. One room had been what I can only describe as a drug smoking den. I called in Stanley Steamer and they went over the house, but it still had spots and dirt around. I called them back to go over some areas, including 2 or 3 where there were black stains from furniture and an elderly lady's walker wheels. One of the areas looked worse after they were gone. I was despondent as I needed to rent the house and everyone who looked at it could see the stains. I tried spot cleaning with carpet cleaner and paper towels, but it didn't get better. In desperation I bought the Bissell 2X Revolution and prayed it would help. I used the 2X pet cleaner (the renters had a dog also) and the spot cleaner spray. I was pulling a blackish green water from the carpets! What I pulled up was disgusting. While I wasn't able to get rid of every spot, the major ones, including the one that had gotten worse, were either gone or hardly visible any more. The carpet pile is now up, and it looks a lot better. This was a berber carpet, but I had no problems going over spots multiple times (what did I have to lose?) and yet there was no damage and it got amazingly clean. I didn't even use the Max setting, but rather the middle setting (I didn't have time to wait for the carpet to dry that long). I did have to wait several hours for it to dry even at that, but I was over all very happy with how the carpet looks considering how awful it was before, and even after being steam cleaned. I now have new renters who said "we like the carpets" when they came in! I don't know what I would have done without this carpet cleaner. I wish I'd had time to go over the house a second time, but even doing it once make a huge difference. I will continue to use the cleaner now in my own home. Thank you, Bissell!

I have used the machine on my carpets and am very pleased. My old one finally gave out and the new model does a great job and I did not even use the deep clean option. The other thing I appreciate is how easy it is to clean the machine. I am pleased with my purchase.

I had used this carpet cleaner every week since I got it and it is amazing. My puppy still has occasional accidents and it cleans his messes up with no problems. It really does get deep down in your carpets. I have rented those machines from the grocery stores and they don't compare to the Bissel carpet cleaner. I received this product as a sample to test from Pinchme and to leave my opinion.

You'll swear that that stain isn't going to come out but Voila it's gone and It won't come back! Wowsers! I was really bummed when mine started to not draw up what I put down but it's just a seal so it's ordered and on it's way and it was less than $5. I ordered 2 just because lol. A guy wants the job to be finished for the long term when he's done. Yep this is an awesome "tool", I'll gladly "tenaciously" use this tool again "next year"! "Perfect"! Robert Oh P.S. I had coffee stains in my truck and thought I could just spot the stains away. Nope the spotted areas were so clean I had to do the whole truck. I Literally caused an "very-obvious clean spot lol. I had no idea my carpet was that dirty. The truck was very new and I kept it vacuumed and very clean inside: I thought lol.

Have used 3 times since purchase. Cleaned 2 bed rooms carpet cools great cleaned better than the Hoover we used to have. Cleaned the carpeted floor mats from the car the car is 8 years old and the mats look like they did when they were new. So easy to clean it comes completely apart all parts came clean by holding under the faucet easyest clean up on a carpet cleaner I have ever seen. Excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have cleaned many carpets and every time I use this machine it gets rid of the water/solution very quickly, but it only sucks up about 1/10 of what it lays down. My carpet stays soaked for days and doesn't dry evenly. Very frustrating.

My carpets looked terrible. My previous carpet cleaner didn't seem to be doing anything. I bought this one, and my carpet came back to life! I had stains everywhere, didn't think they would come up, but they did. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
